[Q] one+1 un-brickable? I think not... - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

OK, been searching for a week, obsessively, to find a fix for this. No luck.
I tried flashing the aosp ROM from official miui v5 through twrp and have been left with this.
1. Bootloader locked, Tamper bit engaged, and running stock recovery with a signature that cannot verify anything. (I mean anything, cannot even reflash the same ROM, factory signed, nothing)
2. What's this? It starts up? It can't be bricked? Oh wait why did it just reboot upon network connection? Right! Persistent has been destroyed/corrupted! Fun stuff.
3. SDD called internal? Sdd gone? Yes, yes it is. Everything has changed which is why I can't DD/ the persistent!!
4. Tried every toolkit (except the mac os one which resets tamper) and been through every internet page ever. Before i embarked upon this mission to unbrick the unbrickable id never heard of a data dump, persistant, or .tar. Now I never want to hear of them again. I have tried everything except the backdoor adb route because the Qualcomm drivers won't install on my 64bit win8.1.
If anyone, anywhere, knows how I can put back to stock, aosp, caulkins, anything, have a heart, help a man!

This honestly is very confusing. I had to read what you wrote a couple of times to try and comprehend what the problem is.
Have you tried using fastboot without any toolkit? I ask because you haven't mentioned it anywhere. Persist can be fixed by fastbooting back to pure stock, and Mike's fix on the OnePlus forums, and/or updating to 44S.
Can you tell us what errors you get when you try to reflash the same rom? What recovery are you running? Which rom were you trying to reflash?

I have to agree with @nicholaschum, your post is very vague and confusing in its present form, and I'm a pretty seasoned troubleshooter on XDA.
What's needed? Less emotion, less comic type speech, less sarcasm, more specifics and facts.

If I try to sideload, it says either signature failed or whole signature failed.
Anything i push does not get pushed and I have tried multiple drivers from the galaxy ones that come in the reflash.zip from the one plus tech support to the Google ones I am using now.
If I try to fastboot through toolkit it says failed, not unlocked can't flash/erase. If I fastboot through cmd it says error: closed. I do all my checks, and it shows up in fastboot and adb but won't let me send anything.
The phone boots up for about 15 in is before restarting, the only way to get files on are to drop them in explorer within these 15secs, to internal storage, which used to be my sdcard.
I have tried flashing/side loading multiple ROMs from miui, 44s, 33r all signed to caulkins and mahdi. Nothing has worked (and the aosp OTA).
I cannot unlock bootloader, cannot reset tamper, cannot load GUI for more than 15 secs, and cannot root (although kermal already says it is, I suspect su needs to be in place).
I have also tried fastboot -c boot recovery.IMG (and recovery recovery.IMG) but no luck still. Is there a PC version of the Mac toolbox that can reset tamper? At least then I could unlock bootloader and install twrp and flash.
Thanks for the help
Josh

Still sounds like a driver issue imo.
First uninstall ALL previous drivers you have tried from device manager.
Installing one driver after another often causes conflicts.
Then download the official Android SDK and install Google USB driver. Google for instructions if needed but everything is pretty much straight forward.
This driver has the biggest chance of success.
After that you're off to start fixing your phone using fastboot and adb.

OK have done this on both a 32 and 64 bit win 8.1 systems. Exact same result. Error: closed or not unlocked no flash/erase for everything fastboot, and e: can't verify signature/whole-signature e: verification failed. I tried adb explorer through adb sideload and error:closed again. Does this mean the adb protocol for accepting is closed? No idea.
I have a feeling it is something on the phone rather than computer now? Done everything on a 32 bit now and everything is the same and had no drivers previously. And just to be clear when I say stock recovery, I don't mean cwm I mean
android system recovery 3e
KTU84P. 1.2.0 dev-keys

For the fastboot bit, I've seen this happen a lot. Many people used this to solve their issue: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/development/mod-reset-unlock-tamper-bit-t2820912

[Q] HTC One S(ville) black screen, thats it... just a black screen, what can i do???

