Hello,
I didn't see this case mentioned and considering the LOW supply of actual quality cases I decided to start this thread in case I wasn't the only one who didn't know about it lol. Looking through the pics what I like the most is that it allows you to touch/use the actual buttons and the center dimple and camera have their own circle rather than an oval like in other cases (hate that oval design). I just ordered mine today and will post pics once it arrives but in the meantime check out the link below. I got it for $16 shipped from amazon.

I didnt even use the case for more than a day and went back to the tudia case. I really wanted to love the SATIN case but the edges make the case feel cheap. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the back of the case for the brushed aluminum pattern on it and the dual circles, but the cheap feel is a deal breaker. The sharp edges that they put in place for grip really just make it feel cheap in the hand. Also the risk of the honeycomb actually damaging the back cover of the phone is a concern for prolonged use. After a day there was a honeycomb pattern on the back cover but with a damp towel it came off. I might use it on occasion, but by no means will it be my 24/7 case.
pros:
-Love the dual circle opening for camera and M logo rather than oval
-brushed aluminum pattern on back of cover looks great
-has openings to touch actual power and volume buttons
-sharp edges on sides for grip
cons
-adds SLIGHT bulk to the phone compared to a thin case like the tudia
-the sharp edges for grip make it feel cheap (maybe if it was made of something other than TPU it would be ok)
-openings for power and volume button SLIGHTLY restrict access to buttons (smaller fingers wont have this issue) and compared to the extra firmness of the tudia cases sealed buttons, I say both cases are comparable for ease of button pressing
-honey comb pattern inside the case CAN POTENTIALLY damage the phones back cover

Looks really nice! Have you gotten it yet?
Can you post the Amazon link?
EDIT: It's on sale @ the Body Glove website for 10.99 currently. Just picked one up.

Added the link to the OP just now. I didn't even receive the shipped notice yet but it said I think monday-thurs of next week it should arrive. Hoping it actually comes friday or saturday though.

I purchased this case from eBAy a couple of months ago. I like it, I switch between this case and the Hula bumper.

Thanks for the pics but you said a few months ago? Lol man I have been checking for new cases a few times since I got the phone and never saw this case. Think the biggest problem is perhaps finding cases due to the official name being the same as last years.
Think motorola needs to make an official name sequence or something like htc did with the HTC one m7 and m8. I think making the model year part of the name would be cool; like cars and most other things with wheels.

Yeah I was searching on eBay for cases and came across the listing. I was nervous that it was going to be for the 2013 model but the description said 2nd generation so I gave it a try. It's really hard to find cases for the phone, one thing I look at in the pics are to see which wallpaper they show in the phone. Sometimes that helps to distinguish the different models. Try searching with 2014 and/or 2nd generation in your searches.
Motorola definitely should update the naming convention on these phones.

The funny part is that some case makers are too lazy to update their wallpaper image. My tudia case arrived with a cardboard of the gen1 wallpaper and initially thought they sent the wrong one until I opened it. Also body glove on the moto x shows the gen 1 for the moto x but only has a case for the gen2 which is funny and maybe why I didn't notice this one sooner since I literally went on their site a few weeks ago.
Yeah the naming needs to be easier to tell which model year. Oh well. Love the phone lol

It doesn't look too shabby but historically, body glove's cases haven't been the best quality. Will wait to hear impressions before I decide if I want to order it or not.

Well it came in earlier than expected (woo hoo!) and I updated the OP to include some pics.
I like the look of the case, it seems to add some bulk compared to the Tudia case I have though. It seems and feels thicker I think due to the flatter lines (back is still curved) but both cases on the table visually cant be more than 0.5mm difference. I have mixed feelings about it, I wish the case was thinner honestly but I do like it. Really need to use it a day or two so I can form an opinion on it. There are "sharp" edges which really help the phone feel secure in the hand. The shock factor would be no greater than any other TPU case. Overall fit of it against the moto x is solid though. The power and volume buttons are I would say for a normal adult moderate/easy to press due to the size of the openings. The Tudia requires extra force to overcome the case materials flex and the body glove one your physically pressing the button but the opening can be a bit of a restriction for some (and I dont have sausage fingers either lol).
I would say the one flaw I saw is the molding is a bit off on one of the mics which is seen in one pic. The hole is technically in the right spot and honestly its probably fine but its like there is some molding that needs to be cut a bit which I will do to my sample.
Overall Im looking forward to using this case for the next few days and see how it goes. Cosmetics wise I think it beats the Tudia hands down, lets see how it goes functionally.

of what material is the honeycomb pattern inside made. I ask because of a picture posted by one Amazon reviewer.
I don't have a leather back, but do you think it would be pressing too hard on a soft touch back. ?

