I am on stock rom and Franco.Kernel, and after a factory reset my phone is now bootlooping. Help please?
Solved.
Phone is rooted with Kingo Root. Even when it wasn't rooted yet, it still didn't want to reset to factory settings. Just restarts when I try to reset. Tried soft and hard resets without success. Cannot flash custom recovery. Tried everything from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2671387
All goes well untill I try to flash the recovery. Then again phone restarts and nothing more. I just want to reset it to factory defaults.
Anyone?
Help!

So i unrooted my One mini..I now want to do a factory reset..When i do it through the settings it says rebooting but then opens bootloader..I then tried factory reset through bootloader but it just reboots to bootloader again..Any help guys?
Currently running 5.0.2 - D80130b stock with root.
If I do a factory reset, will I need to root the phone again?
Thanks a bunch.
Answering my question myself.
I did the reset via Settings menu and the system rebooted to TWRP, and then reset again into the main screen. SU came right up without any issues.
So, the answer is no, you won't lose root if you do factory reset from the settings.
Now, this does NOT delete the internal storage, so do not forget to delete all the pictures/messages/etc. prior to doing the reset (or format the user storage area prior to reset).
If i install stock firmware thrug odin will my phone will be factory reset
i have stock root
No it won't be reset.