I was working fine, enjoying my new HTC One S with CM9 rom installed. Well the battery life wasnt the best on it, and i didnt install the custom kernel. So I looked for the custom kernel download(on my phone, not on my computer) and i found a .zip file. Well I thought that you could just download the kernel straight to my phone and open it up with "Rom Manager" which i did, it than said i needed to reboot the phone in recovery to continue the installation, so I did... it took me to recovery "to continue the installation" well than I looked away, looked backed down and it was black.... and i have tried powering up, booting into boot loader, booting into recover, and nothing... its just BLACK! nothing works, its literally useless ATM. I really messed up, is there anyway to fix this? Thanks in advanced!
----EDIT----
I think I accidentally flashed the kernel like i would normally flash a rom.... cause i downloaded the .zip file(directly to my phone, not using a computer), than i tapped the download and it asked me if i wanted to open it up with rom manager, so i did. and i think rom manager thought i was flashing a rom, when i wasnt, it was a kernel.... am i screwed? or is there anyway out of this?
Do you know the exact kernel you flashed--where did it come from
Some you need to extract and push
Assume you just tried to boot into bootloader thru phone buttons
Does your pc recognize your phone when plugged in, if so can you open a command window and try to access phone as in adb devices then adb reboot bootloader
assuming you are familiar with sdk adb/fastboot comands
otherwise i don't know what else to say--may be bad--sorry
Came from an XDA thread
Here is where it came from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1708676 from "sun90" (half way down the page "CM9 KERNEL remix edition.zip - [Click for QR Code] (5.53 MB, 9 views) ")
i downloaded that straight to my phone and opened it up with Rom Manager, which i think the app took it as a rom, and installed it like a rom even though it was not a rom. I just tried to access it through adb, it comes up with no devices my PC does recognize it when i plug it in though...
Ive tried to get into bootloader tons of times, it just stays black... :'(
Thanks for your answer!
You flashed a galaxy s2 kernel on your one s? why would you ever think that was a smart thing to do?
Looking at the updater script in that zip it seems it wipes some partitions, the partitions on a SGS2 and the ONE S are different, so if that script accidentally wiped say the hboot partition, or some other critical-for-boot partition, you have a fully bricked phone.
For any devs that may know what partitions are what on the One S, the script wiped
mmcblk0p7, and wrote a zimage to mmcblk0p5
---EDIT---
Normally this is a cwm flashable zip on the Samsung Galaxy S II, which is why rom manager flashed it, as it met all the requirements, the only issue is, it was not made for the ONE S and probably overwrote some important things.
I tried for hours and hours to fix the same issue on a friend's One S (same symptoms, not same cause) to no avail. I tried QPST and telnet and a ridiculous amount of things. Had to bring it to the store and get a new one.
Good luck, but I don't believe there's anything you can do to fix it.
Just answered your question in the help thread, Didnt see this thread too !
Im afraid its not looking good, I think your best bet would be to call your provider and blame it on an OTA update.
And hope for the best
Alright, thanks for the help!
Well it looks like i bricked my phone than.... I thought that CM9 was only on the One S, so I just looked for the CM9 kernel, which obviously was for the sg2, i feel like such a dumb ass now! haha well thanks for all the help guys! ill be heading to the t-mobile store today to blame it on a OTA:]
yeah, others wont agree with what your about to do but........
just act like a complete noob, dont mention anything about software / firmware / ROMs / bootloader etc ect
just say your phone made a noise, you selected update and it died lol
good luck--I know it is heartbreaking
not sure of your situation with carrier, but you could go thru Retention if needed
Hi peeps.
i'm very new to all this but sort of know the basics
i'm running on Axiom now but tried to flash cm10 but after install i got a black screen so had to do a restore.
Today i just flashed venom and after the instal process is done, i hear the start up music but nothing on the screen.
I have had 3 other roms on my phone and never had a problem!
these are the steps i do
download rom - place on sd
put phone in recovery
reset factory
reset cache
install from sd
when it finish's reboot
blank screen.
Am i missing something?
Any help would be great and i can't post on the thread because i'm a noob with less than 10 and dont want to spam my way to the 10 :silly:
you are missing a lot, like reading the OP page and following install instructions
you missed separate flash of boot image and wiping system plus data and caches
i wipe system 3x to be safe

it will not connect via usb, i discovered the the SD was not mounted.
I tried to mount the SD but it doesnt work, so i rebooted to recovery and tried to mount there but its coming up with - error unable to mount? ive tried everything but no joy