Wow thats bad but with leather I could have seen that coming. Yesterday I saw a honeycomb on my soft touch back but looked like some oils from the case since it wiped off. After a full day today I will update.
Worst case it will give me a good excuse to mod my back. I have been googling carbon fiber material to make my own back but havent had the courage to do it just yet lol

Ok so after a day of use with the base soft touch moto x I could see a pattern on the back cover but when wiped with a towel it came right off. It didnt feel like it made an impression but the honeycomb was visible until I wiped it with a damp towel.

Seidio Innocase Review (GREEN) UPDATED 56k BEWARE

I will be doing reviews and testing for Seidio products and received my first one to start with. ( Admins if you would like verification I do have that available ).
It is the Green ( Or Saga as they call it ) Epic 4g Case. I have provided a couple of pictures and will be posting a full review today with more photos to come. Possibly may do a video to show the sliding action since that has been a big question among the cases currently out.
Currently I'm going to be testing the sliding mechanism restriction, phone damage if any, and a few other things.
Seidio Innocase EPIC 4G (GREEN) Review
Review:
From first impression, the Seidio Innocase for the Epic 4g has a great feel all around the case. The rubberized no slip grip works wonders, yet still has a smooth to the touch finish. All buttons and microphone are completely accessible without restriction.
Sliding mechanism:
With the case attached to the Epic 4G there is NO restriction on the sliding mechanism. Now Seidio did a surprising design that many manufactures have not attempted. For the bottom portion of the case, the attachment clips are on each corner yet they are raised slightly from the rim of the case, this allows a very small opening for the case to move freely. Addition to that, the top cover has the attachment clips mounted on the top and bottom. Due to both these features – Scratching of the keyboard is long gone and smooth sliding stays.
Installation and Removal:
Install was very basic, the case clipped on smoothly and is simple enough to remove incase of a reset, memory card, and battery removal.
Appearance:
The case is thin compared to most out there. After installing the case there was not much added to the bulk of the phone. In my opinion this gave a the phone a better look with a case due to how thin it is.
The green I had to admit is beautiful – It is a true Saga but can be looked upon as a light forest green.
Durability Testing:
For this I used my second epic as it is my test phone for software and such. To meet the standards of daily use, I tested the phone while out at a Mall, Movie theater, Restaurant, and outside on trails. This allows different areas and different types surroundings for testing.
After Dropping the phone on several occasions and from different heights and on different material ( 1ft, 3ft, 5ft, 6ft) - The case never came off and surprisingly the case is almost un-touched. The phone was fully protected and no damage was done.
Options:
There have been questions if the case will fit with a Seidio Screen Protector, Phantom Skinz, Invisible shield, and 3rd party brands. I tested the case with phantom Skinz – Tight fit but still works great. Seidio Screen Protector – Fit perfect, Invisible Shield - The case fit like a glove. 3rd party skins provided the same results.
If there are any questions please feel free to post. Other colors and products coming soon.

tell them to release a case that can replace ur backplate instead of snapping on top...either that or a premium case with felt lining
update[color]:
Really you cannot go wrong with black unless perhaps a chrome/rubber premium case w/felt and galaxy s logo (of course with seido at the bottom

Will do, now is there a color preference of the felt and back case? ( there are some that are picky about that ).
Zigarath has a good idea there. If they had a backplate that flared out just enough to cover the chrome edges it could probably be a lot smaller. Id love to see photos of the white and I'm curious how the colored cases attract markings/stains. I have always had black seidio cases but am considering something a bit more vibrant but would hate for it to get all marked up and dirty after a short period of time.

The rubberized coating is smoothed and not course so stains and markings are less prone to occurring and visibility.
More colors soon to come as there will be a review for every color possible.
Any other color requests?
you spoke about how they designed this case differently from others taking into account of the sliding keyboard, etc.
any chance of taking photos of the top and bottom cases seperately so that i can see what you're trying to explain about their "features" and how/where the clips are placed?
update: ah, i think i see what you're talking about in some of the photos, i can kinda see the clips on the bottom of the case near the word Samsung. Great photos of the close up btw

If you like I can get some better photos of the clips on both cases, use higher contrast so there more visible.
Just as a kicker some photos where taken with the epic
Since you are advertising for Seidio I can see why you have such a positive bias on their behalf.
But Id have to disagree with your review.
With the case on, while the clips are as thin as they could possibly be, they still pull the phone apart slightly and rub on the silver bezel of the phone. While it might not be noticable to you, the smoothness of the slider is compromised and I can physically feel the clips snagging as the keyboard is opened and closed.
The case feels sturdy on, but many people are reporting that after using the Seidio case for an extended amount of time and then removing the case, the phone feeling much looser sliding open, and even having phone wobble that wasn't there before.
posted from a EPIC4G.
looks good enough, altho id prefer a cobalt blue color, also kinda away from topic i noticed you had a slight orange peel effect on the screen. is that with the invisashield?

