how to get into download mode in china based smartphones can anyone help me

There are many mtk devices, and likely many different ways to do that. If you specify your device make and model number and what you are trying to do, it would help find an answer, or at least somewhere to ask for help.

I bought this RK3066 Android PC on eBay and I am having issues correctly identifying the device so that I can download the appropriate custom ROMs and Kernels (if any).

Hi, recently i bought a Lenovo A316 from China.
I tried to find a custom ROM for this device, to flash with SP flash tool, but I cannot find it on all internet.
Only I have found the Stock ROM (With Chinese APPS and only English and China languages. I need Spanish).
The Stock ROM can be flashed without problems (I have made it and works)
There are a lot of upgrading ROMs in ZIP, but for this, is necessary to have CWM recovery installed.
The problem is that this device have a UBI file system and is not possible to install with MTK droid tools. (I tried but the program doesn't works with this type of file system)
The best solution will be If anybody have a custom rom (In spanish to flash with SP tools) or can port to this model other (I see there is customs ROMS of other models like A390). I also try to use the Android Kitchen but I'm newer and have not obtained any positive result.
I know that is more easy to give away this phone and buy another (my headache should cure) but I'm so pigheaded and never give up.
In this forum there are few questions about similar problems with this model but I don't see a solution at all.
Please, can somebody help me!!

Hello there is a new kind of smartphone
i bought from ebay phone from tec-plus named n94w and i didn't find any kind of roms or recoveries mode for that kind of phone so i have several questions:
1. how do i request a rom or recovery mode for a new device?
2. is there any kind of rom which applies for all device?
