Now that Remote Play is available on all rooted devices would it be possible to do the same on a PC that is emulating Android?
I think it would be awesome to be able to Remote play on my PC rather than my phone. Better battery life, bigger screen, and just overall more convenient.
Is this a possibility? Sorry I didn't know where to post this.

Ok, here is my situation. I am looking for a way to control my tablet from my phone. My objective is to be able to change from my phone what is being played on the backseat of my car on my honeycomb tablet. Those of you with childs will surely understand.
Any one knows a program to do so? All I can find searching are remote controllers for PCs.
I'm looking for a remote keyboard to use for pc gaming. I've tried Unified Remote on World of Warcraft but only some buttons work.
Does anyone know of any alternatives?
Preferably as a 360 Controller emulated if possible, for easy compatibility. This thing begs to be used as a PC controller, and I know it does with the official streaming app, but what about for emulators and older games? Is there already a viable solution for this? Wi-fi/Bluetooth would be nice, but I'm not above using USB.

from what I heard via the dev that worked on the project Microsoft gave resistance in in allowing the wifi controller.
If I had to take a guess this would be because the new controllers for XBOX one will use that connection method as microsoft was not happy.
Just a guess here from what I heard
Just like how there are virtual keyboard and mouse apps for phones, there's not really any reason why you couldn't use a Shield as a virtual controller, running software on both the device and the PC.
I've been searching for awhile now, and can't find what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a local multiplayer game that you play on PC and android devices simultaneously. An example would be a card game where each person's hand would be on their phone, and the card table would be on the PC where every body could see. I have my PC connected to my TV, so something like this would be awesome for when we have people over. They could communicate through either WiFi, or Bluetooth. I know there are a few games like this that uses Chromecast, but I have no need for that considering my computer is connected to my TV already. Does anybody know if games like this exist? If not..why not!? Thx in advance for any feedback.
Well man i guess you can use an android emulator on pc such as bluestacks or something...search for it and read about it
Hey everyone!
I just installed the Andyroid emulator for the sole purpose of trying to use the PS Remote Play app on my PC.
Does anyone know if I somehow can connect a controller to the emulator?
By linking the controller via the PC through to the emulator?
Or maybe someone knows of another emulator that works better with controllers like this?
Or better yet, maybe someone knows of a better way to get Remote Play on PC?^^