This is information that is needed, I also have phone wobble but that was before any case. With your case on does it show minor separation?
my review is positive as currently the experience with the product is positive. If there is a negative effect/issue with the product is better to find, isolate, and repair.

I'm hoping to get the blue for review also. That is my color of choice.
Yep, When I had it installed I wondered if it was going to affect the screen, to my surpurise IMO didn't really change anything, once you turn on the screen the screen protector blends right in.

all the case scraping problems can so be avoided by just making a rubberized replaceable backplate and a thin rubber bumper on top. problem solved. I know seido browses these forums so hopefully they've seen enough people say the same thing and listen up
how easy is it to remove?
I did inform Seidio about the requests for a new case that would replace the Battery Cover also provided the reasons and benefits along with the consumer market interests. Also mentioned the requests for felt lining as I would also like this option.
that would be fantastic
The only problem I'm having with my Seidio is that the bottom left side (portrait, phone closed) of the back plate's clip is starting to break already. I've had a corner of it break off and the other is starting to go as well. No idea how it'll stay on if it does break, but for 30$ I was expecting a bit better quality than that.

Might be a defect, does happen. Since there is a warranty I would just give them a call or chat and file a warranty claim/RMA.
I would really like to see a review/photos of the active and rugged cases.

TPU Case from Amazon Review

Picked up a TPU case from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0054HA45A
It's pretty much the bomb if you are looking for a TPU case. Cutouts for surround sound mic holes on back and all of the cutouts line up near perfect.
It fits the phone perfectly. I recommend. It's only 8 bucks and they have a few different colors. I got the gloss black. Free shipping if you are a prime member like me.
Sorry, there is dust all over my phone in these pics. It's not sparkly. The case is super rigid TPU. It's not the dust/lint attracting silicon BS you get at T Mobile. I was in a dusty environment when taking the pics.

As I stated in the cases thread, I also own this very nice case.
I also mentioned the downsides it has for me so far, which are the pretty hard to use volume rocker and hard to reach power button. Volume rocker might be due to the way I used to press it on my DHD, there seems to be a position when it actually works pretty easy. But the power button will always be a pain.
Yet, it's actually a failure of HTC, the power button on the side is the only thing I like about the SGS2 which I would LOVE to see on a future HTC phone.

I didn't see your post. I am having no issues with the volume rocker, but I really don't use it much I guess. I never listen to music on my phone.
I would love for this phone to have the power button on the side. All of these Android phone manufacturers should follow Samsung's lead and put them on the side. Everyone is putting them at the top these days! It's pretty awkward pushing a button on the top to lock it every time you put it down.
Loving this case!

Its funny you all complain about the Volume on the top. I remember when the Galaxy first came out there was A LOT of complaints about the power button being on the side. I dont mind the where the power button is on my Galaxy or Sensation... Shrugs.
I do have a question tho. The 2 holes on either side of the camera and the 2 holes near the bottom, what are they for? The TPU case i bought from Amzer (SP?) dont have those holes free. I wonder if they will cause a problem.
Google told the holes are for the antenna connectors.. So it shouldn't be a problem when it's covered.

I do.... Ha!
Thanks for the review! It looks pretty good in the pics.
Hard shell is never my thing.. I don't like silicon cases because of the friction and lint accumulation. Just ordered it on Amazon, I will wait and see if I can live with the added thickness.
I've gone naked for the past few days, I've never used any cases with my blackberry or previous HTC phones. I've never tried TPU cases before, I guess it doesn't hurt to try for 8 bucks.

It adds almost no thickness to the phone. My brother asked me why I didn't have a case when he was playing with it today.
Someone gave this a one star review on Amazon because the volume rocker is harder to press. It's not that hard. Plus you could easily get an exacto knife and cut it out yourself. You will like this case dude.

Yeah, you won't regret it
You won't notice the extra thickness in width, maybe in height, but it doesn't really matter there.
I picked one up before getting the phone. Fits nicely, you can barely notice the thickness. I just wish they had clear one instead of the smoked one that I've got.
Hi!
For people who can't order on Amazon.com (I'm in Belgium and I can't order this item via Amazon), it's also available on eBay. Object numbers are : 260799343153, 260799345693, 250834600173 (inexpensive delivery).

