New firmware Honor 6 plus

Today i recieved new firmware b147 replacing b142. I downloaded the file on the phone but the installation stops after 10 procent. The same when i try this using the computer.
Anyone else having this problem ? i live in Belgium.

I too have the same problem. I root permissions .... does anyone know where to try the updated firmware that you can install pramite sd card?

@nortac: Since you downloaded the B147 update, would it be possible for you to upload the update? I am on B142 also, but I do not receive this new update. My phone is not rooted and still locked.
As far as I know, to install an update the phone needs to have stock recovery installed!

You will need stock recovery to update and possibly no root.
Can you upload the update file so we can also update to B148. For some reason i am not getting the update.

I have not received anything . I am still the B142 .

I read, that in France a Lollipop test-upgrade is rolling out at the moment.

Just successfully OTA updated to version B147.
57.81 MB download, update took 5 min.
Android still v. 4.4.2.
PE-TL10 international unbranded, bought from Amazon.
No unlock, no root.

Updated both my wifes phone and mine to version B147 with no problems, European versions bought from Amazon Germany......looking forward to Lollipop, would like to become a tester but cant see where to do that.

I´ve heard, that this requires an account to hihoner-club

Just received this morning B305 update (1.05GB): Lollipop + EMUI 3.1.
I'm based in Italy and bought the phone on Amazon.it a few days ago (I mailed to Honor I wanted to partecipate in beta testing as per their Facebook page).

B305 is the beta 5.1.1 firmware for the European honor 6 plus.

Unfortunately, I'm going to send back the device to Amazon. Too big for me.
From what I've seen so far, the update looks promising. EMUI has a few aesthetic improvements (in my opinion).

I do not know what that is, but you are probably looking for that:

If your model is a european device, than I would suggest, you install B142 and than wait for the B147 OTA update.

Just received OTA for Wind Mobile in Canada, no issues and runs smooth

This update bumped up the version of the GPU driver as well from 137 to 140 as per stats chrome:\\GPU
Wonder what improvements or bug fixes it brings

The update is only for india and Canada right now.

I did get the OTA update on my french XT1562, but I don't have wifi where I am, so I clicked 'NO' to not update. And now when I check for updates, there's no more OTA available

Honor 8 Frd-L09C185 Ota update query

Hello Fellow Members,
I have bought this phone 2 months back from Abu Dhabi when I was there for vacations. The phone variant as mentioned above is Frd-L09C185. Now I am back in India (Mumbai). I am a bit confused with the OTA updates part. My query is now that I am here will I get the OTA meant for Indian Variant or the EU Variant ( I guess that's what L09 belongs to). Secondly if me suppose to receive the updates for the European Variant will I receive them here in India. I want my phone to be updated to the latest version. My current version is FRD-L09c185B102 where is guess B102 is the os version. Request all you experienced guys to please help clear my query. Thanks in advance.

I think its middle east variant. You won't get Indian version update. As India has FRD-02.

So is there no way to update phone over OTA? I don't wanna do it manually as I don't wanna take a risk of damaging it. I am currently on B102 OS version and when I try to update it I am told there are no updates available. So if my phone is from middle east can't it be updated in India?

You will receive the Nougat update. But it will take more months to reach you are you are in Middle East version (Less prioritized)

Seems that your region got the Bet update version today.
If you are enrolled in Beta, you would have got it - http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1278/g104/v68848/f1/full/update.zip
You can try with Charles trick to update this one.

ok. Did you receive this update after coming down to India or while you were in Abu Dhabi?
I had received this update - B130 immediately after the purchase in Dubai in Dec 2016 and after that havent received any update.

Try this don´t worry

Tried the Charles app method.. Quite a few times. The update was just 1.39 GB not the 2.2 gb because of which The update failed and dint try there after. Guess will now have to wait for the official push(sigh). I have no issues with EMUI 4.1 currently and in fact quite happy with it. Just bcos of the eagerness to upgrade don't want to brick the phone, especially since Huawei doesn't have international warranty policy.

Is vote support extended by Huawei to honor 8 FRD-L09 model? I am in India and would love to have the volte feature. As of now on LTE is available. Had read somewhere that VOLTE would be soon provided via software update. Also heard that Indian variant FRD-02 has received the VOLTE support

Hey Sanjay! I am Vivek. I live in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Did you really got the official OTA for Nougat? I bought my 6x like 3 weeks back. I read that a lot of people have manually flashed the update from Firmware Finder and ended up having many problems. I didnt wanted to take any risk and was waiting for the OTA.
I am shocked and happy to know that someone from my country has already got the OTA. So I guess, I will be getting it soon too right?

Hey vivek , I did not manually update my phone and I am sure its not beta either , because I am not registered for their beta program . So , you can expect the official OTA soon.

Help needed please with phone update

Hello all respected members im using an honor 6x huawei which I purchased recently but the problem is that I have not yet gotten the Nougat update on it iam current on EMUI: 4.1.3 and android 6.0 build number is BLN-L21C185B140. Now I am thinking to update it through the firmware finder app but I dont know which update to download for my phone the firmware version thing gets confusing for me as I dont know whether to download the same firmware version as shown in my about phone description or different if different kindly please tell me which one should I download to get my phone on EMUI:5.1 and android 7.0

Just look for BLN-L21 firmware ending with 360 or 361.

Just register your phone through HiCare and wait a couple of days. Push updater once in a while. Why use firmware finder ?
