Now messaging app works after changing some settings in app info menu All other apps working, but I am curious how to restore previous versions of apps if needed.
Contacts app getting FC when trying to save contact.
Messaging app and gallery app doesn't show in App list.

Missed the incallUI I waited a long time for him, how can you make it available?
In some cases android 10 need to clean install avoid missing permission, and in S-A-R system twrp I have misplaced after install zip with mounted system partition, if not mounted zip / script won't work

Both mods are complementary, where this mod is for everything but Settings and the other is the Settings app only.

GenNxt's mod does NOT work with Samsung stock. It only works with GenNxt. If it worked, then this mod would've never seen the light of the day.

I have tested with G4. But I don't think there's a problem if using different builds, as long as they are 4.4.2

I attempted to use it without the deodex thing, so it did not work for me! Thanks for the tip anyway!
i dunno why but after i installed your addon all of my phony-related-apps all gone.. wipe dalvik and partitions, wipe all data and reinstall the addon, i've tried everything the phone-contacts-etc are not there.. help me..

This is because you have flashed some other mods into /system. Flash stock using Odin or restore a backup, then flash again. You can also dig into that /system/app and delete unused crap to save space, then reflash the mod. This happened because you don't have enough free ROM space, so the CWM installer did not copy the files (in your case, SecContacts.apk, SecTeleService.apk, and InCallUI.apk). For starters, you can remove S Voice and AllShare.

First of all, my phone is brand new 1 day old, i came from latest G8 firmware updated via OTA, rooted with your instructions in another thread, and flashed the zip file step by step and i did it carefully.. But after first boot all of my telephony app went missing.. Everything back to normal bcoz i flash stock rom..
UPDATE : i tried everything, reflash stock ROM - rerooting via CWM from your suggestion - reflash zip addon.. aaaaand it's gone..
NB : if i may add, could you please add dial app with dual sim support, in the screenshots the dial app seems only support single sim. thanks.

Your problem happened with me when I flashed this mod to a friend's Grand 2. This is because there's much junk in the ZIP. I fixed that, in addition to adding Note 3 Air Command. The update will be released tomorrow in the main post.
About the dialer, it does support Dual SIM, but I had only one SIM in the device when I took the snapshots.
And thanks for your effort. I'll notify you in PM when I upload the updated ZIP.

But in my GG2 the dialer app only show one call button eventhough i had 2 sims in my phone.. And could you separate those note 3 feature in different zip file? so several people wont suffer like i do.. Thanks..

I'm going to investigate this issue. I (and you) may have to wait till old Sam makes a new phone with the S5 UI (dialer+contacts) AND Dual SIM.
About separating the Note 3 features, that's a really god idea!
And, oui, monsieur, what do you mean by saying "S5 toggles"? Well, I got them, even in the old mod. Except if you mean something else.
P.S. Can't you keep changing SIMs from the widget or the Notification Panel as a temporary fix?

Yeah I'm sorry for that but SuperSU disables dm-verity. This is necessary for GoogleAssistant to work. If you don't want GoogleAssistant you can install my file without SuperSU. If someone knows how to disable dm-verity or knows a kernel which has that feature please contact me

I always go with nano but you can flash whatever you like.

This is because this script removes calendar. Sorry for that. I will send the Calendar.apk to you tomorrow if you don't mind

Probably I will add Aroma Installer and some apps that you can choose whatever you like. I did this earlier on another device so that wouldn't be a Problem
Please add wallpaper, live wallpaper and pixel icon. Phone and Messenger also.
Aroma installer will make it perfect!!!

it is the official site of @Chainfire with all official releases of SuperSU. least you can do is Link to him instead of your private link. also its the latest version so compatible with every version of Android for our device ESPECIALLY CM 14.1. i dont want to be rude but proper credits have to be given when using someone's work and dont remirror files.
@peshellas When I'm home i will change this and add thanks and credits. And btw I just used the download link above because I wasn't sure if the official .zip would work because they have different build numbers and the one from the downloadlink seemed to be newer. And the download link isn't mine I just took the link from a site which uploaded this file.

Please Note
The custom boot image is non-volatile meaning it will persist regardless of what system/ROM you are using, this is due to it being stored within a separate partition that is not usually accessed. To revert to the default boot/splash image check the download section for a revert zip.
FAQ
If installing on a non fresh build (clean install) and you previously had Google Now enabled you may need to wipe data for the Google app then long press the home button to bring up the default assist app.
To bypass the issue with Google Assistant asking to retrain voice data everytime install this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=choplabalagun.blogspot.com.chopassistant and follow the instructions within the app (it simply automatically exits the screen).

But this is to replicate a Pixel device. Messaging and Gallery are replaced with the Google variants, Google Messenger and Google Photos
does this bring pixel icons ?

i tried to install the app from apk mirror but its not working.

Most if not all the apps are ARM64 so unfortunately it will not work on devices with ARM architecture. I would have happily created one for the OPO but the pixel apps are pulled from the system image and afaik are not available for different architectures.
The boot image may work and if not can be created for the OPO and the boot animation plus sounds will work but would require modification of the install scripts.

Note: All features are working only in android oreo based ROMs. I tested all files in Nougat & Oreo based custom ROMs. Some users are reporting that app is crashing in marshmallow based ROMs. You need to give location permission manually to get weather data as launcher is not asking location permission but by default all permission are set off.

Flash Pixel-2-launcher-uninstaller (file from attachment) using TWRP or other custom recovery.

What the modified version has? downloaded it and I did not see a difference Compared to original.

It's same as original. Use it only if original version can't be installed. Like in some custom ROMs. So if original version is working, no need to install modified one.

Reflash current ROM or
Go to system/priv-app & delete folder nexuslauncherprebuild. It'll get removed.

Thanks for letting me know.
I only asked because the notification dots were working in the Pixel Launcher 7.1.2.
I have a Nokia 8. I guess I will have to wait for Android O update to get this feature back.

I have the original installed on my current ROM (current unofficial DU for Galaxy Nexus). While I don't have the Oreo-style notifications, it's actually cleaner than the original Pixel Launcher. I will likely swap the flashable version to gain Google Now integration - and I definitely like the cleaner approach this launcher takes compared to the launcher from the original Pixel.
Doesn't work on my Galaxy S8+
It keeps crashing at launch :/

I actually first saw about the launcher on Android Authority and downloaded this few mins ago.. and now using it?
Not working for me sony xperia Z2 6.1mm
I flashed by recovery
Not working neither in my Blackview R6 (Mediatek chip) with Android 6.
When I open the launcher, it crashes.
But the idea it was good, so, ny other option is continue using the older version Pixel Launcher that works good in my device

Download titanium backup
Search for message
And you will see the theme name and uninstall it
Apply normal theme
Reboot and apply the theme