Just got it and put it on this morning.
Gotta say I love the fit and finish. Everything fits perfectly without being too tight or lose. It definitely does a great job of preventing scratches or bumps. Now I could toss and slide the phone all I want without worrying scratching the back. The case also doesn't pick up too much pocket lint like silicon cases, while adding friction while holding the phone and minimize incidental drops.
Minor negative is that the power button and volume rocker is noticeably harder to control/press than before without using the case. The added thickness does not subtract from the user experience, but it does add ever so slightly to the bulk.
Then again, which case doesn't have those cons? For 8 bucks, it is a great case. I'll keep using it for now till I find myself using the volume rocker more frequently, which I do use quite often for music and in-call volume adjustments.
If only it wasn't so shiny
I purchased this case as well, it is absolutely fantastic. It fits so perfectly, and I can't believe the price. I was worried I wouldn't like the shine, and that it would be loose, but I've gotten used to it, and it fits tight to the phone. Definitely one of the best cases I have ever owned for any device.
I got mine off Amazon, from TPU Case. Very nice black, I can't complain. I always get TPU cases for my phones but I never got black. They sell the exact same ones on eBay for $8.95 except the shipping is free.
I used the camera on my camcorder, very bad quality but hopefully you can see the holes and what not.
Just got the all black one today, I must say it is a perfect fit, never had a case that fitted this well. No bulk at all, feels just as slim.
I purchased this on Amazon last week. Note it was $7.98 and now it's $8.90. Crazy the price went up, haha!
Here's my review:
I've never used a product before made out of "Durable Flexible TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane)" but it seems to do the job quite well. It's an extremely hard durable plastic with just a tiny bit of flex so you can get the case on the phone. (A word of warning: you won't be taking this case off too often because it's really difficult to do so! Once it's on, it's meant to stay!)
As for protecting the phone, it seems like it will do the job. It's sealed *extremely* tight, so hopefully it won't let dust/lint in there like those cheap rubber cases do.
It looks great too, since it's a shiny/glossy black color. That means it's also easy to slip in and out of a pocket, unlike the cheap rubber cases that will stick to the inside of your pocket.
The only bad thing I can see is that it gets kind of greasy easily, even if you wash your hands often. And over time, scratches might show easily as well. (I'll update the review if the case gets scratched or something in the future, but so far so good.)
Overall though, for the price (which was actually a tiny bit lower last week when I bought it) I am extremely satisfied with this case. I want maximum protection and Otterbox is currently refusing to put out a case for the Sensation (not to mention their cases are expensive too). So in the mean time, this TPU case seems to be handling the job quite well. Hopefully my phone remains in perfect condition for the next year so I can resell it easily.
I would highly recommend this case to other Sensation owners, especially for the price, and even more so if you are an Amazon Prime member for the free shipping. It is a pretty great product and I would certainly consider purchasing their cases for my future phone(s).

