I have posted this in the proper device section but no one has replied and I really need my tablet working again even if i return it back to the way it was with the stock firmware it came with. So sorry about this but I am getting desperate

I have a GTN5120 Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 and I am stuck in download mode and I cant get out of it, I have tried turning it on and selecting down volume button to restart the phone and it still reboots into download mode
please help

i just bought a samsung galaxy s vibrant and i was trying to unlock it via odin and stuff. i am new to this and somehow managed to brick my phone or something :'( it will go into download mode, not recovery mode, and when i try to turn it on normally the screen is black with ethier green or red and blue tiny pixels... wth happened?! how do i fix this, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! the phone will sometimes go into a loading loop to
Sorry but I don't know anything about flashing samsung devices. But if you manage to get it into downloading mode it is most certainly not bricked. The reason I reply is to tell you that you will more likely get helped in the galaxy s forum than here, you should probably ask over there again.

Hi i got Sprint samsung galaxy s2 that i tried to root but i messed things up when i tried to set it back into the original firmware an rushed things now i get a messege
Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please selected recovery mode in Kies & try Again
but my pc wont recognize my phone when i plug it in and it wont go into download mode or recovery mode any more. I have tried taking out the battery and putting back in and tried going into download mode & recovery several time and had no luck i have read as many forums as i could all seem to tart the same but have not found a fix for my issue i relly like this phone and im kind of bummed that i messed it up

new to this forum and before continuing i will say to admins and moderators i have read the rules but i do appolgise if this question has previously been asked and answered but i have looked everywhere to answer this question through out the net and here but just cant seem to find the answer i look for for this tablet..?
My question is probably simple to some..
basically i have had a galaxy tab 2 7" GT-P3110 for some time now and i rooted it awhile ago with out any problems..
now after awhile i have now decided i want to update the tablet.. to the latest firmware. now we all know that we cant do this simple because it says device status custom or modified..
so i have tried many things now and the devise is reset but still on custom..
can anyone please tell me the way to basically reset this so i can update it?
i have unrooted it via supersu and reset it via factory reset..
i have tried to update via kies but no joy..
i have downloaded odin but have not got a clue where to get a official firmware.. and not sure if im doing it the right way or heading the right way.. can anyone help ?

Follow these steps :
1) First download Samsung firmware from GT-P3110 Firmware
2) Download the P3110 firmware based on your region or from any region but you need to wipe/cache reset in case you are going to flash from the region you are not residing.
3) Extract the firmware using winrar,winzip or 7zip,you will get a files with tar.md5 extension..
4) Open odin,please see only these options are checked. Auto-reboot and F.Reset Time,,plese uncheck all other options.
5) click on PDA and select the firmware you have got after extraction
6) Now click on start.
7) you should get a message in the left bottom panel saying "Successful".
8) your tablet will restart.
9) switch it off by pressing Power off button
10) Now immediately press Power button+volume up button for few seconds until you see samsung boot logo and leave power button but keep on pressing volume up button until you see android logo i.e recovery mode.
11) Wipe factory reset from menu and restart.

Hi thanks for your reply and its much appreciated. after posting this last night i ended up going with what i was thinking,
which was pretty much the same as what you suggested. i now have managed to update the device and now rerooted
with not doing things like this ona regular basis its a bit of a ball ache trying to remember how or to suss things out without bricking something

however do you know much about sony xperia z? i have one and was wondering if you or anyone else knows of a way to screen mirror movies from it to xbox? Aka on that device "throw" i have managed to setup a media server but wanted the throw to work or screen mirroring?

Am totally new on this platform and looking for a solution to my rooted Samsung Tab 2. I wish to update it but keep on getting your device is modified prompt. Kindly assist.
my samsung tablet went through a tough time because it had no os and wasnt installing one so i went to odin and downloaded the stock rom then flashed it by odin while my tab was connected in download mode. suddenly the connection got unplugged while installing the new rom leaving me with a black screen. the real issue here is that i cant save my tab because it doesnt get to recovery nor download mode so im basically left with a useless piece of junk. i think there is a way to get it back because my computer recognizes it but odin doesnt. if i could get it to boot into download mode, i can get it back. but i dont know how...

Help me. First I flashed BOOTSPL_S7262XXUAMJ3 as mentioned, then lot of grey lines started coming on the screen instead of Samsung pro GT S 7262. Then I used odin and flashed the other file which came out of whitefixS7262.rar that is BOOTSPL_S7262JVUANB2.tar. After flashing the second file, my phone just bricked. None of the buttons are working now, neither the phone is getting booted, nor I can go to download mode or any mode. PLEASE HELP AS MY PHONE IS BRICKED AFTER DOING THIS.
