ALL DEV's are freely allowed to use these ICONs for their custom ROMs.
Try these cool icons, I ported them from other custom ROMs. These work fine on Cynus T2 Jellybean ROM and will work fine on other ROM for that matter.
Replace the SystemUI.apk and Settings.apk, they are located @ /system/app/
Use Root Explorer. After replacing give permission rw-r--r--.

If your phone hangs right after copying files, don't worry remove battery, start and give permissions now and reboot again. It happens sometimes.
Download the attached 'New Icons.rar' it contains both SystemUI.apk and Settings.apk, extract and copy.

Very nice bro!
A small suggestion...best way to copy system files is connect to PC and use a dB push command.....
This is the best way ....no remove battery needed...
I listed the push commands on my blog

Hit THANKS if you like my work
Theres a simpler way. Download Hosts editor from playstore and then delete all hosts.. (There are many host files) . if you are using adaway or any adblocking app u have to apply them again as it will delete their hosts too..
---------- Post added at 03:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:48 PM ----------
I didnt check ur file. It mite b d same thing.. I just gave another method. if u feel flashing is better then my method mite b a little long fr u.

Hi,
At the moment, once you have succeed to root your P8max, what can you do next ?
Is it really necessary to root your P8max because right now you can't install the Xposed Framework.
So could you tell me what uses can we do with our P8max rooted, any examples ?
Thank you in advance for answering.
The main reason why I root is to use Titanium backup. I like to restore my app data as well as just the apps. It's useful to block ads sometimes too.
I used to root my phone for per app density, per app permission and Greenify. Now all these are already built into the OS so I guess there's no need for me to root at the moment.
Sent from my HUAWEI P8max using Tapatalk
i managed to make the speaker very loud with dolby atmos
Root is good for me to get rid of system bloatware. Titanium Backup is great. And many more root tweaks
What I did i s what I always do to phones! Slapped a Google launcher on top, plus all Google apps (use most of em) and case was solved for me

How did you do that?
I want the same :good:
For the first time (or maybe, the first time) am using my phone without root. TiBackup used to be the reason for root but this time around since I was using X2, I backed up using Huawei Backup and restored everything without any complications.

Hi,
You might know that there is no custom roms or bootloader unlock for the SM-J100Y.
While I was experimenting with an android kitchen, I have made a custom rom for the SM-J100Y.
It does not have the google play store or any other google apps. I wanted to make it kinda privacy based.
If you want to root the phone with the stock firmware or the custom rom here. You would have to download a edited boot.img file and use iRoot for pc. iRoot install ads and dangerous spyware, so please don't use it. I got F-Droid working by side loading it into /system/prev-app.
The custom rom features are:
Includes F-Droid without root permissions.
Fast to boot up and use.
Device status will not get changed to unofficial.
Only works on Australian SM-J100Y such as Optus Prepaid or other carriers.
In case anything goes wrong you can download the stock rom by searching "Stock rom for Samsung SM-J100Y" on Google.
To install it:
1. Make sure you have the stock rom installed and on a clean installation.
2. Open ODIN and click on AP and select the file you have downloaded.
3. Once done, your phone should reboot and the rom should have been installed.

Thank you. It worked.
This was the only rom which existed for the SM-J100Y.
Thanks.
+1 for F-Droid and rom. :fingers-crossed:
Thank you so much.
+1 for the only working rom.
Thanks.
+1 for good rom.
Hope you have a good day.