Seidio Case Review for Skyrocket

I have been using Seidio cases for multiple generations of phones now going way back to the original Blackberry Pearl. I have given a few other styles a shot at times but I keep finding myself coming back to the Seidio cases. They have always held up well and the fact that they have a combination holster that works specifically with their cases was a bonus.
I have to backtrack a little before I get into this review. Had it not been for a miniscule moment of innapropriate anger, I would not have a new phone in my possession. Had it not been for the Seidio case on that phone, I would not have been able to get into it for all my needed information. So, in a matter of seconds I had taken a full pitching arm swing with phone in hand and aimed at garage floor. In all fairness, I had worn that Atrix out to the point where it was on its last leg(maybe subconsciously I was yearning for a new phone). Anyway, I digress, the phone ended up with its screen shattered and the shell slightly bent(I hit the concrete directly on the corner). To the credit of the case, it never came off and the phone stayed on the whole time without rebooting. I put a piece of packing tape over the screen, so as not to get cut by the shards of glass poking out, and I was able to swipe up, down, left and right. However ugly the situation, if that case wasnt on there, the phone wouldnt have been accessible. Now some might argue that having another brands case that rhymes with "hotter fox" might have saved it completely, I find it incredibly uncomfortable to use a phone that becomes 3 times its size because of a case. Nuff said.
I ended up replacing the Atrix with a new Skyrocket. This phone is downright awesome and puts the Atrix to shame in every department. However, we arent here for a phone review, so lets get on with it. I knew I wanted a case on the phone immediately so I picked up one of those slick rubberized cases(skin?) that stretches over the back of the phone and around the sides. This was a decent option but I am part of the 1% out there who wears their phone on their hip at work, I hate putting my phone in the pocket(unless Im wearing jeans). So, I needed a case that had a holster and thats where Seidio came in.
I looked through Seidios options and saw they had two types of cases for the phone and holsters that matched. Since this phone was pretty big, I wanted to stay with the slimmer type case that I had been used to in the past which was the "Surface" style. They also have an "Active" style which is apparently much more protective like the previously mentioned brand but more attractive. With this case I ordered it as a combo with the holster. One of my main concerns was how this phone would look on the hip, in a case, being how large it is in the first place. In retrospect, choosing a black case would have made the most sense for that argument. However, I chose the blue case because, well, I like blue, and I got the phone in white, so I figured I would nickname my phone the "Smurf".
A week or so later I received the package with the case and the holster. First thing I noticed was how absolutely cool the blue finish was on the case. It has almost a metallic hue to it yet is fully plastic. The feel of the case is as it has been in the past; not too grippy but not too slippery. It has a nice texture to it that lends itself to being able slide in and out of a pocket without pulling out lint but also not feeling like it will slide out of your hand when holding it.
I put the phone into the case and the pieces snapped together with authority. Take note, the first time you need to disconnect the two pieces will be a struggle. After that however, it will be an easy task. Just seems that the pieces need to get broken in for a bit before they come apart with ease. As I was holding the phone with the case on it, I noticed that it didnt feel that much bigger with it on. The case is really tight fitting and seems to just barely come off the "Surface" of the phone. There is enough protection above the front bezel though that you can place the phone face down and it wont touch the screen. The only thing that I wasnt too keen on was how deep the cut was to reach the power button. It seems to be at such an angle that you have to get your fingertip in there to press it right. Maybe over time that will change but at first it was an odd behavior.
Next up was wearing the phone to work on the holster. How did it go? Awesome! There is no denying that when you have a phone of this size on your hip, it does get noticed. There is no getting around the fact that nowadays, nobody wants a phone the size of the old V60, and because of that, you are hauling around a nice sized piece of web viewing real estate. I have to say though, I got tons of compliments on the case color. Everyone who saw it said they had never seen a color like that before, or as they held it in their hand, a case that looked so cool. The phone was light to begin with and the case did nothing to hurt that. The holster is very grippy but seems to disappear from the hip when the phone is in it. The weight distribution keeps the phone very close to the body and feels like its just there coming along for the ride. The holster is very sturdy and the phone clicks into it with a loud informative SNAP.
After about a week of wearing the phone daily to work in the holster and a few instances of slipping it into my jeans, I wholeheartedly recommend Seido cases yet again. After saving my old phone the way it did and the new materials they seem to be using, Seidio has a hit on their hands. With how well their manufacturing is and perfectly fit around the phone these cases are, theres really no reason to look anywhere else for something to protect your phone. Oh, and since my original rant, I have had no problems using the power key anymore.
And now the pics:

Thanks for the helpful review. I enjoyed the back story as well.
I think if I do end up purchasing this phone, the Seidio case is the first I'll try.
Thanks for the review, man!
I can second a recommendation for this case.
To be honest I just found I enjoyed my phone a bit more without a case on it, admittedly having to be a bit more careful with it.
If I had any complaint about the case it would be that where the two pieces connect. I can see where that was going to potentially be an annoyance down the road.
I have one and it's to slick for me. I run my phone nekkid now. The case cured me of wanting a case.
my .02 worth.
I got one today and it seems pretty nice so far. As mentioned, it can be hard to get it apart (off the phone) to begin with until you can figure a method that works best. I already have a Seidio Active case and I like it alot, but it is a bit bulkier than the Surface case. I think I will like this one because it works in my phone side carry case that I use at work. The Active was to bulky to use so I had to change over to my Diztronics case during the week. With this case, I think I'll be able to use it in the side carry case as well as in the holster that I bought with it. Just for some information, it seems that the Active holster works as well as the Surface holster for carrying purposes while the Surface case is on the phone. The phone seems to fit into both of them just the same so you might want to save some money if you already have an Active holster.
Why in the heck is there no kickstand??
I LOVE this case and my friends are always bragging about theirs having an awesome kickstand so they can watch movies on their puny S2 screens... Can anyone explain why the big, bueatiful SkyRocket cant stand up like a rocket? A rocket needs a stand to fly!!! Come on guys! Show me how stupid I am and where to get a kickstand case

Indeed it does. Ive been using it since i got my SR in February. I love it. Very sturdy and protective without adding much bulk.
Sent from low Earth orbit with my Skyrocket.
I had this case but, returned it. The bottom part was a tad loose and would shift a bit in my hand. Not much but, enough to notice each time and make me give a grunt of displeasure. Also, the headphone jack area was just not large enough for a couple of my connections( I aux jack into home stereo and car stereo). Finally, the openings around the rocker switches just felt wierd to me. Low on the backside and high on the front side. A friend of mine has an Elago case for his Note. But, that they don't make one for the Skyrocket. That is the style I am looking for. I'm picky I admit. I would rather go naked than uncomfortable.
This looks great. I wanted something slimmer than my Seidio Active case.
Thanks!
Looks good, gonna switch it up.

