We wanted a better baseline for web browsing (simple, private, ad free, anonymous), so we built Krypton.

Krypton Anonymous is:
Focused on security, privacy, and anonymity. Never saves or transmits your browsing habits. Tightly integrated with Tor and HTTPS Everywhere. Loads each tab is an isolated OS process, with it’s own cookie store and local storage.
Minimal mobile friendly design and experience.
Open source, based on the Chromium project. Not a Web view. Find us on Github.
Additionally Krypton Anonymous has upgrades for ad blocking, full screen browsing, history, auto-login and other "everyday" browsing features.

I have been using free version for sometime and I find its one of the best tor bundled browser even still it is in beta stage. It is so simple to setup & surf anonymous. Besides it works most of the time and faster than Tor browser for desktop.
It is nice to see developer has started XDA thread, I have couple of questions
what's difference between free and pro version other than being ad-free, are there any extra settings available?
Do I get any alert in case if browser fails to Tor networks?
thanks
Neat little app, it's great to finally see a lovely designed browser that actually works and the tor addition is great and very handy !
Great work! I love when someone take security seriously and goes full transparency.
Quick question, though: I already have Tor installed and are torifying all apps. Would it mess with my installed version of Tor to install Krypton? And would I be able to use the bundled Tor the same way as the full Tor package from Google Play?
Thanks in advance, keep up the good work!

Glad to hear you like our app! The paid version has history and favorites, and additionally unlocks features in both apps, such as ad block, full screen browsing, and find in page support.
If Tor disconnects you will be notified via a black bar that appears just above the URL (the same one that appears when Tor is connecting). You can also long press the Tor icon to see the Tor log.
Instead of having the apk do u plan to share on F-Droid?

Hey Lambert,
Glad you are enjoying our work! Using Krypton's bundled copy of Tor should not interfere with Orbot. If you want to use other apps with Tor, I suggest keeping Orbot. Soon we will be providing a way to specify a custom proxy, (e.g. Orbot) instead of the bundled Tor. Stay tuned!

Hey m0d,
The app has a large native component (a shared library that is ~19MB), so the full apk exceeds XDA's limits for upload.

FYI: http://www.xda-developers.com/announcements/introducing-the-xda-devdb/
The app does not work properly, as in anonymously.
Before tor connects you are able to surf the web with your location known to all.
Also, you can browse without connecting to tor at all, which defeats the purpose mentioned in a the title, "Krypton Anonymous".
I do, however, like having the option to use without tor as it has a nice interface.
But as far as security goes, not secure at all, as the app started to search before connecting to tor (tor was still trying to connect) and location/ip was not hidden
Not sure if you fixed this issue though
Hope to see progress
What is the latest version of the app, by the way?
It would be nice to have it somewhere, website/plus page/play store

Hey m0d,
If you're demands for anonymity are high, I suggest enabling the "Tor always on" setting, this should hopefully address your concern. I'd like to also note the browser does more than just proxy your connection through Tor. Cookies, cached data, and various other bits of state are never written to disk, and cleared from memory when you close a tab. Additionally we attempt to mitigate fingerprinting by disabling certain browser functionality.
I'll add a version # to the post in a moment.
I would just love the option to import a bookmarks file, rather tedious typing in all my bookmarks again, love the simplicity of the app, many thanks!

I am just pointing out what seemed like a bug, as you are advertising your app as Krypton Anonymous. I did mention that I liked the ability too disable tor and browse normally, too.
However, there needs to be a way to make sure which option the app is using. I did try setting "Tor always on", do not remember if it solved the issue, will try again.
But that means, to me, that you do not close tor, it does not sound like it has anything to do with being able to browse before connecting to tor. Users reading the article on your app - http://www.xda-developers.com/android/krypton-web-browser-privacy/, will be under the impression that your browser is an anonymous browser. But they need to be aware that in some cases that is not the case, as your browser allows you to browse before connecting to tor
There should be at least a pop-up warning that your are not yet connecting to tor before it browses.
I suggest an Anonymous mode switch in settings or in the menu (something like desktop mode in many other browsers) which forces you to wait until tor connects before browsing, which you can always switch off if you do not need it
I.E. The checkbox in the image: http://b2b.cbsimg.net/blogs/nexus-browser.png
But instead of "Request Desktop Site" an "Force Anonymous Mode".

Seems like a nice browser. I really like the interface and the Tor button! But are you planning to use the new Android 5.0 API to integrate tabs in recents menu like chrome?
what is this TOR button? is it in the paid or free version?

