@superdragonpt.
Are you planing to release new version of MIUI. I hope so.
Thanks for yours hard work! Keep going! Comunity needs you

@superdragonpt are you planing to make a release new version of this rom?
I installed custom kernel v1.4 for miui and phone start to react strange. From time to time when I was trying to unlock phone display wake up and then got blank again. After serveral tries phone has woke up. This was happening quite offten.
I really love this rom. Can you put some effort for it. Thanks !
Maybe miui v5 will be good idea

I won't make or port no more JB ROMs..
Now that KitKat ROM is stable, there's no reason to continuing working on an old and deprecated OS like jellybean.
About kernel, I had explained that issue several times, go back to kernel miui v1.3.
V1.4 is incompatible with some hardware revisions.
Regards

I understand the reason why you don't want to continue with this rom.
For kernel 1.4 it's working fine in bruno mod 1.3 I'm using yours custom kernel since begining but with other roms. My gf got Redmi 1S and I really like it and I wanted to try it on my V970 I was working fine but without custom kernel.
Ideally it will be great to have MIUI v5 based on KitKat. Do you think that this is possible ?
I'm keeping my finger crossed to have this.
Thanks for yours hard work SuperDragon !!! you are really rocking outs v970

[Q] is MoKee any good?

Hi there
I will shortly be joining either the custom rom user world or bricked phone world. :silly:
I am absolutely new to the topic and would love some advice from you all.
My phone is stock ICS and I want to switch to a ROM which is very stable and fast.
Earlier i was thinking of going for PA or Cyanogen but neither seem to officially support Motorola Atrix 2. :crying:
MoKee is the only distribution which apparently has official support for my phone.
I was wondering if there is any other ROM which officially supports Atrix 2?
How good is MoKee? Would you recommend this ROM to a newbie? From what i know, Cyanogen seems to be the easiest to install.
Also, can someone list the steps to installing Mokee?
I read the content at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2305303
but for a 1st time newb all that seems very intimidating.
thank you

All of new ROM's for our Atrix2 are fast and most of them are stable (depends on user )
& Even though CM 11 is not official for our phone, but currently it is the most stable and all bug fixed rom for our A2
(I am not saying Mokee or other ROMs are not stable, but at this stage CM 11 has all bug fixed and I am sure Mokee & other will incorporate it soon :fingers-crossed: )
Also all ROM's have same procedure to install, so all ROM's are easy to install (Thanks to BMM)
You can follow steps in that link or check this video tutorial for using BMM
"Axxiom Kat" also has official support to our device.
It doesn't matters (at least for this device) whether the ROM has official support or not, our device has a team of some Recognized Contributors and A2EPT (Atrix 2 edison porting team) which keep the ROM up to date as like it is an official ROM :victory:
So dont worry flash any ROM you want :highfive:

Thanks Sameer!
Guess CM11 is the best bet for me.
Btw, what is the kernel update?
Would you recommend me to go for a custom kernel now? or is it something i should attempt only when i have the hang of modding?

All rom's have inbuilt custom kernel (kexec kernel), if you wanna try overclocking your device you can use JBX kernel
JBX can be flashed after ROM installtion.
But for a newbie like you dont flash it yet, first try some ROM's; when you get used to it then try JBX.
And if this helps you, dont say thanks press Thanks button below the post !!
And we have separate Q&A section for question and answers
Please dont post questions here in general section
MoKee is bug free and gps works berry good
Mokee is stable and you can try SlimKat as well
Slimkat worked best for me as far as battery life, but cm11 was best overall
atrix 2 cm11

