Asking for help from Shield controller owners.
Have you updated the software for the controller? Is the controller still working after the update?
I updated my controller when prompted last two weeks, and it went wonky. RMA'd it and got a new replacement today, and afraid to update it again.
The notification is killing me, really.
No problem when mine did the update.

thank you for your reply.
may I please know when did you update it? i contacted nvidia and they are aware of this issue since they have seen a few reports on it. they recommend to skip this update and wait until the update for the tablet is released. the update for the controller should follow closely afterwards.
Within the last week - week and a half. Did the update right after getting Android 5.0 installed.

I apologize if this has been asked before, I tried googling an answer! I swear! Basically I got my Transformer today and updated to 3.1 while it was not docked through the OTA update. Then I plugged in my dock expecting another update to come through, but when I hit check for updates, I am told that there is nothing to update. How do I get my dock up update or is it already updated? Thanks!
I've had my US WiFi Xoom for about a week now and I still haven't received the 3.1 update let alone the 3.2. Is there a reason its taking so long?

I take it you are completely stock, because if you weren't you would already be on 3.2 with Team Tiamat most likely. How often do you check for updates? You really should just keep trying, or root and flash the update manually. I thought the 3.2 Wifi updates were done rolling out. You really should have gotten it by now...
mate i heard of trying to change your date and time to like a week later than now (obviously turn off network time, etc) and reboot... try it a couple of times... as i had that problem and it worked and im halfway around the world from where the tablet from =]

I thought about saying that, but I figured the update should be widely available by now since they have had plenty of time to roll it out, but that's worth a shot regardless.
US wifi here, I just got my 3.2 update a few days ago, almost a month after it was released I believe. I'm not gonna installi it because i'm rooted but it sure is tempting to try
I updated a week or so ago per the OTA sent out. I have since had problems with all of my bluetooth headsets cutting out and then completely not working during phone calls. My phone is basically useless when connected to my car's bluetooth. I have reset my phone back to factory twice with the hopes that would solve my problem. Is there a fix for this problem or should I just have Verizon send me a new phone under warranty?
Thanks in advance!

There have been some known issues with bluetooth and 4.4 which Moto will hopefully fix in the 4.4.3 update soon. Might want to wait for that instead.

Any idea of how long of a wait that will be? I'm not sure I'm patient enough to go weeks waiting on them to put out an update.
Thanks for your response!

It's probably going to be a few weeks- hopefully, say, mid-July. That's what I would bet on. David Schuster of Motorola announced a few weeks ago that the Droids would get 4.4.3. He previously announced that it takes 4-8 weeks to go through carrier testing and approval. An I suspect that Motorola will push the 4.4.3 update to all of the Moto X models in the US first, and so far only unlocked Moto X phones have 4.4.3.

Streaming stops randomly at a certain time, I've resetted it but that didn't help.
Yes I am having this problem too. I have raised the issue with nvidia and twitch but not heard back from either.
This is a big problem for me as I stream nightly but now fed up of having to restart it every 35:42. Not sure who is to blame but I know the update has caused the problem as it was fine on 5.1.1. I hope who ever has to fix it does it quick.

I have this problem too!
I have upgraded my SHIELD Tablet K1 to Marshmallow once opened from its box, so I can't tell if it's an another bug of the Marshmallow update, but I think that this bug is because of this update....

Ok... happy to see your feedback, thanks
I wonder if I stay with Marshmallow and wait a fix from NVIDIA or if I downgrade to Lollipop..
In case anyone still has this problem, Ive talked to someone and it will be fixed in the next OTA

Hello. I just received a new OTA, dav-703lc233b212_b229. I thought the b212 was the last one. Anybody else?
Received it this morning, haven't installed it yet.
anyone dares/wants to try out? /p8max
Last update f-uped my phone..
Seems to work
The last update broke all Google apps. Nonetheless I gave this one a go this morning. So far so good, android 6 with Dec 2018 update. An update that worked was long overdue!
Not noticed any differences yet, nothing appears to be broken
cool :good::highfive:
but whats better now? its not an android version upgrade,,just UI fixes? How could the phone go up on android os version?
Thanks!
Ditto.
Received, did not install, maybe never will, based on the last negative experience mentioned above/below.
but still interested if anyone installs it

Is the update still OK? It is nagging me to install but I don't want to degrade the phone like last time.
