Is there any method to root the LG G Vista (At&t)? I have seen many posts about the Verizon version but unfortunately, nothing for (at&t)... Just asking if there is a root out for this phone or will there ever be in the upcoming updates? Thanks. All positive comments/answers are very much appreciated.

I have an LG G3 bought in the uk (international model) and i have been looking through all the plus sides to rooting and installing custom roms, tweak box etc.... But i just want to find out if when the android L update is rolled out will it update as normal without a root and also, what are the chances in something going wrong with the handset (as i don't want to f*ck my phone as you can appreciate) if anybody has rooted and has any feedback PLEASE let me know.

There are different way to root the LG G3.
Read here about it: How to Root the LG G3 – XDA Developer TV or here: How to root the LG G3.
Usually an offical update from LG will unroot your phone (if your phone was rooted before) ... at least they never come with root.
If you want to get feedbak from users who have already rooted their phones, aks in one of the rooting threads or just in the LG G3 > G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > To root or not to root? thread.
If you have further questions, please ask in the LG G3 > G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
I've been looking all over the internet for a way to update my LG g vista to Lollipop 5.0 AT&T. There is no OTA update yet, so I resorted to doing it myself. Any safe links or sites to be recommended? Thanks in advance...

I'm from francophone country and I bought accidentally lg g2 sprint ls980 zvd (American version I think) on 4.4.2 KitKat that I can't automatically update to lollipop, the phone isn't recognized by lg pc suit and LG Mobile Support Tool is saying that the version I already have is the latest.
So is there any method to manually download and install official lollipop rom on my phone?
I don’t want to install an unofficial one to keep all functions (like video recording for example)
Please help.

Hello sir,
I'm not a developer, just a beginner who need help to solve a problem.
So apparently the LG G Stylo is new to cricket and I've just bought it, so I was wondering if anyone has made a rooting method for the cricket version of the LG G Stylo, if so please comment a link or something, I would be very grateful, if not, is anyone working on it? thank you.

Hi Everyone,
Wanted to know if anyone has already figured out or through a different method, can help me root my phone.
It's an LG phone under GSM technology by TracFone for Walmart Straight Talk service. the Model is "LG l21g" .
It is specifically running Android 5.0.1
I've heard it's best to follow a root process uniquely made for the exact model of your phone. But since TracFones lack much in rooting fame, I'm hoping that there is a safe generic method used to provide basic root access to phones/devices that have the respective OS. For which in my case is version 5.0.1
Also note that although i am new to rooting. I am not new to computers in general. I have searched for quite a while for a way to root my device by model. But finding nothing has lead me to this site, and the closest thing i've found is the CDMA version reference of my model here. Which doesn't quite seem solved.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
