167. To unlock a Samsung turn the phone off take the SIM card and type the following code *#pw+15853649247w# .

Put your other SIM in and it will say SIM lock, type in 00000000 then it should be unlocked. Type in *0141# then the green call button and it’s unlocked to all networks. This code may not work on the older phones and some of the newer phones. If it doesn’t work you will have to reset your phone without a SIM in it by typing *#2767*2878# or *#9998*3855#

*2767*3855# Full factory reset (Don't dial it does not ask you to confirm unless you have problem)
*#0*# To check the various hardware components of your Samsung Galaxy S5
Find and enjoy in your code :highfive:
I wanted to know if by chance you know what this 9. Smiley: *#9125# code does? I would greatly appreciate it if you could enlighten me with an answer because it has been bugging me ever since I first discovered it and I would rather not risk trying it on my phone since it is my primary phone.

I have a Dolphin 9900 handset which runs WM 6.1. Each day at 12:00PM and 12:00AM the device turns on automatically. There are no e-mail accounts setup on this device. I have tried to disable Direct Push, assuming that's the reason for its issue, but nothing has worked. I have tried the following:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\Remin ders\AutoSnooze]
"AutoSnoozeMins"=dword:0
HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D65A239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}
set value "Options" to 20000000 (hexadecimal) or 536870912 (decimal)
And the steps found here:
The Exchange Security Policy (4131) updates the device policy:
HKLM\Security\Policies\00001023: 0 = Enabled; 1 = Disabled
To change the inactivity timer:
HKLM\Comm\Security\Policy\LASSD\AE\{50C13377-C66D-400C-889E-C316FC4AB374}\
AEFrequencyType: 0 = No inactivity time; 1 = Activity time enable
AEFrequencyValue: = number of minutes before timeout
To change the password strength policy:
HKLM\Comm\Security\Policy\LASSD\LAP\lap_pw\
MinimumPasswordLength: minimum number of characters in password (0 defaults to 1)
PasswordComplexity: 0 = Require Alphanumeric; 1 = Require numeric (PIN); 2 = No restriction
And finally to change the Device wipe settings:
HKLM\Comm\Security\Policy\LASSD\
DeviceWipeThreshold: -1 = disabled; (any positive number) = # failed attempts before device memory gets whacked
CodewordFrequency: # of attempts before a codeword is displayed to prevent accidental device wipe.
None of these steps worked as the device still turns on at 12:00 each time. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Hopefully these will be useful if someone messed up theirs. Eventually after I update/root I will post any changes.

Awesome thanks!
Swyped from my EVO via XDA app
When you root your PRI will roll back to 1.34
There is quite a few obvious entries that are missing on a rooted evo with 4g working.
Hmm
Interesting
James
added wimax data settings after applying OTA update
Thanks for this, it was a big help!
I had screwed with some settings and ended up not remembering what they were
Can some post the screen shots/info for the other settings under data plz, looking for default unmodified ones.
I thought these were the default unmodified settings?

I would recommend flashing whitslacks rooted oem to make sure all the radios and such are up to date.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=715915
Once its all working from there, then you can try out other roms if you desire.

Just FYI: If you change the WIMAX_scan_attempt_Timeout - the only valid entries are 5-300, so you won't be able to restore the default value of "1"
updated with froyo OTA defaults
only change noticed was
wimax_scan_retrys = 120 (from 300)
...and the update resets all values that were manually changed.
Question: How would the MN HA SPI Set and MN AAA SPI Set values be changed from Enable (stock) to Disable? I was checking speed downloads tonight on my Evo and my wife's and noticed are settings are different, but I didn't change my values manually something else did... All other settings are consistent.
Both phones are rooted and running MikFroyo 4.5.
I tried to google what those settings are even for, but didn't have much luck. Any help would be appreciated.
Question: What are the MN HA SPI Set and MN AAA SPI Set values for?
I was comparing download speeds on my wife's Evo and mine tonight after the latest PRL update and noticed our settings are different.
Her phone shows both values as Enable and mine show Disable. I have no idea how mine got changed.
I tried to google search but didn't find anything helpful. Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: Both of our phones are rooted and currently running MikFroyo 4.5.
Is there a way to disable 4G? My 4G keeps turning itself on and I *DONT* want it on EVER AGAIN.
SOLVED: Chaged 4G MAC to 00:00:00:00:00:00 and now it doesn't connect and after a few attemps it idles. Still haven't checked how much the battery drains... Another solution is to change the RSA key just 1 character will make it not connect. (both the MAC & RSA keys can be edited in wimax.img)
I tired finding a thread to my second question but was unsuccessful again so here it is.
Does anyone know the galaxy S 4G Service Codes??? Thanks!

Nearly all of these codes don't work on my sgs4g... Im running GB 2.3.5 ROM with KJ1 kernel. Does that make a difference?

Is anyone else having trouble getting these to work on kangakat or kit Kat in general? I had them working fine in kangabean and used it to diagnose a miscalibrated proximity sensor (that I then was able to reset)
Thank you for the list.
I'm on an att business account and have the ability to dial *data# to get a data usage report via sms. Thanks for the list!
How bout giving him a thanks on the forums lol...
mf3 rooted SHOstock 2.3
USSD codes are either carrier-specific or phone-specific.
However, my understanding is that the catch is that phone-specific means the stock ROM, not just the physical phone. So if you're running another ROM, phone-specific USSD codes may not work.
I've got CM 10.1.3, and I have not found a single phone-specific USSD code that works.
Cool
Thanks For Sharing Sir

Sir,
I Need Your Help *#8736364# OTA Update Menu On AT&T S4
I Am In INDIA .. I Can't Update My Phone Via OTA Because I Unlocked My AT&T S4..
If I Change Any Setting On OTA Update Menu After I Will Get Update ?
Please Please Please
Actually for some reason I can't get the majority of the codes to work on my 2 Galaxy S4s, which are running on 4.2.2 and 4.4.2 respectively. I was particularly interested in the factory reset codes because of some ongoing demo work in current Android vulnerabilities, but similarly there is no response from the dialler after entering the code.
Factory reset codes do not work, as well, on my S4 mini 9195 with 4.2.2.
Anybody knows working codes, or we should use Settings - Accounts - Backup and reset, or Recovery Mode reset option?
Nice.
It should be noted that a lot of them won't work on certain modems. When I went to mk2, I was locked out of service mode. So i have been using MDL modem to have access to more codes.
For instance running mk2 modem, when I would try *#9090# menu back, menu back, menu back, key input 1. My phone would reboot every time. Now on MDL modem. I have access again. The were other codes that did the same don't remember them.
Seems att/Samsung locked you out after each modem update.

Not so good
Hi
Sorry to tell you that most of these codes don't work on my GT-I9505.
The phone has a rooted stock ROM.
