[Q] Trouble updating dock after installing 3.1 update. - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I apologize if this has been asked before, I tried googling an answer! I swear! Basically I got my Transformer today and updated to 3.1 while it was not docked through the OTA update. Then I plugged in my dock expecting another update to come through, but when I hit check for updates, I am told that there is nothing to update. How do I get my dock up update or is it already updated? Thanks!

[Q] Got my KB...TF at 8.2.3.13 KB at EP101-207

I see that I'm behind on the KB firmware update...some folks are on the 209 version.
I also have the "keyboard disabled" bug happening every two sentences....total lock up until I remove the TF from the keyboard.
Also...I just turned the TF off and back on while docked...and it's stuck on the EEE Pad/ Asus logo...for 10 minutes.....

Remove the transformer from the dock to let it boot up. That is fixed with the new firmware, as are the disconnect issues. The fix is of course to update to the latest firmware on the transformer and the dock.
Human,
Ok....I'm getting the firmware update now...it's weird that it didn't say I had an update but only down at the bottom of the screen where the notifications are....I had a "caution" sign and when i touched it it said that an update was available.
That seems like it cured the issue....thanks Asus!
I feel like everybody who's gotten this update is the people who has the keyboard dock
no dock here, and i got the .13 update. hmmm...

.13 update is the system software. EP101-207/209 is the firmware for the dock

Last Nights Bugfix Update. Anyone taken it yet?

http://www.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-tab-7-plus-gets-bugfix-update#comments
I tend to avoid software updates unless they are really necessary. Anyone done this one yet? See anything new?
I'll download the update this afternoon in between classes and will come back if I notice anything that is worth mentioning. would do it now but I need it for my class in a little while and from what that page says the update takes a while.
Well strangely enough I'm at school and it's saying there is no update so I'll do it later tonight.
It says no update available for me

I'm thinking this is the update we received two weeks or so ago via kies.

False alarm for me. What I thought was a firmware update was actually a kies update since I looked at it too quick before leaving this morning. Nor wonder I couldn't find the update at school...
the update keeps on popping up for me, but I am skeptical. Haven't touched it yet and I think if it's not ICS, I'll pass

(Q) HE Update

Just wondering if anyone else that was on the HD update have not got the new HE update... Ive been checking since it came out and my wifes phone got the HE update but mine has yet to get it? It keeps telling me that theres no new update..
Updates are sent out in segments, not everyone gets them at the same time and can take a few weeks or more to get to everyone.

I had a problem getting the updates. I had to go back to factory and wait at least a day and a half before I got the update. So, if you been rooted before it migt just take a day or so before you get it. I hope this make sense.

[Q] Shield Controller Software Update

Asking for help from Shield controller owners.
Have you updated the software for the controller? Is the controller still working after the update?
I updated my controller when prompted last two weeks, and it went wonky. RMA'd it and got a new replacement today, and afraid to update it again.
The notification is killing me, really.
No problem when mine did the update.

thank you for your reply.
may I please know when did you update it? i contacted nvidia and they are aware of this issue since they have seen a few reports on it. they recommend to skip this update and wait until the update for the tablet is released. the update for the controller should follow closely afterwards.
Within the last week - week and a half. Did the update right after getting Android 5.0 installed.

New OTA B229?

Hello. I just received a new OTA, dav-703lc233b212_b229. I thought the b212 was the last one. Anybody else?
Received it this morning, haven't installed it yet.
anyone dares/wants to try out? /p8max
Last update f-uped my phone..
Seems to work
The last update broke all Google apps. Nonetheless I gave this one a go this morning. So far so good, android 6 with Dec 2018 update. An update that worked was long overdue!
Not noticed any differences yet, nothing appears to be broken
cool :good::highfive:
but whats better now? its not an android version upgrade,,just UI fixes? How could the phone go up on android os version?
Thanks!
Ditto.
Received, did not install, maybe never will, based on the last negative experience mentioned above/below.
but still interested if anyone installs it

Is the update still OK? It is nagging me to install but I don't want to degrade the phone like last time.