Just fyi, if you have a Best Buy near you, Seidio sells under the brand name Platinum Cases and it's actually $10-15 cheaper for the combo set with the holster.
I've used seidio for a while too now and when I was searching for a case I found this out and saved myself a good amount of cash since I also didn't have to pay for delivery... Same construction, no problems. Although I think the only color they have is black... I did notice the bottom is a tiny bit loose but I ended up buying a ghost armor screen protector and since I was there ended up getting the full body so now the case fits like a glove.
Hyper, with ya on the 1% that like to carry phone in the holster...lol I even wear it with jeans altho shirts always cover it...lol

i-Blason TPU Case

I was perusing the Rearth Case thread and from there came across the i-Blason TPU case. Like the Rearth, it's $10USD well in US, not sure if it's available internationally yet.
I have it on and sporting it right now. I do like it. It gives the phone better grip IMO. The only negative is that it's not clear. I mean you can still see the nexus name but not the sparklies lol. I have also posted a pic of a holster that I had back when the HTC Sensation first came out and I needed some sort of holster before Seidio came out with one. Don't mind the cords lol...

If someone could comment on a good glossy tpu case (maybe this one is), I find those have much better grip than matte.

I don't have a N4 but waiting for one eventually and wanted to see what cases there are. Currently I have a Sensation with an i-Blason case and love it as well. Anyone want to try it out? I personally want a clear/frost one. Other colors are black and pink.

I respectfully disagree with your opinion. For my Sensation, I have both the cheap ebay ones that can be bought for around 2-4 dollars and I currently have the i-Blason. Yes they are similar, but the main difference for me when I got these for my Sensation was that the openings and buttons did not align 100%. With the i-Blason, on the Sensation anyway did. So that is why I was inquiring if anyone has tried these out yet.
But you may be right, you never know with new products, but I want to see the proof in the pudding.
I don't know about their quality yet, but I pre-ordered with them because they claimed to be shipping on the 13th. So I figured I'd pick it up just because it was the first case I saw available.
Well turns out it didn't ship until the 21st and that was the last day of their expected timeframe that it would be delivered. They did not expedite the shipping and would not get back to me about requesting a refund on the shipping.
At this point, even if it's a nice case I'm sending it back. I don't like doing business with companies that fail to communicate (and yes, at least with Google I had someone to call regardless of them knowing something, they still answered. They also honored Free shipping for failing to meet shipping timeframe).
Other than that, I ordered the black one and I'll update with the quality of it and pics with it on the device.

I also ordered this case in Frost Clear.
I was a little disheartened to look at the product photos today and see the true representation of the case on the phone.
When I ordered the case on the 19th, the images they showed on Amazon were obviously Photoshopped, but I had hoped they were a decent representation of the case, just not having an actual model phone to place them on for product photos.
The Frost Clear product on the 19th looked like this in their image : imgur.com/PrIEy.jpg
Now, looking at the new image they have, the thing is near white. : imgur.com/PrIEy.jpg
I should have mine in an hour or two, and can take photos and post if anyone is interested. I'll wait to get it in my hands to determine if I'm satisfied. I was looking for something a bit more subdued and dark, yet clear enough to see the rear design of the phone a bit. This new white frosted version is much the opposite of that.

