I connected my micromax A111 to the computer via usb to use reverse tethering
after successfully connected , when iam going to download the images from whatsapp app. unfortunately the error is appear.
help me !
Depends on the way Ports are opened on the Tether. Please post device details so we can help further.

hello there... when i try to access my camera it says turn off usb storage first to use it... and when i download some apps from the internet directly from my phone it says it fails (same goes for bluetooth files if someone tries to send them).. how will i fix this?

Q) What we need to Connect PC Net Connection in Mobile
Ans ) you need Below things
1) Most important Root Phone
2) Data Cable
3) Reverse Tethering Software (Link attached here)
Good thing of this is If you have a broadband Connection to your Computer.... You get good speed like a computer.... Connection.
How to Use?????
1st u need to download ReverseTethering Tool from below attached link

When Download compete extract this zip to any drive ( Recommanded in C: Drive)
Then Connect your Phone with debugging mode on ( U need to install drivers 1st if u connect ur phone with pc 1st time in)
Then Open AndroidTool
Select a device ( If not shown Hit refresh button and From dropdown menu u will select ur device)
Then hit connect button it will take some process It will ask root access also grant request of root access...
When process Compete Now ur Connected......

but you cant install/update your apps via play store i think.. its only for browsing and may be downloading something..
any ways to use play store also ?
bro in my case that apps install automaticly.... and bro if u want to use play store u can use but when u download it says waiting for data connection but i got solution just enable data connection with ur sim and then connect ur phone internet i will b work 100% becoz m using it....

i m new to android system. , i have micromax canvas fun a63 with android 4.2.2.
i found an option of "USB Internet" in Settings->Wireless & Networks->More..
it says "Sharing Windows PC internet via USB cable"
i want to know more about this feature. i am not sure if this is similar to reverse tethering.. please tell me more about this and how it works.
is there anyone here who actually used this feature in windows 8 and can answer me satisfactory ....

i have windows 8.1 so how to use this option , can you tell me procedure?
i have installed universal ADB android drivers using PDAnet.
when i connect my phone with pc using this option (USB Debugging on) it shows a new network connection named "Remote NDIS based Internet Sharing Device".
i have some question regarding the procedure.
1) Installed drivers are ok or not?
2) Is PC studio required for this process?
3) How to share my dialup connection.
4) what should be firewall status for this method?
5) will i need to configure mobile network or browser for this?

I have just gotten an ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7 which has the same option under settings. I am using Windows 7, but also unable to figure out how to share my internet connection via USB cable. Any help would be welcomed.

works on android 4.2.2 (dont know about 4.2.2+ devices)
I HAVE XOLO A600 AND IT WORKED PERFECTLY FOR ME
I HAVE FOLLOWED FOLLOWING STEPS
1. Settings->Wireless & Networks->More..
2. Usb internet.
3. select PC system version.
4.tab on NEXT.
5. tab on DONE.
6. Now in pc open "NETWORK AND SHARING CENTER.
7. right click on connection you want to share. for example "ethernet" on my computer.
8. click PROPERTIES.
9. click on SHARING tab.
10. click on "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection".
11. now choose newly added network which represents USB internet in "HOME NETWORKING CONNECTION" and click ok.
12. now you should be able to access internet on your android device.
IF NOT THEN YOUR FIREWALL SHOULD BE BLOCKING THE NETWORK SHARING.
TRY TO ALLOW NETWORK SHARING IN FIREWALL OR JUST TURN OFF YOUR FIREWALL.

I reverse tethered my phone now i can access internet from my phone but the problem is that play store and other apps in my phone shows its not connected to internet i tried xposed framework and loaded module hack connectify but it bricked my device now can anyone help me ? thanks

I have
1- mobile Samsung galaxy note 2 running android resurrection remix lollipop 5.1.1
2- computer running ubuntu 10.16
bluetooth on my mobile showing my computer is connected and under paired devices showing name ubuntu and used for has a check mark next to the only option there (audio media)
bluetooth on my computer my mobile showing connected (on) paired (yes) under bluetooth settings
every time I send a file from my mobile to my computer it fails with stating (connection unsuccesful)
every time I send a file from my computer to my mobile ubuntu states experienced an internal error and gives me 2 options send the error report or ignore it - I tried to send file from my computer to my mobile once via bluetooth setting and once via bluetooth manager but both fail with the same error.
Can anyone help me fix this problem, please?

Both operating systems may be the culprit
The only options you have are
1- get a log from your phone and send it to your rom developer , he can figure out if there`s something rom with the bluetooth in his rom
2- try to pair and transfer files using other devices , this way you`ll know if your computer or your phone have a problem
