two words in title is enough for describing question. ^^
Came here to ask the same thing. I see the AirMirror isn't supported in 5.0 anyway so I'm not missing that much, but it would still be nice to not have to go to the site just to use the rest of the features.
me too
come on, open your eyes...
I'm here because of windows client adv! I hate that stuff
PC
They have big, bold "Mac or PC" advertisement, so I somehow assumed that PC is supported with any OS... Was I mistaken?
Does this application use .NET framework?
Would be cross platform using Qt framework...

Common misconception people these days consider PC as Windows based Personal Computers. *facepalm*

PrinterShare ( mobile Dynamix) finds and prints to the available wifi / lan printers. Works on mine. They have drivers for most printers, and a bunch of generic drivers. The evaluation copy is free, but only prints a test page, which lets you verfiy that it can print.

My Fault, didn't have it in front of me.
how difficult would it be for the community to come together an develop an open source app to print? i haven't played with android development at all yet, but this seems like a pretty important function to make android more useful
i wonder if bits of other open source printing projects might carry over and cross compile? not really familiar with the sdk yet

tbh you could probably just set up and ftp server on ur computer and make a folder called "printme" or something and then make an app that will act whenever that folders contents change and will print the file and then remove the file from the folder and you have a makeshift ftp print server lol then just use any of the many FTP programs for android to throw files on there
found this:
http://www.technospot.net/blogs/how-to-continuously-auto-print-files-in-a-directory/
maybe that will help, just use that app to make it print anything in your "printme" directory and then also make it an ftp folder so that when you throw something into it over FTP it will print it...ill try it when i get home
Hey,
Is there a Keylogger for mine HTC HD2? I want a log of all things typed on mine phone.
Thanks,
Zulfikar
As our HD2 hasn't (an awful lot of) hardwarebuttons, it should be impossible...

i think it's not depending on the hardware keys.
theoretically it should be possible. there must be some possibility to register a function into the message queue for key-events in winmobile. and key-events might be hardware-keys and e.g. letters from the sip.
@hebbe you have right. Is no matter if keyboard is hw or virtual bcoz keylogger catch specific data in i/o system.

Thats exactly what my thoughts where lol.
Same was mine...
I presume that you are looking for the keylogger running silently in the background, perhaps sending the traced activity via SMS?
lol, just thinking that aswell...
i just want.to see the typed.things on mine phone when I.give.mine phone to someone else...
Just make a search on google, you will get a lot, just pay for a trustful Mobile Spy.
You can get a lot keylogger when you will search on Google. Also, you can try it now:https://www.windows-keylogger.com/english.html
Is there anyway to redirect computer keyboard input from the computer to the HD2? This would be useful to type texts in the device using my computer keyboard.
I don't want something like My Mobiler since I don't want to see the whole screen but only to redirect input.
After all, I just want to use my keyboard like a bluetooth keyboard, but using and activesync usb connection...
Bluetooth ...burp

Thanks, but that applications does not seem to let me type an SMS using my computer keyboard (at least from the description)...
It does.
Try it, and uninstall it if I am lying. I've updated the link to the developer's website.

Thank you very much!
I know.

Mymobiler is a great app to access windows phone with computer, you can do all kinds of stuff there including download weather info by wifi from computer instead of GPRS.

I know that, but I don't want full control over the device, just being able to text...
If you're already connected to wifi, why would you need your computer to update weather info?
I have WiFi Remote Access installed on my HTC HD2. How exactly does it allow the use of a PC keyboard to be used through it on my HD2? I've looked and looked and see no setting for using a PC keyboard.
Bump......
Try some remote contrl app so you can use any function of your phone on your computer...
But I'm not sure whether there is any working with wireless connection.

Too bad I cannot make this work because of my wireless network settings. I have a very secured access using MAC filters so that is probably why. The 1.7 is only a trial version right? It says on the website it has a timebombthat will go off sometime in June. Besides this app, any other app that can do the same thing? Thanks.

No, 1.7 Beta 2 is timebombed (it has more features). R1 is stable and works like a charm.
Visit here for the detail.
Why the need for such secure MAC filters? Do you work for the NSC or something? Why not relax your settings, give it a try... if you don't like Wifi Remote Access' features, then ditch it and secure your router like Fort Knox again.
dude just try pocket controller, its great i use it to see my device on my screen and controll it fully, it even lets me skin the session with the right device skin..

How did you know who I worked for??? Lol. My router is weird, I cannot connect to my network if I disable MAC filtering, which is really annoying since I have to add every single device that I want to connect. It took me a while to get that router figured out and I don't want to lose my connection so maybe I will try this app at work.
Okay, have 1.7 installed and still don't see the keyboard options.
Eh...it's on the desktop application under Remote Controls. It requires an access code, which would cause the program to likely be disabled after a period of time. I'll stick with the basic app.

Ah yes here's the other recent thread I forgot about: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1831903
It occurred to me that I have finally found a slightly positive aspect of all these people just plainly ignoring (or declining to use) the search function (or even just browsing the first two to three pages in a forum!): it ups our post count considerably.
I'm going to make a freaking macro for this, so I can type a specific bad word (suggestions welcome), it gets replaced with a diplomatic reply (phrasings welcome) that tells the OP to use the darned search function.
Hi,
There is a browser extension for PC like this one:
Autofill
The most popular autofill extension, boosting productivity since 2010.
chrome.google.com
That can auto fill text fields of your choosing and not just addresses or payments info. I am looking for a way to do that but on Android.
I'm not really too sure, but I know when I lightly searched running "browser extensions" on Android OS, while mobile Chrome won't run them, there are other browsers (don't ask me, I meant to research further which ones) that do implement extensions -- maybe you'll have some luck using those browsers that might have a similar/same extension....just an idea...