Hmmm, for my sisters s3 she had also ordered 2 cases. One from I-Blason for 15$ and the same on from hong kong for 2.50$ and in the end I think even the Hong Kong was better but your opinion is your own and I will not change it Its just im in high school and I make sure to get the best deals because I cant just go buy the most expensive ones.
Received mine - Photos
Just got mine in the mail. Again, it's definitely not what I was expecting with the original product shots they used on the amazon page.
Here's the gallery : imgur.com/a/QcCKr
I got this as a stop-gap until the bumper or a nicer case was available, so I'm not cringing so much for the time being, but it definitely looks cheap and looks like a toy with this on.
I was hoping for a more tinted plastic with a dark tinted plastic for the back, as the original images would have you believe.
I can say, for the most part, the new photos are very representative of the final product.
Aside from the looks, it feels pretty secure. the case has a bit of give on the left and right sides of the phone, making it feel squishy. The back part that is frosted isn't very grippy, it's more of a paper-like feel, like they just sanded down the clear material. there's no logos to be seen on the case at all, which i'm actually quite happy about. I figured the i-blason logo was going to be on the back, as some of the images had shown. The clear portions aren't super grippy, but there's a bit more than the bare Nexus 4 had. The buttons are harder to press than they are bare.Kinda hard to get used to the pressure needed. It's not a ton, but more than I'm used to.
There's a notch at the top of the front, for the receiver, which was a nice touch, to keep it fully open. The ridge around the front of the phone covers the chrome completely and comes in on the curved glass almost all the way. the height from screen-plane to top of the ridge is probably no more than 1mm, if that. It's the same thickness as a credit card, if that gives anyone a good indicator.
Overall, I'm alright with the purchase. I wasn't expecting a top quality case, just something to make me feel a bit more secure with it until the right case arrives. I didn't like the common s-curve case, so I got this one. sorta wished I had gotten the dark grey s-curve instead, to have the darker look I wanted.
Hope this helps anyone else out there.

Just got mine, I ordered the black, but amazon sent me the Frost Clear along with the Black, so I got 2 cases for the price of one lol....I can tell you the black looks nice, much nicer then the clear I think, I had a clear one on my S3 and no matter what clear TPU starts to turn yellow over time. Will post some pics in a few of the black. The case looks alot like Diztronic it has a matte black finish on the back and gloss bezel, it covers the curved edge of the glass, which for me is a nice touch since most screen protectors that arent wet apply won't be covering that part of the phone...one thing is the bottom and top edge, since the bezel is covered up my screen protector i had to cut since it was pushing it up other than that great buy for 10 bucks..also the cutouts are perfectly aligned....no complaints fits securely in the case much like a Diztronic case.
And a few more pics
Well I got my covers and id post pictures but they'd just be redundant. Not much to see

Any way to polish up the back to make it more grippy? Seems silly to have a case be just as slippery as the phone

Really havent tried the clear one but the black one is grippy enough where its not super slippery like the phone itself. the back feels the same as the matte finishes on my diztronic cases.
Just received my frost clear one in the mail. Honestly wasn't expecting too much out of it, so I'm pretty content with the product. Sorry I don't have another camera on me to take pictures of it with it on the phone, but the updated pictures on their Amazon page comes pretty close. It is clear around with the back having that "frost" look, so you can see the Nexus and LG logo pretty clearly. I would've liked it if the whole case all around was that translucent frost, but IMO it's not too bad. I also wish the cut outs were more precise, especially for the rear speaker. It's just this big cut out as if they just guesstimated it... this is one thing that looks better and more precisely done in the Amazon photos than IRL. But overall it's alright. Only using it so I don't have to be concerned with damaging my phone until I get a nicer case when they start coming out.

Otterbox LGG5 Review
Today i just make a brief review for my lg g5 cases
It's taken more drops then anything.
However, I dropped one star for it's method of installation. Here's why; For this device, I have the extra battery, external charger and USB accessory kit. While under normal use this battery does nicely for a day, I am not a normal user. I can kill a battery FAST. So having two is heaven for me. But getting this case open to get to the phone to swap batteries could have been easier for this particular device. The phone is so ridiculously simple to get into (LOVE IT!). It also obviously won't fit the extra 'friend' parts so far. If I find a solid case that would, I'd consider that one. With my hands, this case is difficult for me to get on and off to swap batteries. But it is the best case out there right now cause I WILL drop my phone.
As it sits, this is still the strongest case out there. Easier to get into might include the Commuter but it also forgoes the screen protector. Wife had one of those last time around and her screen is cracked.
Update: (redid this cause for some reason it didn't show me as a verified purchase the first time... odd) Also I did find the best way to open this case is to use the handle from a basic fingernail clipper or a wide flathead screwdriver from my leatherman. Don't twist it, just push slightly and they unlock. This one is HARD to do with the fingers (at least right now). I suspect they made the connections stronger then before cause of how easy they were to break.
Most people want to customize their phone beyond how it looks out of the box and have some options in the future. I got my wife the G5 a couple days ago and she loved the way it looks but loved it even more after this case.
The case comes in an impressive plastic box with a cut out in the front and a company description on the back. Inside the box is the case and a detailed set of instructions on how to remove the case, along with some product information.
The case fits on easily enough. Remove the gold plastic ring that is on the outside of the case and fit the phone into the TPU shell. Then reapply the gold plastic ring. This is the most difficult part, since not all of the gold plastic ring wants to click in easily, especially around the volume buttons and across from the volume buttons. Once you get everything snapped in you're good to go. The back of the case comes up enough to protect the dual camera's sensors and on button and has a smooth and comfortable feeling downward slope that makes it easy to index the button without looking. The bottom portion of the downward slope is longer than the top portion so allow your finger to fit at the proper angle.
The back of the case is textured but does not feel rough and the side is smooth. The volume buttons are more or less flush with the side of the gold plastic ring portion, but are reliable and easy to use. The bottom has a cutout for the type-c port and speaker, as well as a cutout at the top for the 3.5mm jack and IR blasters. In these areas the gold plastic ring portion is positioned on one side of the cutout and does not go all the way around it.
There are a couple negatives about this case. First, since the back is textured it makes it difficult to securely affix a “fashion ring”, which my wife likes to use. She had this case on today and was holding the phone by the ring when the phone detached and fell to the ground. I'm happy say the case protected the phone fully from its first drop, but this slight niggle might make this case spend more time on a shelf than on the phone in the future. The other negative is that reinforcing ring looks a little too plasticky. I have about 10 other cases for this phone currently, and a few have metallic-looking parts that are plastic but manage to have a more metal look to it. The case is extremely well made, but the plastic ring detracts from the premium look of the case in my opinion.

