Battery display problem - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
Yesterday a weird problem appeared after I installed a backup (CM11S) on TWRP. My battery is working fine I suppose but the percentage being shown is not correct.
After charging it to 100% and sleeping through the night it only went down to 98%. Now I can suppose that it only uses 2% battery in 10 hours, but thats quite impossible.
So my batery percentage isn't displayed correct on android nor TWRP. I tried installing some different ROMs to see if that fixes the problem but it didnt. After installing unofficial CM12 it still says my battery is at 100% even though its impossible.
Is there anyone who knows a fix?
Thanks in advance!

Battery reporting problem

So this problem happened after I flashed a 4.2 rom. I have since restored a nandroid of my 4.1 AOKP, but the problem somehow persisted.
The problem is that the battery seems to drain normally from 100% down to 22%. Once it hits 22% it drains VERY slowly until it hits about 18%, and then all of a sudden it dies. I am sure it is draining properly from 22% down to dead, but Android is just reporting it incorrectly.
Is there something simple I can do to try to fixthis? I remember old clockwork recovery having a clear battery stats item, but I don't see anything similar in TWRP (and not even sure that would do anything).
I found this, but it seems to be a 4.2 problem, which should have been erased with restoring my 4.1 nandroid?

Thanks in advance for any tips.

Battery draining really quickly, even when idle, SENSATION CYANOGENMOD 10.1

Hi everyone, at the weekend I installed Cyanogenmod 9 on my sensation, after experiencing a bit of trouble with it draining my battery super quick I tried charging it and then discharging it fully but the problems persisted. I was told to try this ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2115520), I installed it (before doing so I wiped absolutely everything, cleared caches and wiped my SD card to be safe too), and still the problem persists. The battery drains really quickly, and even when it's supposedly idle and locked, I checked after about 10 minutes it had managed to loose about 3% battery. So I downloaded a battery stats app and let it run for a few hours, took a few screenshots (http://imgur.com/VwBtGct,BVhNjyI,mDrzMS7,v740lzH,pdXS238#0 click through the images near the top) and nothing really out of the ordinary. Is there something im missing? Or anything I can try? Or is there a chance that after a few charges and discharges the battery will be alright (it's an anker 1900mAh and I was used to going right from dawn till dusk with tonnes of battery left with the stock Sense OS).
Thanks! any help is appreciated

Charging Light Stuck On

Hi,
I'm running CM11 and within the last couple of days I've noticed my status LED is stuck in the green charging state. I should post a pic of my battery usage graph - it looks pretty stupid. The battery level is going up while it says it's on battery and it thinks it's been charging for the last 8 hours or so while it's been unplugged. Has anyone else seen this? I have one of those huge MPJ brick batteries that comes with a bigger battery cover. Hardware problem? Software problem? Or maybe I just wipe my battery stats and it's fine. I'm kind of hoping I actually unlocked God Mode for my phone and the battery won't ever run out.

I have seen this on older cm builds. Its definitely a rom thing. Usually a full reboot fixes this...till next time. And if I remember correctly it won't happen everytime. I hope this helps you.
Huh, haven't seen that issue in a while. In my experience, simply plugging it in and removing the plug a couple of times will reset the LED. A full reboot would fix it as well.

I rebooted last night and that seemed to do the trick.... for now. I think it eventually started happening again the last time I fixed it by rebooting. We'll see.

[Q]Battery dies at certain % even after calibrating battery!

Hello Folks,
I am facing a really hard issue on battery dying at certain % and showing "battery is too low, please charge for a while before you turn on" (written in english and chinese with a blue color screen), last time i was very worried when i faced the issue then i got its solution from googling and i came to know that it was battery calibration issue.. now again today suddenly while playing a game same issue occurred.. I had calibrated my battery a week ago by completely discharging and putting it on charge for 6 hours overnight without interruptions as i read in a guide. What must be wrong now? today it switched off on 16% before it was 19-20%.. Please help me and tell me a full proof guide to get my normal device functioning back..

Battery issues (Miscalibrated?)

Hi guys, how you're doing? Hope you're fine.
I'm having some weird issues with my Maxx battery. My phone was showing 80% the last time I charged, when I rebooted it showed something around 74. The most weird part was when I rebooted to recovery right after, and TWRP showed 70%. All I could think by that time was that my battery is either dying or miscalibrated. I did all the battery calibration procedure but the problem persists.
Do you guys know any method to solve my problem?
Also, sorry for my bad English.
I'm not sure I understand the problem. What you're describing is normal behavior...rebooting places a high load on the CPU, which uses a considerable amount of power; you might have noticed that the phone gets pretty hot if booting up takes a long time. It's not uncommon or unreasonable to drop several % doing so.
If you're worried about miscalibration, run the phone until it shuts off, and then recharge it fully. But really, I wouldn't worry too much about it unless your phone starts doing very odd things (such as turning itself off anywhere above 5%).

My Turbo was shutting down at for low battery. Then I plug it in and it would show 20-22% on the power-off charging display. I tried the standard 'recalibration procedure' but it didn't work. I had success with the steps in this post. The app mentioned does a lot more than whatever the re-calibrate feature is, but I only used it for that.