I recently released Browsix. If you install my app, you can do the following from another PC in your local network:
Download, upload, delete, rename,... all your files using the file manager (PC <=> Phone)
View your photos.
Listen to your music.
Watch your videos
Send and receive SMS messages
All you need is a regular browser on a PC in the same local network as your phone. Just point your PC's browser to www.browsix.com and you will be redirected to your phone (without configuring Bluetooth, USB cables,...). Sounds great?!
You can find Browsix in the Android market.

Thought the same
And still waiting for more crazy users than me to try it if it is good or not.
Add me to that waiting list as well.
Tried the site and no sign of malicious activity.
EDIT - didn't realize WiFi is required. Works great!
Hi Guys,
I really appreciate your interest. Now it's up to me to convince you that we are not into spam I just thought it would be great if you could point your browser to a web page and then be redirected to your phone. That's why I developed this tool, and it took quite some time actually. Some more explanation: What we actually do is show a link on the browsix.com home page when the Browsix application is installed, you will notice that this is a local IP address (you have to be connected via Wifi). So if you click the link, you will be redirected to your phone, which will serve all the requests. The tool you install on your android phone is actually a lightweight webserver.
@Phateless: Did you try the top links on the home page. For instance, if you click the Photos link, you should see a photo slideshow. Did that not work for you? What browser are you using? Of course you will not see the photos on your phone You will have to install the application for that.
Just to make things clear: None of your data (photos, music, files, etc..) is stored on our server. We only store you local IP address.
We are still in early development so I really appreciate all your suggestions, bug reports, etc. And believe me, I'm not a spammer. Is there any another way for me to prove this?
Thanks,
Stijn

We go a few steps further. We have separate pages for photos, music and video where you can view your media. On top of that we provide a file manager that you can use to copy/manage files between a PC and your phone, in both ways .
I also have an exciting new feature to announce!!
- The ability to send and receive SMS text messages in your browser.
I use it to respond to my text messages when my phone is on my desk and my browser is opened anyway.
This feature is still in BETA, so I hope I will get tons of feedback to further improve it.
See you later!
What's the difference between the lite and paid versions? Or is it a donate?
EDIT: Ah, nevermind. Found it on your website.

The paid version has: Fullscreen support, Ads-free local pages, Extra file manager features and much more to come...

EDIT#2: I can't seem to get the lite version to work. My phone shows up on the webpage, but nothing happens when I click the link for it, or when I put the IP address in manually.
Hi seboj,
Were you connected via WiFi? Your computer should be in the same local network as your phone (basically behind the same router).
It's started randomly force closing on me for the last few days, when it wasn't even open that I knew of.
Any ideas?

I think both your problems have something to do with the new SMS feature (are you both using android 2.2 ?).
A bit technical: I implemented a BroadcastReceiver for the SMS messages. This means that when you receive an SMS, the receiver upgrades a counter and stores some properties of the SMS so Browsix can use them. I will add some more error checking and publish a new version to the market. (EDIT The broadcastreceiver is now only registered when browsix is enabled)
If you still have the same problem with the new version, can someone check the output of LogCat? That would be a great help.
Thanks for your patience,
Stijn
EDIT: A new version is published to the market. Please let me know if it works for you.

Can you give me a basic on logcat? I've heard the term and I'm fairly comfortable with adb, just haven't used logcat yet.
You can use
Code:
adb logcat
to print out log messages. More information can be found at http://developer.android.com/guide/developing/tools/adb.html#logcat
I think we can find the problem if you use the following (this will print error messages, you will have to enable usb debugging on your phone):
Code:
adb logcat *:E

I'm not sure what "proxy browser" means. Boat browser is based on Android webkit. We plan to add more helpful feature to it. Many user have various feature request about browser. Hope we can provide a browser that can fulfill many user requirement.
So any comment and suggestion are appreciated.
One brilliant browser, which is best to browse web page. Multi-tab and no tab switch is good.
In next release of Boat Browser, there's some interesting feature. When Siri comes out, many people love it. So maybe we can add some similar voice control to Boat Browser. For example, when you say "bookmark" to Boat, it will open boat for you. If you save "facebook", it will load Facebook for you. And there's many more.

I know "proxy browser" as the definition for those browsers using an internet server to provide remote rendering, as opera mini does.

I can say that the browser is fast and reliable but what would be nice is for the browser to display FLASH without you needing to click on the flash item... or at least, if anyone likes this feature, to make this option available in the settings menu...

Thanks for clarify. Boat Browser is not a proxy browser yet. But we have a feature called "Mobile View". It would use Google/Baidu engine (or we can say a proxy) to convert PC web pages to fit mobile screen. It would also save internet fee for our users.

When we test on some low-end cell phone. FLASH really a big CPU-consumer. So we make this FLASH option as "on-demand", which means when user like it. He/she could click on this FLASH and it will play.
For some user, they love FLASH and their phone have a really powerful CPU. We have settings in preference page, called "Enable plug-ins". User could set it as "Always on". There's no need for user to click on the flash. It will be played automatically.
Hope this could help you.

