Freezing on incoming call - AT&T LG G3

This has happened a number of time using both Dalvik and ART.
Phone rings, I try and answer by swiping the green button, the phone gives a little vibrate and stops ringing but nothing else happens. It still looks like I have not answered the call. No other buttons will work and I have to do a long press power button restart.
Searching shoes similar behavior on other Android phones eg. Nexus and others.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Seems I am the only one experiencing this. I did a hard reset and that still did not fix the problem.
Checking voice messages the other day I had a similar freeze up.
Replacement G3 on the way from AT&T. This will be number 4!

Can't always answer phone calls!!!

I held off from posting this, because I can't seem to find a reason why it's happening.
Basically, I'll get a phone call. I'm close to the phone, and have no problem answering it immediately. But maybe 3 out of 7-8 calls, I can't answer it. It'll just keep ringing until the calling party gets my voicemail. I hit the green phone button, the left menu button (for answer), even the word "answer" on the bottom of the touch screen itself. No matter what I do, the call will not pick up. Keep in mind, there is no Bluetooth involved. If I do happen to have a bluetooth earpiece on, I can hear the call ringing in the earpiece, but pressing the action button doesn't pick up the call like it should.
I'm at my wits end here. What could possibly be causing this?

Is your memory getting junky? I presume that the call application takes a lot of memory that it got full and had nothing left to take your response back Im not sure though. Do you ever get complaints like no signs of an Incomming call when people call you? I get it sometimes and still exploring to find a solution.

Carty..
The only 3rd party app I have installed is Opera Mobile. I only run it when I need it, and always use the "exit" option. I keep my phone as fresh as possible by killing unnecessary apps. The only things that stay open are my threaded message chat and Outlook.
As for your missed call (straight to voicemail), this happens to everyone not on 3g. For some reason, voice calls will not go through when there is net access. I don't know why this phone can't prioritize. My BB Pearl had no problem with that. If I was loading a webpage, it would simply pause the download and the phone would ring. Not sure, but maybe it has something to do with EDGE. I don't think the Treo 750 has EDGE capability...
The 750 definetly has EDGE, but it's usually CDMA phones with 1x that have the issue of not being able to take a phone call while transfferring data. It does sound like you could have another lemon 750 on your hands.

My experience wasn't as bad as yours. It just took a very long time between seeing the ringing icon and the time the phone actually rings, and then a long time between pressing the answer button and the time the call started.
I upgraded to WM6 and from the few calls I received since it appears the problem is now resolved and the 750 behaves like a normal phone.
Hope this helps.

I am having the same problem if you come up with a fix please let me know. the only thing I found that helps is to make your phone ring longer to give you a better shot at answering. here is a link to this fix

[Q] Motorola Charm Touch Screen Bug

Hi there, good afternoon.
Im having a very strange problem with my cellphone, that is very difficult to describe.
First, the problem only happens in the call screen.
After tapping at the dialer keyboard, the touch screen input goes crazy and keep pressing the keys by himself, completely random.
Also, the problem arises when receiving calls, ending the calls automatically.
All the random pressing happens in the "End call" area, which is very weird.
The phone is most unusable now since calling is a priority.
I have no on how to procede or where to download a new rom to flash.
Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Dialer freezes randomly and won't end call

Well my dialer seems to freeze and it won't let me end a call, this happens at random times. I try pressing the red End Call button but it just looks like im pressing it but it doesn't end the call. I can press the home button but the call is still active and I could press the power button but that only turns off the screen with the call active. I have to press the button like a million times before it finally responds and hangs up. This has happened multiple times and I was wondering if there was anyone else out there with this problem. It has happened with any and all roms I used for an extended period of time. I am currently on Victory Rom.

Yes this has happened to me also on occasions recently. I have to go to applications and force close the dialer. Ever since that Google Play Services has installed my phone has been having some weird problems
Try going into settings>manage apps and find the dialer or phone and clear data...

Nexus 5 - screen locks when call starts

I am having an issue with my Nexus 5 - as soon as a call starts (doesn't matter who calls who) the screen locks and I cannot do anything. Which is quiet annoying as I have to wait for my operator to terminate the call if the other person is not answering; when I need to choose an option and press a key, etc. I cannot even end the call, the other person has to do it. the only thing I can do is actually turn it off with the power button.
Anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas what can be done?
Thanks.

Can't Answer Calls After 12.1.3 Update

My Mi Note 10 updated to Android 11 with MIUI 12.1.3 and now when I get an incoming call, sliding up the button to answer the call doesn't work. The button sides up, the screen goes black for a few seconds, then the green button appears again, and sliding it up does nothing.
Someone else I know who has the Mi Note 10 had the same happen to them a few times.
Anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas how to fix it?
I should add that it's not just on the phone, but today I couldn't answer from my car's screen either. Pressing the Answer button on the car's screen could not make the Note answer the call.
I don't have the update yet, but often issues after updating can sometimes be fixed after resetting your phone.
A clean install is generally more stable than an updated one, so it's worth a try.
Good luck,
Oliver

And working?
I just reset all the data, keeping my fingers crossed it fixes the problem.
Thanks!
Sadly, it keeps happening. It seems random, but about 40% of the time I keep hitting the answer button in the notification on top of the screen and nothing happens.
Or, the green Answer button will appear at the bottom of the screen, but when I slide it up, the screen goes blank and then the green button appears again. The call never gets answered.
Similarly, when I dial out, many of the calls would ring once and then it cuts off.
It's really frustrating. I am using Google-Fi.
The same is happening with me.
It happens when you're not connected to the wifi. It's a bug related to mobile data, when the mobile data is turned on you cannot receive calls neither decline them.
I have tried clearing data of dialer app, but it only works for a little time, then the bug again starts to act up.
The main bug is only for when you try to recieve or decline the call with sliding, you can answer the call from notification shade.
Solution: A temporary solution i found is when you're getting a phone call, turn off you mobile data then you can answer the call.