3 Lazer Case for LG G5
finally recieved this case in the mail. To be honest, I was surprised at the high quality. When you're a maker of phones cases, it's dificult to make a name for yourself when you have companies like Spigen and Caseology as your competitors. Those companies have already established themselves.
What I liked most about this case was the attention to detail. Like the name suggests, the laser in the name really signifies how thought out everything seems. The cutouts were on point and the volume buttons were tactile, which always keeps me happy. The material for the case has a little bit of a rough touch to it. I'm on the fence about this. I think it's great for a more rugged person but not for all.
The packaging was the only thing that looked cheap. But I'd rathwr them cut money on that end than spend a bunch like Spigen for no real reason.
Overall, this is a great first Artech case to introduce itself. Spigen and Caseology may have a new competitor.
Below is my wife's reveiw
The only criticism I have at this point it is that it did not come with a screen protector which is absolutely vital for for my phones because they go through much abuse. Other than that amazing product crisis perfect great job company well done .

UAG Case For LG G5
The Urban Armor Gear Ash case for the LG G5 is the best looking for case for the LG G5. When I first brought my LG G5, I was not sure if I liked the look of it. I ordered this case and once I put it on the device, it gave my device a unique look. It gives the device a rugged military look. The device also has a nice lip when I drop my phone face first the lip of the case hits the ground first. If you have a LG G5 pick this case up.
I've dropped my phones only a handful of times. every time these cases saved my phone from what would have been catastrophic destruction in any other case.
I recently purchased the LG G5. I immediately purchased a UAG case(Ash), a wet apply screen protector and a longer charge cable. When the case arrived I was pleased at first but then. I noticed some inconsistencies having owned these cases before. The plastic and rubber feels much cheaper. The plastic is very slippery feeling in the hand. The rubber is hard, and where the cutouts are it's sharp and abrasive on your fingers. while holding the case the charge port sits on your pinky, with extensive use its very uncomfortable. also above the charge port the rubber is very thin and flimsy and feels like it might tear off.
Someone might gonna know the comparision between Otterbox and UAG . I have to say both of them are premium quality , but Otterbox is more bulky and have extra front panel protection also with a holster . UAG is a lightweight case , also cost 20 dollars less than otterbox
it actually up to yourself , i feel like the touch of Otterbox , but i do not mind to use UAG as daily drive

Case for battery change out.
Id like to find a case that I don't have to completely remove to change out the battery. Has anyone made something like this?

I have used a otter box since HTC evo 3g, since then I have never even bought a phone unless they made a case for it. I as well can go thru 3 or 4 charges a day. On my phone 24/7. But with fast charge and the strength of the otter box, I believe its a fair trade.

For $12.80 I will give it a shot, can't beat that price. I like that is has so many color options. Most companies have maybe 3 .

I'm actually really contemplating getting this case, does the phone have any wiggle room in the case at all? I hope not. Also how's ur screen quality as far as touch and appearance

I had that case on my G3 until it conked out. I can attest that the case is absolutely sturdy and rugged and could survive just about anything perhaps (besides bullets or being run over by an 18 wheeler). The built-in screen protector is god awful though so you'll have to cut it out and replace it with something else.
I didn't want the exact same case for my G5 so I got the Premium version of that case with the transparent back and metal studs:

The phone looks beautiful in it and it also carries the Military Standard 810G-516.6 drop protection, it doesn't include a screen protector but adding one yourself is highly preferable to a built-in one that you will have to replace right out of the box.