No don't do it. Aosp kernels are for aosp based roms. Nkd is stock based, you will have to wait for a tw version of KT
Wondering if there is a way to get themes for this new twrp 2.8.2.0 version?
Love this Kernel!
ktoonsez, what Lollipop do you personally use or prefer for your S5?
(that I could use your Kernel with).
lollipop 5.0 touch wiz
Do u know when u will be able to build a kernel that will work on the sprint s5 touch wiz 5.0?
i can confirm that the kernel is working on touchwhiz and fusion rom 5.0 (sprint) with no boot problems or f.c's. etc.. thanks for the kernel
AOSP Lollipop 5.0 VERSION.
I assume your new kernel (above), will work on "[STOCK ROM][5.0] NKD Android L Odexed" ?
That rom is NKD based, your kernel is NL9 based.
I don't see a NL9 firmware we can flash onto our G900P.
Well I flashed:
Touchwiz Lollipop 5.0 VERSION: 01.03.2015
and now I can not connect to the camera with any camera app.
I apply the nightly builds of CM12 every day.
Do I need to re-install this kernel?
What ROM(s) are TouchWiz lollipop that will work on my kltespr? I see new kernels for TW 5.0, but what can I run this on?
Out of curiosity. How do scripts work. Why aren't there any in the shop?
Sent from my SM-G900P using XDA Free mobile app
Hey guys,
How do I flash the 09/01 kernel with CM12 20/01?
I've been running CM12 already but having the Bluetooth issues. I've downloaded KT-SGS5-LP5.0-AOSP-G900-01.09.2015.zip but when I go to flash it from recovery it says zip signature verification failed. Do I have to untick the verification?
Thanks.
hello,
just installed the newest kernel 2-11, thank you. I noticed one problem that I think is kernel related, but not to sure. when i open my camera app, it shows blue lines in the photo. i did not have this problem earlier today when I used the camera, weird. any opinion? i am currently running fusion 5.0 on OA6 with
thanks
Anyone have any issues with Private Mode not working after running KTweaker kernel

Check out the MOAR FAQ. Yes, you can. You even had the option to install it when you flashed MOAR 6.1.
I just updated to version 9, dated 2/26. However, I'm unable to get any signals..... I had to go back to version dated 2/25.
Any ideas?
Problem with 2-26-2015 kernel - Modem stopped working (Sprint)
On the 2-26-2015 kernel, my phone modem would not connect to Sprint. This also prevented WIFI calling to work as well.
I had to revert back to the 2-25-2015 kernel.
When I flashed 2-26, I wiped dalvik/cache afterwards.
Anyone able to reproduce this?
I flashed 2/26/2015 and the phone was not getting any signal. It said that it kept telling me to insert a sim every time I tried to do something that needed the network. I also went back to 2/25/2015

super rom
This ROM is perfect... Old stuff? Yes but awesome stuff... I wonder is PAC ROM could enter the lollipop era... Everything about this ROM is better than all the other custom Romsin terms of it overall feel and performance...its more stable. No rotation distortions like the paranoid, camera flash works on first try, apps r stable when active.. But performance slightly enhanced than paranoid...
WiFi connections responses r a bit slow but browsing is good.. U just change some few IP resource files and apks, its works OK... It don't heat so much like the newer Roms with their newer kernels and stuffs.. I think the older stuffs seem to control the tab very well than the new ones.. It doesn't have any temperature reading stuffs inbuilt I'm guessing but its working great for me... I wonder if PAC man will have a lollipop version as well..
And also, newer google play services are a bit difficult for me to replace the old gmsCore in the root directory, can someone teach me where I'm not doing right in the system? Cos replacing it ddoesn't work, neither does using all its lib files cos some apps would work and others won't... Not sure why... Its gets play service errors...
PAC not getting enough votes
Cwm recovery is good u know....and installing PAC milestone alone or with gapp still work good....
And I have tried it without the first or original PAC ROM on my tab p6810. Well, there are simple build prop tweaks u can use and changed DRM app, cell broadcast receiver, VPN log, WPA sth....don't remember....in system app folder with sth from github for jb 4.2.2....
Well, I don't see why PAC won't have a lollipop version...think about iiiiit....a fully featured lollipop with pac 's natural performance scheme.....
O well, voter's choices....can't do anything about it...lol

camera not working
I have P5113. I tried to set up dual boot with Shakatu Zap Blaster V2.3 Rom and Slimkat 4.4.4 build 9.0 official Rom. I made Slimkat the primary rom while Shakatu was the secondary rom. I followed the instruction of flashing the next kernel 2.4 and the proprietary samsung update zip to each of the roms. Everything worked fine except the camera on the Slimkat Rom which is the primary rom. When I try to connect to the camera through the native android camera app or the google camera app, it tells me "it cant connect to camera". what is the problem and how can I fix this?
