Except for systemui fc (you should perform a full wipe) I have the same issue with Google Play service when using any Google app, I'll try to fix it later.
Also I don't have a weather app, and when I open it from the weather widget (I would like to adjust its transparency) the app doesn't start.
I had this problem on another ROM and it worked fine flashing Note 4's or S5's weather widget (can't remember), will try later and let you know.

hey itsnt working, the zip is corrupted (cant flash in TWRP) but i fixed it by unzipping and zipping again in 7zip with default settings. then i flashed it and the apps force closes. i think the apps in /system must be in /priv_app and not in /app.
and also, there is two different AudioEffectService.apk and maybe another anomalies.
please check by yourself

I think the problem is in gapps.

After flashing gapps in second boot the volte is not working also the hd icon dissapears.
Also the play services keeps crashing and not able able to sign in the playstore.

Gapps seems to be crashing so provide us the right playstore and services or make it inbuilt.
Also check the volte feature after second boot.

Important Notes:
Mi Camera doesn't offer front camera LED flash option, use another camera app like the integrated Google Camera app.
If a pop-up keeps appearing saying that "Can't get device ID", reboot to TWRP and restore the NVRAM and NVDATA that you made on the second step of installation. If you skipped this step, I can't help you!
If you want to use camera Panorama mode, add this line to your build.prop:
ro.product.manufacturer=XIAOMI

Tried it. Loved it. Now im going to sleep because its 1:00am. Everything worked. CHEERS bye.
I went to sleep at 1:10am with 45% battery and woke up at 9:46am now with 40% battery. My phone was on airplane mode and the wifi also was turned off. With the infinix rom the battery would remain intact or drop by only 1% when not in use.

HDR is useless it takes normal pics. Age and gender detection does not work. Battery life is not so great but you can still get a day full with it. Internet is fast. Magisk does not work when flashing the magisk modules. I will keep posting stay tuned. If you dont mind these little problems/bugs then you must definitely try it. Its a must!

I noticed the HDR mode bug later too. Regarding the other camera special effects (age and gender etc.), maybe they require a compatible hardware.
Magisk and Xposed are not recommended in MIUI ROMs as they are not directly compatible.
Front flash in MI camera works but its always on. Battery drains a bit fast. Beautify options does not seem to work. I needed magisk because of V4A but i maually installed it without magisk and it worked.

Read the previous comment: Camera features can't be guaranteed to work.
Anyway, I have made a MIUI 8 with some of those bugs fixed:
- Xiaomi Services now work
- Hardware video decoder works (partially)
Still not working:
- Fingerprint
- Seemingly fake camera HDR

Yeah, I fixed the Mi Services issues. Coming soon in an update. Working on fixing fake camera HDR too.
Mi Services don't work because in build.prop we have Redmi Note 4. Mi Servers compare our device's IMEI to that of Redmi Note 4 => Mismatch => Server Error! So, altering the build.prop fixes it. I should have listened to you when you told me to change Redmi Note 4 details with those of our device hahahhh

I found something. If you go to settings then at the top when you click my device then -All specs- you will be able to access some hidden settings. For example, if you tap MIUI version a few times you will unlock developper settings whick will be at Additional settings. If you tap android version you know what happens but when you play the game its super easy and impossible to die as you can pass through the marshmallows. If you tap cpu you will be able to send bug reports. If you tap kernel version you will enter CIT and it will write QC TEST on top and you will be able to undergo various tests.

Those are well known features in MIUI ROMs ...
I know about the marshmallow game bug.
It's useless, so don't expect a fix.
Video Player and HDR mode have been fixed (partially at least).
Now the FP is the main and major bug. It might take some time to fix that.
Ive turned off MIUI optimization. Now the phone is a bit better.

Reboot to TWRP
Wipe > Advance Wipe > Dalvik/ART , Cache , System , Cache and Data
Flash ROM
Flash PortPatch.zip
Flash Gapps (ARM > 6.0 > Pico) https://opengapps.org/
Reboot
After Instalation:
Make Google Dialer as Default Phone
- Go to Settings
- Tap the search icon at the top right side
- Search for Phone App
- Select Phone app > Phone

mail app crash. can't install downloaded apps. (package broken).
magisk work fine, can't istall xposed app (mb it will work too)
so i can't use this rom, but great work. i'll w8 for new version

Video Playback? Youtube or Chrome but its working fine for me

Oh i use stock browser, not working for me, Youtube is ok. I try to install another browser like via and uc but it still here.

Added Fix for RIL and Email App!
Any chance of making it work with TB3-710F? I need a newer version than stock 5.0.1 for it to work with Family Link.

Ported by me (first port for mtk6580)
Video flickering fixed (as I have tested in stock browser and in opera and FB)
Ril is fixed (Its fine for me even after reboots only after first boot may take some time)
Multiwindow (enable it in developer options)
Camera video (after first boot stock camera may fc if you tried to record video but it will work with and other camera apps will work too)
For Google dialer app just make it default phone app (settings - search phone app - choose google app and done)

Followed instructions, messaging app constantly crashes. I have latest devbase 7.3 on Note 9 SM-N960F. How to restore previous versions of apps. I wipe dalvik, cache and system, reinstalled devbase but several apps crashing and to use phobe I need to reinstall your ported apps.

Now messaging app works after changing some settings in app info menu All other apps working, but I am curious how to restore previous versions of apps if needed.
Contacts app getting FC when trying to save contact.
Messaging app and gallery app doesn't show in App list.
OneUI 2, A8+.
can you mod gallery and my files to work on oneplus devices?

Missed the incallUI I waited a long time for him, how can you make it available?
In some cases android 10 need to clean install avoid missing permission, and in S-A-R system twrp I have misplaced after install zip with mounted system partition, if not mounted zip / script won't work
Like :

Need to change updater script
