Question about installing a new rom - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

I have a SCH-S968C Straight Talk S3 running off verizon towers. I have installed a d2lte rom before and all went well besides my cell service dropping. I have philz recovery installed, but for the d2lte variant. Can I use that to install a d2vzw rom? Thanks in advance.

Can someone please answer?

Do not attempt to install a d2vzw rom on anything but a d2vzw phone. You will hard brick the phone causing it to be unusable
Installing a d2lte rom should work seeming how it's a d2 variant
From my S3 running BlissStalk

Not true. I've used several d2vzw ROMs and I'm using cm12 d2vzw from mastamoon now

What I said was indeed true. Do not install a rom intended for a d2vzw phone on another variant. It will brick another phone, but d2lte roms should work on any d2/USA variant of the S3

Best explanation: you flashed a T-Mobile rom on the ROM. Both phones are very much alike, but you should still look for one for i747

Change it in build.prop with root explorer

You flashed a wrong ROM. flash a one for your phone and it'll return to normal

I recently flashed slim bean 4.2.2 rom and my model number got changed to I747 from T999. I reflashed it but no help. I tried to flash CM 10.1 but installation aborted.
What do you suggest guys?

Can anybody post anylinks to stable stocks roms running 4.3

I look through the treads but all the ones from 4.1 are showing up

There are no 4.3 stock TW ROMS. They do not exist. Samsung hasn't made 4.3 for our device.

Clean flash it
Just may do that. Pretty sure that I did but now that I think about it I may have only done Cache, Data, and Dalvik.

That would be a clean flash then. Updater script in rom zip wipes system for you.

I'm having problems with cm 4.3 and all other 4.3 roms except eclipse were I lose service and can't send out any text messege .but I can still receive call text and data. Eclipse roms doesn't do that. The only problem it has is when candy crush and pet rescueforce close everything. Any ideal what's going on

TWRP ROMs for the SCH-i925?

Hello I have a SCH-i925 via Verizon. is there any other roms besides the CyanogenMod 10.2 official nightlies? Would they just be modded versions of that? I'm on CyanogenMod 10.2 right now, but have no internet access through the sim card. So I thought I'd start a post to see what TWRP ROMs are available for it.

No, not lost. There is only one forum for the Galaxy Note 10.1 and it covers all versions, except unfortunately, the VZW Note 10.1 (SCH-i925). There are pieces slowly coming out for this device, but alas, not fast enough.
Just to clearify, are you on CM10.2 or on CM11? Cause I have that issue with the sim card on the CM11 nightlies not CM10.2.

Baseband help on Kitkat rom.

CM 10.2 firmware

Which firmware if any is installed with CM 10.2? Build number shows cm_d2vzw, which sound like their custom firmware?
What does d2vzw mean verses VRUCMLF1?
D2vzw is the model, you have a galaxy s3 on Verizon network. The vrbmf1 is your baseband/modem.

Yes I know that I have the MF1 baseband/modem and that is not the same as firmware. how do I see my firmware? I found a flashable MF1 firmware but don't know if I need to flash it.
