I'd go back and do a restore of your system dated to before you had this issue. Difficult to tell exactly what became corrupted, and it should only take a few minutes to bring it back up to date, once restored.
Have a backup?

I do and even after restoring i still get the FCs. I wiped and restored, but no help
If you are sure your backup is uncorrupted, how about a full wipe and restore. If that does not work, I suspect even your restore has the issue, as well.
Perhaps others will have a better solution.
Ended up fastboot flashing the 44s img, followed Timaaa's guide. So far so good. Phone is faster and more responsive, so it was a good thing in the end

all my NANDs are showing the wrong date and the wrong time. apparently, my phone has gone back to the future and all my backups are from like 1970. I've installed CWM from the play store, updated recovery, etc., but it still does this. anyone else seen this?

This is a known problem and had many threads about it. So far there seem to be two " fixes" first, use ROM manager to make nand and make it before starting.... It gives you the option. Second just added text to the end of what it is a backup of (heard mixed reviews of this working) I can't vouch for either personally because I just remember what my couple are of.

Knowing that the OPO has 3GB of memory, I wonder why only have MB listed?
Already tried flash another ROM and Kernel and nothing change... Today I update the new 38R (OTA) and still the same...
The support tried help me but without success, they passed my ticket to a specialist... no responses since.
Anyone help me?
that's very weird indeed have you resorted to to flash the stock factory images? Possibility that one of the partitions messed up. I can't see oneplus accidently putting in 2gb of ram instead of 3. Something is definitely up

It seems they only really just installed that much ram on your phone. For whatever reason that's grounds for a replacement. They take a while but they do reply. I'm currently under an rma replacement process and although they take a while, ran into a few minor quirks and im still waiting for the new one to arrive, everything seems to be running smoothly up to now.
tried everything, nothing solved the problem...
I will require RMA... but it will take so much time

Alright. So I've experienced this problem twice and the first time it happened was right after I backed up my rom in TWRP so I restored my backup, turned off the password and kept it that way for a day before turning it (the password) back on.
This time I hadn't backed up my phone since then and I got locked out again. I erased the backup, backed up the locked out rom and reset my phone. Now, I've got apps like kik and steam along with my texting app on that backup and I don't want to loose any of the data. Is there anyway I can bypass this message? I've got twrp, root access and xposed framework if that is required.
Also note that I DO know my backup password along with my Google account info and it shows it as incorrect, so please don't tell me to enter my backup password or my Google account! [emoji4]
Please help Thanks!

Now do i have to format my phone for such stupid issues?
Update.
I also completely formatted my phone and wiped everything..data, ache, dalvik, and did factory reset and wiped internal memory too.
Still same issue.
Why is nobody able to answer this query?
Seems its the toughest query ever posted.
Do you think it could be something to do with the ROM? If you're willing to wipe your phone, maybe try installing a new ROM?
Also, have you ever experienced any problems with the sync before this time? Can you describe any significant actions leading up to the problem occuring?
Good Luck!

My phone is a Galaxy Note 10+. When I first got it I thought the wired generic smile was apart of the emoji set. I thought it was weird, but didn't think too much of it.
Then I saw my brother's keyboard one day and saw he had this emoji ☺ and I did not. Sometimes it works on certain apps, other times it doesn't show up.
If I type it others see it, but it's still annoying. I wonder if there is a fix.

Well guess you could do a factory reset
On a more serious note it would seem tgat the file was corrupted*. Keep an eye for more serious glitches that could indicate a flash memory failure or corrupted firmware.
Not sure if these are self "repairing" or not. Many flash drives can edit out bad sectors but to do that a factory reset would probably be needed.
It's also possible there was an issue with the original firmware flash (or an update) was and it was corrupted. It would need to be reflash be needed if so.
*if the phone hasn't been factory reset for over 6-12 months it's probably time to do so. System files can get damage doing app unistalls. This is very rare on Android's but not unheard of.
A clean load can make a big difference...
