I rooted the phone yesterday, and today i cant connect to pc via usb. The charging indicator on the phone shows up (though it discharges), but the pc doesn't even recognized that it's attached. Tried on multiple pcs to no advance. Usb was working before root and after root til today. Someone please help me.:crying:

d2203, but it turns out the boot.img i used is what caused the problem
Just root your phone with that boot.img then flash stock boot.img you will lose cwm but still have root.

Back in Feb i was suscessuful on installing all_in_one_odin_ep4d. My pc pick up the USB connection and i was able to get the com 3 on odin.
Now i'm tryin to bring phone back to factory. and having issues getting the usb connection. i have the samsung drivers.
I also tried on 2 other laptops and no USB.
I also tried the SDCard patch and not sure if i did that right ??

If cwm is installed use the cwm factory zip to restore to stock

I was trying to use a USB extension cable and it wouldn't work. Then I tried it without the extension and it works fine.
Tried different usb plug connection , tried different wire nothing..
I have ROM Manager
Can i use that ?

hi my infuse 4g have a problem connecting with the computer and i have a rom that can`t intall cwm recovery but i want to to change that rom but i can use odin because the cellphone connection is broken he charge but not connect to the computer how can i do to install cwm is my question thanks...

This is my first time answering this question.
OK- it's my first time answering this question today. It sounds like your phone is charging from the computer which means a good connection. Go here and get the Infuse drivers ( hit bigjoe's "thanks" button) http://d-h.st/sKF , install them. See if your computer recognizes your phone... let me know and we'll take it from there.

Having the same thing. Sorry to disappoint you but your infuse usb controller is broken. Mine only charges and does nothing else, for almost 4 months now. I got used to it, because im not living in the us and have no way of returning it. Im lucky that i have the best rom ever, and the Red Recovery works so i can flash stuff that i transfer via WiFi or BT.
Put phone into download mode. Connect phone to pc. Use Samsung kies mini to download drivers. It should recognize now. Then do your Odin thing lol.
Also check your USB cable and try different USB slots. I use one USB cable strictly for charging. And the other for PC connection.

Hello
Just a few days ago, my HTC Pico (Explorer) stopped connecting to my PC.
It still keeps on charging but the connection-selector screen stopped showing up every time I connect it to the PC.
The last time it worked was before I connected the cable in bootloader mode (I was trying to root my phone).
I selected fastboot, pressed the power button and then connected the usb to PC when suddenly the PC started to install a "Android 1.0" driver.
It failed, and I got a "Device malfunctioned" message.
I powered down my phone, booted in normal mode, and connected it again to the PC, but my PC didn't recognize my phone.
I've tried all the basic troubleshooting tips like pulling out the battery, checking and double-checking the physical connections.
I even re-installed my USB port drivers of my computer. But the problem is still not fixed.
Everything was working perfectly until I connected the phone in bootloader mode. Did the malfunction had something to do with that?
My USB cable is working perfectly. The phone keeps on charging like a normal charger.
Has this happened to anyone else? A little advice would be greatly appreciated.

Though I didn't need to install the whole platform....just installed the HTC Drivers from /Data.
Successfully rooted my phone. Thanks once again.
Hey guys I connected my phone to pc via usb but when i click on the connect button it is just loading and then back to the same screen.
Is it the problem of custom rom as i am having a little problem with that?
Please reply fast.

And I had it all ready but it seems like i can't connect to my PC
I mean it's charging and all but it's not connecting

And I installed the drivers
Which btw aren't showing in the Device Manager (If they're even suppose to...)
