[Q] How to generate nvram database (the BPLGUInfoCustomAppSrcP file) ? - General Questions and Answers

Hello,
Any of the nvram db files I found on the internet are being rejected by Maui meta 3g ("nvram database file is inconsistent with target load").
I hence tried to generate my own nvram db with MTK droid tools, but the only file it gives me that approaches the size of those db file is an "nvram.bin". Which isn't either accepted by Maui meta ("execution failure initialize nvram database file").
So where do these BPLGUInfoCustomAppSrcP files come from, initially?
(My initial problem being that I Formatted NVRAM using SP Flash Tool and lost IMEI on my Jiayu G4S).
Thanks in advance.

Just install the TWRP you can find it here. I hope you know how to install it.
Then enter to TWRP recovery holding "volume up " + restart the phone. From TWRP you can make NVRAM backup copy.

[Q] IMEI has gone after wipe

Hello, I have a jiayu G3T ( G3QCT ) with JB Android 4.2.1 installed , but yesterday it occurred to me to look for a custom rom 4.2.2 , I downloaded the rom, and follow the instructions ( wipe data / factory reset wipe cache && && wipe dalvik ) then install the new rom, everything seems to be right , but when the phone rebooted , I noticed that said " INVALID IMEI " and did not detect the SIM card ...
I have no backup of the IMEI ( if I have the sticker underneath the battery)
I reinstalled the rom I had before jiayu , which comes standard rooted ,I have tried uncle tools and the application of jiayu , I entered the engineer mode so I went to connectivity CDS information Radio information, phone 1 & 2 wrote 2 lines (one for each option )
AT + EGMR = 1.7, " IMEI "
AT + EGMR = 1.10 , " IMEI "
but when you click on send command says " command failed to send, even after pressing repeatedly says " command was mSent " but on reboot, nothing has changed, and the IMEI is still not valid .
I tried the mtkdroidtools but says it was all right , the result is the same, nothing changes
I also tested the MAUI META 3G & IMEI and SN WRITER but I have not gotten any results ...
Someone could tell me how to fix it? thanks
I'd suggest you re flash stock rom using SP Tools, then use SN Gen to create a MP0B_001 file. Then place the generated file on your SD card, use root explorer, copy the file you have placed on the SD card and move it to /data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI/, and set the file's permission to rw-rw----.
Then reboot and enjoy.
stock rom
and where i cant get that stock rom? could you link it to me?

I see that the website is in Spanish, so I may interpret the files incorrectly.
I'm gonna presume that you have already downloaded and installed the required MTK VCOM Drivers, and the device's drivers which are also given on the website. Install both if you haven't already.
I see there is a scatter loading file present under the downloads. Download the scatter loading and the latest ROM. Extract both the ROM files and the Scatter Loading file to a same single folder. Then use SPFlashtool and select the scatter loading file from the extracted folder, and check ALL the boxes.
Then remove the battery from your phone, connect the phone to the PC, and click "Download" on SP Flash Tool. After it finishes, you should see a box with a green circle, which indicates the flashing was successful.
After that, put the MP0B_001 file on your SD card, and follow the steps given by me on post #2.
And don't forget to hit thanks if I have helped. =]

They want to just rip money off you.. All MTK devices have only that one way of restoring device's IEMI which I have listed above., as far as I know.
You can try doing the following (This is just speculation, I have never tried this but it MAY work, as a MP0B_001 file and a backup generated by Mobileuncle MTK tools have the same output when opened via a text editor.)-
After generating an IEMI file, open it using Notepad. Then copy everything written in it, make a new notepad file and paste it there. Save that file as "IEMI.bak" file, and put that in your sd card.
Then install Mobileuncle MTK tools from Play Store, give it root access and go to IEMI backup/restore option. You should find your saved backup there. Hit restore from SD card, and pray that it works.
If it doesn't work, then I'm sorry. Send the phone over to your manufacturer if all else fails.