I've got a mac
not sure what fastboot is.
I'll check out the link, and thank you very much for trying to help:good:
sorry i do know what fastboot is, yes can get in to it. but ive gone from CWM to teamwin recovery if i go in to the recovery section but that wont let me do anything because the mount. cant even load the phone up
I don't know Mac commands
My idea is to install htc drivers and set up fastboot/adb on pc--the info can be found in dev section on rooting
then open a command window and and boot into fastboot and flash a new recovery, maybe stock per the link, clear storage and try to get mounted
how did you unlock bootloader--
you will need to do alot of reading on adb/fastboot and flashing roms--first step is to have backups of rom and sdcard
since i don't the Mac commands to do fastboot, someone else will chime in at some point
you can alos go to the noob section in Q&A and resubmit your issue
someone will work you thru this, but in meantime study up on android sdk/fastboot/adb. a necessity to get out of these problems
you are not bricked, just need the info and right steps to get back on track

Wingray - Internal Storage has been wiped, and I'm out of my depth.

My friend gave me his bricked Xoom, which I accepted as a challenge, because I've been rooting and flashing my phones for years, but after 10+ hours of searching in the last couple weeks, I have been unable to locate coherent information on how to un-brick a Xoom that has had its internal storage wiped. My friend was trying to do a thorough wipe, and he succeeded in that, if nothing else.
My first obstacle was finding a driver, because Motorola Device Manager wants nothing to do with the Xoom, and whenever I finally found a link to a driver, it was at developer.motorola.com, and there apparently is no such domain, because every link takes me straight to motorola.com/us/home, where all that's waiting for me is the bloody Moto Device Manager.
The only post I found that seemed like it was aiming at where I want to get is at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317986, but I ran into problems that weren't foreseen by the author, and I haven't been able to find anything pertinent that doesn't direct me to developer.motorola.com again.
The Xoom has TWRP v.2.6.3.0(runandhide05 edition) for a recovery; and I'm aware that there is a 3.3 version, but I'm nervous about flashing a recovery update when there is no OS on the tablet. It was running EOS 4.2.2 I think, before the bricking.
According to the guide I found, I put TWRP into adb sideload and was able to get my PC to communicate by installing a universal adb driver from https://github.com/koush/UniversalAdbDriver, so in my system Device Manager, the Xoom is listed as a GOOGLE GALAXY NEXUS ADB INTERFACE.
When TWRP is in adb sideload, I can interface with the Xoom via cmd.exe, but when I try to push a ROM, I keep getting an error on TWRP:
Code:
file_getprop:failed to stat "/system/build.prop" no such file or directory
...whatever that means. Another thing that kind of worries me is that when I type adb devices, it shows my device as 1234567890ABCDEF, which doesn't seem right.
I have yet to try fastboot, because I don't know what .img files I need to flash, and I don't think blind flashing is going to make things any better.
I think I have all the pieces, SDK and JDK are installed and updated, and I have the stock rom (HWI69.zip). I reckon if I can get the stock 3.x OS running, I'll have a jumping-off point, and be good to go; the process from there is well-documented.
Can anyone give me a nudge in the right direction, please?

