No, it will not stuck on boot... You will get errors while using play Store, maps, Gmail, Installing apps from playstore etc. Apps will give you error.
Overall if you interfere with the sdk in build.prop then you will face problems in using apps. many a times you can get the error that SystemUI has stopped etc. etc. etc.

Can't manually install app, bug??

So, yesterday I tried to install the apk of L camera, with no success. I got stuck in the first menu, when you need to press "install". I start to think that the problem was with the app and not with the android. But today I tried to install de google play services and I had the same problem.
Stock Android L without root.
I'm the only one?
...and the error is?
Not all apks are installable by the way. Some need to be put in /system

thanks, I click on Install and nothing happens.
I have tried with L camera, google play service and swiftkey.
Its a security feature when you're using an app that places an overlay on your screen.
Not sure what app it is though. Most common are screen dimmers

[Q] Live Wallpaper Picker had stopped

Hello, I have Sony Xperia C. After rooting it to uninstall app that I didnt need, I unknowingly uninstalled Live Wallpaper Picker. Even after installing the apk file, I get an error that unfortunately Live Wallpaper Picker has stopped. Maybe its to do with the fact that my android version is 4.2.2, and the apk file is 4.0.4. Even after installing the compatible version, the app doesnt install at all. Please help
You may need to restore your stock firmware to fix it now... If you decide to go that route, Here's a guide on that,

Great! This worked like a charm, thank you so much. I have rooted my phone to uninstall a few preinstalled apps. Each tie I start a new app I get a notification of root access granted. How can I stop that because its annoying and honestly worrying as if I have messed up something. Can you tell me what are the benefits of a rooted phone and its disadvantages? Plus how can I unroot it and will it be as if it was never rooted? Thank you so much

You will get the option on unrooting your device in the same app "Framaroot"
Advantages :
You can control your system as you want
You can do anything with your stock apps, themes, wallpapers, tones etc.,
You can now install a Custom ROM also,
etc. So many Advantages
Disadvantages :
You warranty in gone
Try THIS ROM by me. it's good It will transform your device's interface into Android 4.4.4 KitKat Interface.
Don's say just click the Thanks Button.
Thats great, thanks. Can I also update my android to kitkat?

Upgrading Actual OS to KitKat is not possible because there is no official update available and also we cannot flash custom kernel due to locked bootloader of Xperia C. We can only upgrade our User Interface to KitKat. I am also making an Android 5.0.1 Custom ROM for Xperia C and it will be uploaded on XDA this month only.
Thanks. Is it normal that after rooting, some apps such as clean master show notification of root access denied sometimes?
walkman doesnt recognize music after handset is at standby
Hi again. I have sony xperia c and I think after rooting it I have created a problem. The walkman app which is in-built doesnt detect music when the handset is used after standby. I keep rebooting but after a few minutes its the same. I have tried media scanner, clearing data in walkman and media storage but its the same. Please help. Did I destroy my phone?:crying:
Help please, my walkman app stops detecting music. Is it possible that these glitches are occurring due to the live wallpaper picker app I installed? Just a crazy thought :crying:

You can find the Album App attached below. Place this in your system>>app folder using Root Explorer and give the permission as "RW-R--R--" and reboot your phone.
Ok, do i need to install the app after placing there or just simply place the file there?
Ok, its still not working, when i want to set a picture as wallpaper it doesnt show the cropping mode, neither does it set the lock screen
Also i just uniinstalled the quickpic app, so that setting wallpaper finds its first preference in album, but when i did try it said that com.sonyericsson.album has stopped, and it says the album has stopped.
Hello, help please, reply please
Problem not solved

iSiddharth, I really love your works. I have also flashed the lollipop rom.
I followed the instuctions, but I didn't get good result. When deleting the same name apks, I also deleted android live wallpapers by a mistake. And the other point which I can't get is that where are those .odex files to delete? I didn't find Live Wallpapers.odex nor LiveWallpapersPicker.odex . Maybe because of these I didn't get successful result, but can you please help?

[Resolved] [Q] Xiaomi TV Box

I have a Xiaomi TV Box 3rd Gen, Model : MDZ-09-AK and i'm having a few problems. After trying to install google play for awhile, I rebooted and manged to get google play, however a few things happen, I couldn't install apks (crashes any apps that tries to install it) and google play doesn't even work (No connection though my wifi works), the youtube app also stopped working. So I decided to enter system menu and clear everything out. However, i'm now stuck without a settings app, with a broken play store and some default apps. I cannot install any .apk.
Anyone can assist me?
try to install Google Play Services
How? I can't install APK files
The TV Box have a recovery? If yes try to wipe data
Sent from my Motorola StarTAC via XDA Free App

Yeah but that doesn't work.
Anyways I manged to solve it by finding terminal in their store... Not sure why they have it there but installing that allowed me to access the settings from there.

[Completed] help me fix my xperia c

hello!
m in a deep **** trouble, a few months ago i rooted my xperia c so that i can flash the lollipop ROM. I wanted this this new ROM coz of the stock JB ROM looked crap n was laggy though there was nothing much heavy apps installed on it.
to the point,
before i actually flash this rom i had to flash the ftf file so as to change my s1 boot, but ya i messed around with my fone previously after rooting it, had installed a app called 'ULTIMATE BACKUP' so the i could convert some system apps to user so that i could have control over it!!
unfortunately i converted the 'SYSTEM UI' 'MTP EXTENTION SERVICES' 'KEYBOARD' 'PLAYSTORE' 'DRM MANAGER' and some other few like facebook n twitter albums walkman....
when ever i restarted my phone it would show me SYSTEM UI stopped working, so to over come this i installed a thirdparty launcher to use this phone but i solved this problem by finding another new SYSTEM UI.APK n placed it in the system folder of the device.
so i it would be greatful if anyone having a xperia c could juz upload "USB CONNECTIVITY.APK" "MTP EXTENSION SERVICES.APK" "DRM MANAGER"
so that i could atleast flash a stock android on my phone!!
thanks!
