[Q] Good App to upload videos to youtube easily? - Android Apps and Games

Device: Nexus 7 (2012 version)
Android: 4.4.4
I need to regularly upload videos onto youtube, like 10 videos a day. I am using "ES File Explorer" to do this task for now. The process is too tedious, it's like:
1. open ES file explorer, it's set to go to my video folder by default
2. I need to rename each file, and copy the file name later for youtube file naming.
3. (this step is the tedious one) long tap on the file, tap "more" on bottom right, tap "share", scroll the list all the way down, tap "youtube".
4. the youtube upload page shows up, paste the file name I just copied.
5. tap "upload" on the top right.
I wish there's a way to create a shortcut to one tap uploading to youtube. This seems to be not possible in ES file explorer. Is there any way/app can do this?

NOOBZ WAY!hiding android files and videos on androids, WITHOUT DOWNLOADING A SOFTWARE

hello fellow xda,
This is kinda my first post on xda and i just wanna share a way you could hide folders easily on your android device without download folder or file hiding tools plus, someone probably a nosy sister, brother girlfriend et.c. browsing your phone will think you have nothing to hide....
NOTE: i put NOOB on the title because some of you probably know this and someone with android knowledge would probably know this trick......BUT dat someone must be pretty serious with you to search for hidden folders and files.
OKAY ENOUGH RAMBLING HERE ARE THE STEPS........
1.) go to file manager on your android
2.) go to the folder you want to hide
3.) try renaming the folder with the new name starting with dot '.' e.g. you have a folder named "personal videos", rename it to ".personal videos"....
4.) tap OK or SAVE to make this change, and BAM! the folder is gone, you can check all your videos too.....those videos in that file are gone too.
5.) but nt to worry you can see those videos by going to file manager
6.) go to options(in some androids you'll go to settings in that file manager) you'll see the "SHOW HIDDEN FILES" option, TiCK it and go back
7.) there you have your folder (e.g ".personal videos" folder) back
8.) you can hide it again by going to settings or options in your file manager and UNTICKING or UNMARKING the "show hidden files" option......
NOTE: although not guaranteed, i still liked the idea that this way people will think you have nothing to hide than when you have a folder locking app, you can hide the app but people seems to know how to check for hidden apps nowadays ยท............
i know you might know this process but please encourage me THANKS.

Android folder ico file

Okay, so basically, when you start backing up cwm boot files, custom ROMs, and cwm backups on the pc (or SD card, this works on a cwm bootable sd too), I've always found it convenient to group all these folders and files into a library. But, when you create a library, there is a default picture that you can't change. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to fix that. What I do have, however, is an icon file for the <C:\Users\[Your Username]\My Android> folder, which you should probably create and add to the library then drop all your android-related files into there (if you choose to go the library route, though I would suggest this as all that stuff everywhere can get to be quite a mess).
The file is a batch png to ico converted *.ico file, and includes the following sizes: 8x8, 16x16, 32x32, 48x48, 64x64, 128x128, and 256x256, the 8x8 and 16x16 look *really* crappy and are almost too tiny to be visible, but that should be expected, and the 256x256 look blurry, though still decent. As with all batch icon files, the size should adjust automatically according to your icon size setting is.
Instructions:
1.) Download the *.ico file, and move it from [your download location] to <C:\Windows\System32>, so you never have to see or bother with it
again once you're done.
2.) Navigate to <C:\Users\[Your Username]\My Android>. If it doesn't exist, create it then add it to the "Android" library.
3.) Right Click
4.) Select "Properties"
5.) Click on "Customize" tab
6.) Under "Folder icons", select "Change Icon..."
7.) Click "Browse...", and navigate to the *.ico file you just downloaded in the <C:\Windows\System32> directory. It should be one of the only
ones there.
8.) Once the icon file is selected, click "OK"
9.) The selection window should close automatically. Click "Apply" on the Properties window, then close it.
10.) Add The folder to your currently empty library.
11.) If anyone figures out or knows how to change a library icon, please include that in a comment and I will copy and paste it into this post
(this forum has an edit feature, right?) and credit your username at the bottom.
*Please do not remove this post because it's nooby or pointless cosmetics not related directly to android development, I already know that. If it's in the wrong thread, which I'm not entirely sure of since this is my first time posting here, please move it. Since a mod is usually the only usergroup that can delete threads, I'm assuming that if you're reading and considering deleting this thread then you also have the ability to move it.*

[25/03/2014]Use ES file explorer to send huge and multiple files at fast speed.