Status 7 errors
Those are usually caused by either a not-so-compatible recovery image. Some TWRP versions have issues with certain ROMs. I had this happen to me with my Asus TF300, ended up trying a few different TWRP versions before I found one that worked right.
The other cause is an invalid ROM image, if you open the ROM.zip file on your PC, does it look ok, did you check its MD5sum???
Were you able to wipe the Xoom from TWRP without error???
-Mike
When I got it, it had been wiped completely, so I presume that twrp wiped okay.
Not sure about the MD5sum, just that twrp didn't find one during the adb installation. Do you think flashing cwm might help?.
I got it worked out, opened up the HWI69.zip stock image and fastboot flashed the individual .img files, and it booted right up. Thanks!

Bootloop 2013 Moto G Boost Mobile XT1031 8GB

Hey guys!
To start, I want to say what an amazing place XDA is and how much information and knowledge you can get from here and how awesome the moderators are. I don't think I could ever find another amazing and/or helpful community such as those found here! Thanks to all who have helped me out with my Android issues!
Now to my issue and I apologize ahead of time if there is another thread (or related thread) found in the forum.
As the title states, I have a 2013 Motorola Moto G XT1031 Boost Mobile device. I had upgraded it to Lollipop 5.0.2 or 5.1 when it came out (I can't remember which one it was) and I had then decided to root it. I can say that I believe I was successful in rooting the device because I was able to install Supersu and use RootChecker to verify the install. Everything was going okay until i decided to research and eventually install a custom recovery and attempt to install a custom ROM. Well, let's just say that the recovery install was a bust...
In doing my research for a custom recovery, I found that TWRP had a custom recovery for my phone and apparently for my firmware via TWRP's app on the Play Store. So, I searched for my device in their in-app search for a custom recovery, downloaded it and installed it from the app. Now, my gut told me that this probably wouldn't work and that I should probably be installing a custom recovery via CLI. Nope. I didn't do this. Instead, like I said, I installed a custom recovery from the app itself. That screwed things up for me. I have no idea if it was the install, but my phone began to act incredibly strange. When in the TWRP recovery, my screen had this line that would continuously scroll from top to bottom. It wasn't a completely solid line, but it was transparent, almost like an empty thermometer glass stick was going down the screen. It was weird and not normal. I figured the phone's software was partially broken. It only did this in the TWRP recovery. Nowhere else did this happen. It was slightly annoying.
Later on I decided to install a custom ROM. Again, I did the necessary research to find out if there were any ROMs available for my phone (using XDA of course and others) and found that there were a few out there. So, I downloaded one (wish I could remember which one) and attempted to install it...keyword there. After attempting the install, my phone would not boot. Like at all. Dead. So back to the drawing board I went to try and reverse the damage. Using XDA (ironically) and a plethora of other sites, I tried to resurrect my phone and bring it back to life. After countless hours of trying and trying and trying and more and more research, I just gave up. The phone is dead. Great. $170 spent on a phone to break it a year later.
It's been roughly 4-5 months since I have attempted to redo the process and after another minor attempt, somehow I was able to remove the root completely, including the custom recovery and ROM. I don't know what the heck I did, but it worked....sort of. The phone is now stuck in a bootloop on the logo and sometimes the "bootloader has been unlocked" screen when try and factory reset the phone from the default recovery. When trying to reinstall the stock firmware, I read everywhere that I need the phone to have USB-debugging set and to have this and that. I have this and that installed on my PC, but obviously cannot enable USB-debugging which is needed for ADB and fastboot to recognize my device.
So, my question for anyone who would like to help me out is this: what are my options? Is the phone recoverable? Is there any way I can get ADB/fastboot to see my device and finally install the stock firmware on the phone? I have the proper drivers installed and ADB/fastboot are on my PC. Any help would be amazing, even if you have to tell me to junk it.

This is incorrect, where did you read that? To reinstall the stock firmware using fastboot, you must be able to boot to the bootloader menu only.
I heard this from a few websites actually, although I could never find a situational fix for my phone. I am trying to restore back to Lollipop without a custom recovery, because within the past hour I found out TWRP was never fully removed when I tried booting into recovery from the AP Fastboot menu when doing to power+vol down option. The TWRP logo shows for about 10 seconds and then the phone tries booting normally, showing the unlocked bootloader warning.
So, yes I can boot into the bootloader menu all day long with no problems. It's just an selection I make doesn't get me anywhere. My question I guess now is: how do I go about reinstalling stock firmware via the bootloader menu. I have Minimal ADB and Fastboot installed on my PC. If I need the full ADB, I can download that. And of course I'd need the firmware, too.

