It was my understanding these are 3G only phones, but I see these LTE models for sale. Are they legit? Are these the 2nd Gen? Lastly, to be sure I get the right one, will GSM work for AT&T?
Thank you in advanced!

Yes the LTE models are legit. They are 1gen and the GSM model should work with ATT. Make sure both the device and SIM card are unlocked and compatible before purchase.

Not much at all actually, the biggest differences are the larger screen and front facing speakers. Most of the internal specs are the same. Personally, I would get a Moto G (1 gen) LTE GSM model. As it contains the best of both worlds.

I'm going to be purchasing a Nexus 5 soon, and I will be using it on t mobile. But I was wondering if there was any difference between the one Google sells on their website or the one on t mobiles. Because on t mobiles it costs about $100 dollars more. So if you've purchased one, or know about this please comment. Thank you.

there are only two models of the nexus 5 hardwarewise. d820 for north america and d821 for the rest of the world. there are no carrier specific models as far as i know.

you should get the correct one for your country
but i think you can only purchase the right one, so you shouldn't worry about it. the one from the play store and t-mobile store are the same imho.

yeah it has cdma and gsm hardware and i don't see multiple firmware build numbers out there so there aren't carrier skins and apps.. they all have everything needed for sprint, att, or t-mobile as far as what the phone needs. but maybe only the sprint ones are registered on the sprint network with the imei or whatever. verizon is not supported.
more than this, the modem is the same for both models (d820 and d821)! this is really cool, so i can use the .15 modem in germany and have a better signal. originally this modem was for the d820 (north america). i think the only difference are hardwarebound frequences.

I'm filtering though this And i am assuming your question is " Can i use my VERIZON G3 on ATT's Network?"
The Spec's say it should work if it is unlocked ? I don't really do Verizon phones so i can't for sure say it but it does have the GSM bands to support ATT and the LTE bands. I'm sure there are forums out there with this exact question.
I would like to upgrade my phone soon, but with the Nexus 6 disappointment I have no idea what to. I would like at least 32gb of storage, good camera, and better battery life than the nexus 5. I was looking at the G2, but it has to have 1700/2100 AWS frequencies. Any suggestions?

The N5 is a budget smartphone, and was dirt cheap for what you got. You cant expect every phone out there to follow the same pricing model. I dont know why you think it's disappointing, it's a 2014 smartphone with 2014 specs. It has the same specs as the S5, HTC One M8, G3, but better build quality and performance, and cheaper than all of them. Just wait for the sale that you mentioned, thats an amazing price. And yeah it has the same GPU as the N5 but it is clocked higher, and side by side it is noticeably faster and smoother than the N5 is.