Assuming you have rooted your phone...
First of all turn on your wifi from settings.
Go-to About > Status (under settings) and Find out MAC address of your device (It looks like xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx)
Turn off WiFi adapter on your phone.
Run Total Commander App on your device or you can use any kind of Root explorer.
Navigate to root/data/nvram/APCFG/APRDEB and copy a file named
WIFI to your SD then computer ( I am using WIFI transfer so do not need to copy it to my own SD)
Now open that File in Hex Editor
Navigate to First Row Column number 4 to 9 insert your MAC address as per step 2.
Now over save the file and save it on same path (overwrite it)
Reboot your phone and check your WIFI by Turning it on. If you want to skip this all steps then just download Repaired WIFI file from below but we will be not responsible if any damage this file cause to your Android device.
Source: = ProtechLover
While opening the file in hex edit, the number of columns are available is 8, then how i change the 9 th column.

Need a qcn file for MI 4 LTE-CU PLEASE

Hey guys,
Does anybody have a qcn back-up file for the MI 4 LTE-CU?
I need it very bad. I flashed wrong modem firmware and now my nvram (12, 13, 16th partition) is corrupted . I have no IMEI, baseband and cellular info.
Hope someone can help me.
Ruud
Try Qualcomm IMEI Writer or QPST tools.
I tried them both but I need a qcn file complete. I do not know how to write a complete qcn file myself.
If I can get a similar qcn file from the same device I can change the IMEI into my own using QPST and a heximal IMEI converter.

Is it the LTE FDD version of MI4? I tried to flash it using QPST but no success so far.
It can not reset NVram it says. Complaining about incompatible model number.
Thanks for your help! I going to examine the file later this week and then give it another try. Probably coming weekend.
Greetings
It works!! Finally I got it. I used XVI32 writer to change the IMEI in the above qcn file. With Qfil I was able to restore the adopted qcn file.
Many thanks for sharing, Yingice!!

Nokia 3 build number and serial number lost

Hello,
so I accidentally flashed Nougat through SPF Tools and choose format all + download, so I lost both serial numbers and also Build number..
I searched all over the forums and found multiple threads here and there, but the problem is I don't have original serial number, I've searched in the phone box and found nothing.. I cannot open bootloader nor flashing TWRP through SPFT works..
Any idea how I can retrieve build number back?
NVM, I fixed it. If anyone had this problem you can contact me.

When you open the firmware folder there is another folder in it called extra files. In that there are 2 files named nvram and proinfo. You have to flash those files too.
ibb. * co/y0c5fJs
You have to change android scatter file in the main folder. Open android scatter file and search for nvram Just change file_name : nvram.bin and is_download : true as shown in the image. Then search for proinfo (proinfo.bin) and do the same. Then copy both nvram.bin and proinfo.bin to main folder While flashing, only uncheck preloader and flash everything as Download only .

P.S. : I was having a problem (error :2004). But it was solved after I updated my phone to android pie.
But after the flash my phone was not starting. It was just vibrating after every couple of seconds, and the same error kept showing up when I tried to flash the files again.
turns out that the problem was the Download-Agent. So I changed that and the flashing went perfectly.

Which file to flash in SN Flash Tool

Which File to flash in SN Flash Tool, I have AP_DB File as: "APDB_MT6768_S01__W1953", and MD1_DB file as: "MDDB_InfoCustomAppSrcP_MT6768_S00_MOLY_LR12A_R3_MP_V94_4_P48_1_ulwctg_n"
There are no other files in the Firmware related to this.
I download AP_DB Database and for MT6768, these files came in:
APDB_MT6768_S01__W1916
APDB_MT6768_S01__W1916_ENUM
APDB_MT6768_S01__W2006

I want to make sure I flash the correct file, I would be grateful If i would be guided correctly
[Update]: I found the solution on how to successfully flash IMEI after 6 months of trying, I created a new thread on this Topic: Infinix IMEI Fix