I am trying to follow the steps listed here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219&page=35 and for some reason I cannot run any of the commands pertaining to the sparsechunks. This is what I get:
Is there anything you could tell me about that?
Edit: I was able to figure what the issue was when trying to write the sparsechunks. I had to insert a "." after 'sparsechunk' because that is how the file is named in the folder. However, now I am getting a new error, but it takes place on the phone screen. Every time I attempt to write a sparsechunk, it will initiate the process of doing so, but on the phone I'll get what appears to be an error saying, "Image is too large" in pink lettering. Why does this happen? Each sparsechunk file is at least 4MB less than the max-sparse-size according to the ADB and my phone, which is set to 256MB. Is there any way to change that?

Check which sparsechunk files you have and make sure you flash all of them in ascending order. If it still fails, copy/paste the contents of your command prompt window (no screenshots please).

I will try that. There was a ...sparsechunks.0 as well apart from sparsechunks.1, sparsechunks.2 and sparsechunks.3. Shall I include that, too?
And adding the screenshot was an amateur mistake. My bad.

No operating system found.

Totally new to xda forum, and pretty much a noob. Nexus 5 (US model). I was trying to unroot my Nexus 5. I bought it from a friend who had rooted it using TWRP, and it was running CM. Anyway, I managed to completely wipe the operating system ... completely. It will boot using the power/volume down configuration, but when I try to start the phone, it says, "No operating system found." All the threads I have been reading (yes, I have done a lot of reading), assume a couple of things: 1) that the phone can get into Settings/Developer Mode; and, 2) that my PC finds my phone when I plug it in. I have tried the adb and fastboot driver downloads, and wound up with some weird app that was almost impossible to uninstall off my PC. Ten-something or other. I tried doing the flash-all thing, but got a message that there was no such command. Can anyone help me, either directly, or by links to what I need? Once again, I have no operating system on this phone. Thanks.

Did you say you can still get into recovery? Because there's an unroot rom thats flashable somewhere... Itd take you to stock everything.....

I second that recommendation. With a caveat. Wugfresh's Nexus Root Toolkit is a superb piece of programming which should enable you to set up your PC with all the necessary drivers and also let you specify the ROM you want to install, download it for you, and install it. You should obviously take the latest MMB29V.
But...
I see that you've done a lot of reading, and I understand that Android is initlally hard to grasp, but please don't (a) think you'll never understand it and (b) think that NRT is the answer to all your problems - it isn't. There are lots of reports of people saying "NRT has broken my phone" either because the've used it incorrectly or because they've used it before Wug has had a chance to update it to cater for all the latest tweaks that Google have introduced (particularly on Marshmallow root). If you're careful, set up your drivers properly, and install the correct version for your phone (Hammerhead MMB29V), NRT should give you back a working phone. But after that, read more, and investigate manual update methods, which are particularly useful for installing the monthly security updates without losing your data or waiting for the OTA (over-the-air) rollout from Google.

I'm in the fastboot mode, and I can get into TWRP, but I can't get my PC to recognize the phone. I've followed every rabbit trail I can find, but the phone doesn't show up. The USB ports are fine, and all the USB drivers are up to date. This is what is on my phone screen:
FASTBOOT MODE
PRODUCT NAME - hammerhead
VARIANT - hammerhead D820(E) 32GB
HW VERSION - rev. 11
BOOTLOADER VERSION - HHZ12k
The rest is serial number and so forth. I can get into TWRP, but can't ADB Sideload because the phone is not showing up. Giving me an error 43.

All the threads I have been reading (yes, I have done a lot of reading), assume a couple of things: 1) that the phone can get into Settings/Developer Mode; and, 2) that my PC finds my phone when I plug it in. Thanks.