Thanks for your reply (I already got the answer making some tests by myself).
Been using for some days now, and have to say it's working really good: my comparison is with dolphin HD and opera, which are android top browser, and boat can really stand beside them.
Don't know if can be in the area of development you have in mind, but an interesting option would be to manage (accept/deny) third-party cookies; for what I know, this is not possible at all at the moment for android browser.
Hello Peoples of XDA Developers! Today I'll be sharing an APP that is definitely my most favorite one on Android...It is called Mango and it is an HD Manga Reader for on the go!
Mango provides many features such as My Library which allows a user to download specific chapters from any manga and basically save it on your phone for Offline Reading. It also has a Favorite section that allows a user to bookmark his/her favorite series and then get the latest updates just for the chosen ones. Another great part about this APP is the number of sources it provides such as Mangareader.net, Mangastream.com, Mangafox.com, Mangashare.com, MangAble.com and lastly AnimeA.com.
Those sources basically give you the most available series possible for a Manga App.
Here is the Dev's Page:
http://mango.leetsoft.net/
Here is the Market Version. It is called PocketManga:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.ls.manga#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDIxMiwiY29tLmxzLm1hbmdhIl0.
EDIT: PoketManga has been removed from the Android Market...Just like Mango's fate HOWEVER, Victor will still keep the updated versions on his website, so make sure to check it out!
Here is the free version's latest .apk:

I've used Mango for a LONG time
But now it has been pulled from the market in my region (Italy), so I had to manually download the apk from your website, but in this way automatic update does not work.

Hello Peoples! The Dev of the Mango Manga HD app is making a request for ALL users to switch to Mango v1.4. Only 26% have done so, so far. The reason being is that firstly...1.4 is BETTER, secondly the Dev has acquired a new server which will host the Manga queries BUT v1.3 runs on the previous server. So instead of paying for 2 running servers, he recommends EVERYONE to download the latest version and then you will be able to enjoy the most out of the app!
I'm from Germany, couldn't the developer add a German manga source? like meinmanga. de

Mango 1.4.140 (Renji) is now available. This version adds auto-download new chapters feature, data folder override, return of the zoom vibration, a few advanced options, changes to Bankai validation (separate app no longer required), tutorial skip option, a few Notifications fixes, Inverted Color Mode crash fix, and speed improvements in the Library Browser. Download it from:
http://mango.leetsoft.net/apk/140/Mango.apk
Nice to see this is still supported, even though it is off the market.
NEWS:
Quick Announcement guys! SInce Victor (The Dev) has placed Mango on the Market and Google removed it twice for no specific reason, he will be changing the name and try to post it on the Market again.
By a Poll, the new name is gonna PocketManga and the App icon will have "L" from Death Note.
Mango and PocketManga will be updated at the same time and gradually we will switch to the new name PocketManga only if Google does not remove it...
Anyways, hope everything goes well and then many more people will be able to enjoy this awesome app
Just got the new link:

Tinfoil hat here, I can ensure you this app is safe.
The dev has explained why he needs those permission in the official Mango profile on Facebook some months ago. It's just anonymous statistics that he uses for debug reasons. Anyway, you can opt-out with just a click if you don't feel sure.

