Since India will not be getting 11S updates, I will sideload the updates for CM11S,
How to get the update files ? Is there any site or source where the updates will be available ?
If the version is 4.4.4 out of the box, do I need to push all the updates one by one or 44S directly will be sufficient and concludes all previous changes ?

I have an unlocked HTC One M7 currently running android 4.2.2 (2.24.401.9). I want to update it to latest version and it is not showing any OTA update. It says your phone has latest version which I know is not. I need to know how can I update it manually to 5.11.401.10 version. I got a tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2365506 //: . But i am confused with numbers. I have one more doubt that is are the updates given on the page complete. So basically two questions.
1. Can i directly update from 2.24.401.9 to 5.11.401.10? Or i need to update intermediate versions too?
2. If I successfully updated to 5.11.401.10 from the link given, will my phone have the same capability and features as after official update to this firmware? Or, I need to do something else in addition to installing these files?
Also, please verify if the method on this page is correct? If not kindly link me a tutorial describing the exact process.

Hi, you don't need any other updates as the latest one will contain all previous fixes so just update directly. Also you should have the same features as before.

Hey guys,
I have received the OTA update for Android Lollipop on my Nexus 4 last week. But I dint opt to download as I was on traveling.
When I came home and switched on WiFi, the update was not there. It says Your system is up to date with 4.4.4 version only.
For the past two days I am continuously checking but no luck. Please help me on this.

Sorry I checked some but couldn't find the thread (most probably my bad). I ve bring an AT&T version of Note from US to my home country Egypt. I am currently checking for software updates but no update available yet. Once I checked internet. AT&T has already delivered the 5.0 update also a small bug fixing update delivered by AT&T and Samsung.
Would it be something blocking my update ?
Please help me how to go with this

Most probably no , there are no official updates , this branded devices usually gets stuck after 1 or 2 updates

Im new on this forum. Thanks for your Help in Advance!
I bought a used Huawei Mate 9 MHA-AL00 ( Chinese Version). Price was good condition like new.
Now I tried to upgrade from Android 7.0 EMUI 5.0 to Android 8.0 EMUI 8.0.
The Problem is this phone doesnt have the update system option in the settings. If I search for updates it show up but wont open when I press on it.
After all I thought okay, i can still flash it from sd card. I downloaded several versions which promissed to upgrade my phone. I followed the steps from youtube videos and forums. Press Volum Up and Down and Power Button but i always run into this error "Software install failed! Incompatibility with current version. Please download the correct update package"
Im not sure what the previes owner did with the device, its currently not rooted...
I would like to update the device to the latest version. In Advance i would also like to get the auto update option back but its also okay for me to update it manually.