I don't disagree with the NRT suggestion but am confused. Sorry if I'm missing something obvious. When you are in the bootloader, do you get a cmd response from "fastboot devices" (no quotes in the command)? ADB doesn't work from the bootloader as you probably know, but since you identify as a noob, thought I'd throw it out there. You can flash the system using fastboot commands if your PC recognizes (part of the confusion) the device in fastboot. If not, then you do need to get the drivers set up. If you just need adb/fastboot drivers, I recommend this which I used recently when NRT didn't seem to have the SDK version I needed for my N9 to sideload the latest OTA. Since it installs at the system level, you can place flashable files at the root of C rather than in a specific platform-tools folder. I'm on Windows 10; don't know if that makes any difference for this minimal install. As far as the flash-all. bat not working, that's not uncommon; the files can be extracted and flashed separately.

bootloop - question on how to proceed

I sold my tf700 to a friend, and let him know: Do not factory reset through the Android settings. Well, He passed it on to someone else, and forgot to mention this. So, that whole TWRP bootloop scenario exists. Dug through forums, found a post where someone had made some file that resets the boot process to not go immediately to TWRP or something, IIRC, but regardless, I've got a custom-made solution, and even wrote a batch file to automate the thing (given the amount of time you have the TWRP screen before it reboots) much like the OP had.
Here's the problem: my desktop doesn't recognize the usb device when I plug in to windows. IIRC, I'd always had some kinda issue with that version of TWRP, but I never addressed that, and that fell by the wayside apparently. I don't have time to sanitize my PC and re-establish the ASUS driver environment or other advanced trickery or whatever, and I just sold my laptop prior to trying on that. My question to you fine folks is this: If I were to install Ubuntu or some other Linux-based environment, would my odds increase in terms of being able to coax TWRP to be recognized so I can flash this tiny little file over and get the thing back running? Apparently windows just doesn't want to, and short of being able to put a newer TWRP on the device, I've got to establish a usb connection somehow.
TIA :good:

Well yes and no.
Linux works much better with adb/fastboot, but if it it easier to install Linux and get it working if you have never used it compared to getting Windows drivers working - idk....

I figured that would probably be the case. Now, it's been several years since I've used Linux (Ubuntu Feisty Fawn was the last time I used Linux, and that was just to hack a first gen Xbox), but i'm a command-line based OS guy from the days of old, so I oughta be okay. I'm sure one of the various and sundry tutorials here on xda will help should I get stuck.
So, that being said, I guess I just need to install a distro and grab some adb/fastboot drivers for Linux? Or is that all built in? Is the command line interface sufficient, or will I need some GUI like xwindows (sorry if my info is horribly dated, lol.)
I'd probably better do some reading.

I cam across this live distro recently and the dev included the tools needed for adb fastboot. It works great! https://forum.xda-developers.com/an.../live-iso-adb-fastboot-driver-issues-t3526755
There also several Puppy Linux distros out there which may be interesting since they offer persistent mode already but afaik you have to download the adb fastboot binaries yourself. But that's it - no drivers needed.
With those installed you just need as terminal window. No other gui necessary