Many of the users use ES file explorer as file manager its just not a file manager it can do as well as has many tools.
Many of the users might know this technique. Some of them don't so just thought of sharing this technique.
This technique/tool was suggested from a friend. I m just sharing.
This technique can only be used in ES file explorer version 3 and above
This technique uses wifi hotspot and wi-fi. Its more faster than bluetooth you can even send 500 mb of files easily
It works even in unrooted phones.
Needed:
ES file explorer in both phones.
Wi-fi hotspot and wi fi working.
As you know as there are two phones so one is receiver another is sender.
So in order to send a file to receiver the receiver has to create a hot spot
For receiver:
1.Open ES file explorer
2. Scroll to tools.(You can get it by tapping on options button right side of your home button)
3 Tap on it.
4. Scroll down you will see net manger.
5. Tap on it
6. Tap on Create a hotspot network
7. Hot spot will be created named(ex: ES_5614) and password for that will be displayed.
8. Done from receiver side
For sender:
1. Open ES file explorer.
2. Select the file my long pressing on it.
3. Tap on more.
4. You will see a option of send tap on it.
5. Then you will see a page of create a hotspot network & Join a network.
6. As you are the sender you have to tap on join a network
7. It will find the name of the hotspot(ex. ES_5614) tap on it and enter the password.
8. It will now join. You can see in the status bar.
9. It will go back to previous page.
10. Now again tap on send.
11. You will see the name of the phone.
12. Tap on it.
13. Receiver will get a notification. Select the folder and select ok.
14. File transfer will start.
For sender to be receiver follow the steps for receiver and vice versa.
You have successfully send a huge file at fast speed without the need of bluetooth.
In Sense based Roms
In some sense based roms the hotspot doesnt start from ES file explorer due to some security issues done by HTC.
Still you can send files through ES file explorer.
All you have to do is:
For Receiver:
1. Go to settings
2. Enter a password..
3. Create a hotspot.
3. Done.
For Sender:
1.Go to settings
2.Start you wi fi
3.Connect to the hotspot(Created by Receiver)
4. Connect to the hotspot.
5. You will see connected status in status bar.
6. Done.
Now both Receiver and sender open es file explorer.
For Sender:
1. Long press on the file you want to send.
2. Tap on send (You will get it by tapping on more)
3. You will see the phones name.
4. Select it. File transfer will start.
5. Done.
For receiver:
1.Accept the request
2.Select the folder. Select OK. File transfer starts
3.Done
You have successfully transfered files between ES file explorer.
Great discovery bro!!
Till now i never knew that es file explorer had that wifi file sharing option..
I was so frustrated using those flash transfer , Xender, etc apps.... they would make my pico reboot every time i tried to start them.. :crying:
but Thanks to u I got another better option..
Please keep on sharing such great things with us bro  :highfive:
This works with the Kindle as well. Install ESFile Explorer from the kindle store and transfer away. I use this to put apps on the Kindle that are only in the Google Play store (Clash of Clans for instance). After transferring just open the apk and install it. Make sure to tick the option in settings to install from unknown sources.

Problems in downloading mp3?

Hello, I want to download some mp3 to my Note PRO. On my laptop, I visited: http://www.stafaband.info/download/mp3/lagu_ost_swallow_the_sun_drama_korea/
There is a list of about10 songs with links to download
However, when I typed the same URL on my Note PRO, the URL was automatically changed to:
http://m.stafaband.info/download/mp3/lagu_ost_swallow_the_sun_drama_korea/
- Anybody knows the reason?
- Instead of having a list of about 10 mp3, only four are listed. Do you know what is going on?
- I clicked the first one: "Swallow The Sun Drama Ost mp3". Then, clicked "Download Link" on the linked page. Rather than downloading the file, a multi-window showed up to play the song. I can save the file. Could you please tell me how? Can I also specify the save location?
Thanks.
- Hit the options in the browser --> Show desktop version. Then delete the M in front of the url.
No, you can't set a download location. It automatically downloads into the Downloads folder.
Thank you. Where is the "options" in the browser?
So, after downloading the mp3 to the Downloads folder, I just use Astro to move to any folder I want. Am I correct?

Click to collapse
Top right, the three vertical dots next to the URL bar. If the browser hides it, long-press the left softkey (recent apps).
Yep, after it's finished downloading (check the notification) you can use any file explorer to move it to the desired folder.

How to get system to provide PDF viewer as option to view aspx file?

I can do this manually and in fact have set it to use one of my PDF viewers to do automatically but only when I manually select the file from my ES file explorer. Where it's not doing this is when a browser(chrome or Firefox) downloads this file then the system offers to open it right then and there which would be great saving me the time to taken to switch the file explorer, find file then open, but it only offers a bunch of apps not designed to open this type of file. Anyone know? Thanks