This is just the tip I needed. Big thanks!
Well, i assembled the troops- universal naked driver and minimal adb/fastboot on a fresh win 8.1 install. Bootit.ko file in my adb folder. Opened adb, plugged in tablet. Twrp starts. Hear the USB plug in noise, so adb is ready. Adb devices command, shows up recovery like it should. I then run a batch command to automate:
adb push bootit.ko /sdcard/
adb shell insmod /sdcard/bootit.ko
... as per the directions. I get this in response:
adb: error: connect failed: protocol fault <couldn't read status>: no error
on the first command, and 'no device found' on the second.
Now what?
Edit: nevermind. Added 'adb devices' to the batch file and it did it fast as anything. Lol.
New kink: adb command succeeded and i got fastboot access. Formatted 'misc' partition and rebooted-- still with the bootloop. I can still access fastboot, but that's it. Twrp always restarts. So, did SWIM bork the recovery partition too? Wondering if I should try re-flashing twrp, or downloading the original ASUS blob file and restarting from square one?
Edit:
Got impatient, started trying things. Links found thru the forums pointing to original ASUS rom blob are all broken, so i settled for starting with twrp. Downloaded freshest version from twrp.me compatible with the device and flashed it-- same result upon attempting to open twrp.
Took a break. Thought about it, and decided to fastboot erase recovery, and try flashing twrp again. Probably not a great idea... Now I get
Sending 'staging' <7210 kb>...
FAILED <data transfer failure (unknown error)>
So I guess there's a step after erasing to re-init the partition or something?
Just a note to anyone lurking - don't do stuff if you're only half-informed. You can be stupid and impatient like me and have broken stuff.
Impatience is a very bad advisor...
As long as you have fastboot you should be ok. Asus seems to have messed with their website again or they finally took the support pages down permanently.
I have a copy on my server and can upload it tonight.
Patience my friend, patience

This is too true. That's why I threw in that little blurb. :good:
I'll await your link with bated breath.
Ok here's the 10.6.1.14.10 firmware:

Don't forget to check the md5 once downloaded
You may de-bate your breath again

Debate my breath? Well, my breath reeks of Marijuana... I think it's a liberal.
Lol
Just a question: since I'll be repopulating all the partitions with the stock blob, does that affect my unlocked bootloader, or is it gonna be straight up manufacturer reset? I'm sure that's covered in the threads that address the 'buster99' process, but I need to go locate the thread. I didn't fully digest the thread as i'd yet to find the blob I could d/l, until you hooked it up. ?
No, you cannot relocate the bootloader. Flash away

Ugh, corrupt archive. ? trying to download from a different server this time.
Edit: same results w/new download. Repairing the archive didn't help either.
Asus, ya'll are killing me! Every link on the interweb linking to a TF700 firmware is broken, and all that can be found are for the 700kl.
Final update:
Found a valid download link for 10.6.1.14.8. Had some difficulties with it (revived the post on the buster99 process) -- followed as written, and had a fail on the last process <invalid state>. Being super impatient (mentioned *that* before, lol), I decided to try and reestablish twrp, as that was the original issue. That took! Flashed 3.0.0-1 (iirc), was able to open twrp, but couldn't mount system or anything. So I formatted the crap out of all partitions, converted /data to f2fs, and was able to successfully flash katkiss nougatella. Wiped the caches, rebooted, and I'm golden! 3 months later, and it finally works.
Moral of the story: don't sell rooted devices to ppl who don't understand what that entails. You can tell a person till ur blue in the face, NO FACTORY WIPE VIA ANDROID -- Odds are, they'll forget. Worked out for me in the long run (took back the 700 and gave a 201 as replacement), but i was never sure I'd come out clean on the other end.
I have similar problem, i can't even go to bootloader.
Just keep bootlooping. Is there any chance of reviving my tf700t?
If yes please advice me step by step process to do that.
Thanks
Not enough information. What can you get to?
What's your ROM, bootloader, recovery?

Thanks you already help on other thread.
It's a long story how this happened.
By the way I was running nougtell version don't remember as it happened in January.
I wanted to transfer some video files on my usb 2tb hard drive, so I did usb otg connection to my tab, i did this thing before and I use es file explorer to do the transfer, few occasions es file hang or whole tablet hang so I have to restart. But in January when this thing happened it just went into bootlooping i can go to fastboot but not recovery or android.
Then I search on many thread i couldn't find any working solution.
My cable was not detecting tab so I couldn't able to push recovery., But the same cable was ok for charging.
Then I bought new cable from eBay it took around a month to arrive.
But in mean time being impatient i tried data wipe from bootloader.
Then even i couldn't able to bootloader after that.
I know being impatient with doing something like this is not good you have to suffer.
Bootloader was latest version .14 at the end and recovery was 3.0.1
Using nogtella rom
Thanks