Mango developer here, felt I should chime in.
Fair warning, this is a huge post, but I'll explain exactly what these permissions are used for, and how they are used.
The Read System Log permission is used for debugging and troubleshooting purposes. As you use the app, Mango writes general diagnostic information about its performance to the Android system log. Later on, if the user goes to Send Feedback and selects "I'm having an issue", Mango will include diagnostic information from the log along with the user's message. I've found this to be invaluable when the user emails me stating "it doesnt work fix plz" and the diagnostic log shows that their SD card is full and Mango can't write anything to it. Most importantly, when the app force closes, a stack trace is written to the log pinpointing the exact line of code causing the FC.
A few things to note about the log data:
-It only ever leaves your phone when you use the Send Feedback function, compose a message, and send that message via your Email app (the diagnostic data is appended to the end of the email, you can view it before sending, or delete it if you don't wish for it to be sent)
-You can view the data at any time by going to Settings and Help >> Advanced Options >> Debug Log
-Only data that Mango has written to the log itself is ever read from the log. Though the system log is shared by all apps and the OS itself, Mango filters the log to only read data with the "MANGO" tag.
I am planning on implementing a custom logger soon so that Mango can read and write log data in it's own isolated log file, allowing me to remove the permission requirement.
Regarding the Read Phone State and Identity permission, this one is used to get the device UUID. The permission also allows the requesting app to view the phone number of an incoming call, which is why the header is "Phone Calls" in the Android permission warning screen. Mango has no reason to see or use that data, so it does not ever use the functionality, but it's a package deal included with the ability to use the getDeviceId API.
Unfortunately this one is required by the MobClix SDK used to display ads and is used by Mango to differentiate one device from another. Since there are no usernames/user accounts, but Mango uses an external server to do lots of the app's work, the server needs to be able to tell one device from another, and since IP addresses are often shared between many phones on a carrier, the server uses the device UUID instead.
It is important to note that the Mango Service does not associate your UUID with any reading history or favorites... that's kept on your device and never touches the server (though in the future, I might add an optional cloud sync feature). The only data associated with your UUID in the server's database are your Android version number, your phone's model number, your Mango version number, whether or not you've purchased the ad-free version, and the total number of times you've started the app. This lets me generate some basic stats about the app's usage, which you can view here:
http://mangoservice.leetsoft.net/stats.png
The UUID (rather, a hash of it, not the ID itself) is also used by the Flurry Analytics component which provides me with some more detailed (but still aggregated and anonymized) stats regarding app usage, such as how many users per week I see, what paths users most frequently take throughout the app, the number of favorites users have, and the Preferences they have enabled. For example, it lets me see that about 46% of Mango users have more than 20 favorites, about 14% of users check the "Left-to-Right Reading" option, and that only 8% of Mango users use the filtering option in the Favorites menu (clearly, it's something I need to promote more visibly in the next version, because it's an awesome feature and almost nobody is using it... :S ). I can't tell which options any individual user is using, since all of the data is aggregated and anonymized.
The user must opt-in to analytics... it is disabled by default and is only turned on if the user selects "Yes" to the "Enable Analytics?" option that appears when you first start the app. The user can also change this setting at any time from the Preferences menu.
/whew, I think that about covers it. Obviously there's no way for me to prove that what I've said above is true and it's completely up to you to believe me or not. But I write and maintain Mango as a hobby (though, thanks to the incredible response it's received, it's a hobby that's paying for my tuition!) and I really don't have any nefarious plot to use your data.
If you have any more questions, let me know. I don't check this thread super-frequently, but if you email me ([email protected]) I'll probably get back to you within 24 hours.
Also, thanks iasookia for making this thread!

The actual download speed simply depends on the network connection. I have been using Mango, and now PocketManga, since I got my Android Phone and haven't had any lags or slow downloads per se.
When I used my carrier's data, it would take about 3-4 min to download a chapter to the Library BUT at home, with WiFi, I get a chapter in like 40 seconds.
There is an issue however, if there are too many people on the same time, the server can't support the queries and then the downloads are slow...
I'm not, by any means, a developer or affiliated with AirDroid in any way. <--- definitely advertising
I came across this app earlier today and it is honestly one of the most useful apps I've ever seen. It gives one the potential to view his or her messages, calls, contacts, files and everything else on your phone FROM YOUR PC (or Mac) WEB BROWSER. All you have to do is type in a gateway that you get once you open the app on your phone. It'll take you to a log-in screen, which precedes a "desktop" with all of your phone-everything.
One of the coolest things is that it automatically syncs anything you do within the web browser to your phone and vice-versa. I.E. this is one of the few/only app(s) that will show pictures and full contact details within the web browser. Unlike other apps, if you send or receive messages, your phone logs and conversations will also be updated..as if you never used the app to begin with.
Per usual, you need to be connected to the same wifi network from your phone and PC/Mac/iPad/tablet you'll use to "control" your phone.
There aren't any notable downsides that I've read of or come across. This is simply a solid app that has unlimited potential.

As a rule of thumb I delete Kies Air at first because it's bloat to me. But I tried using it as often as I'd use AirDroid. Kies Air is just so slow, laggy and well...bloated. At least the web version. I'm the kind of person who loads saves ALL of his texts. So Kies attempts to automatically load EVERYTHING on your phone at once: texts, calls, music, pictures, videos, files. Software-wise it's not necessarily efficient.
To answer the original question- yes. But this is faster and cleaner in every definition of the words. Much simpler UI with faster transfer speeds and won't hog up your bandwidth because it only loads data as needed.
*Edit from here and below:
I guess the reason for the lag behind Kies Air is due to the fact that it runs a Java applet on your web browser. AirDroid runs a much cleaner JavaScript that's linked with HTML5, as I understand.
It's up to you, of course. But after trying both, I don't think there's any actual competition as to which app is significantly faster and more efficient.

Yes, in some aspects Kies Air does the same thing.
However, AirDroid is 12094820394823 times faster! The ease of the interface is amazing. It's a truly innovative application if you do a lot of files transfers through your phone. I use my phone like a thumb drive all the time. This only makes it easier. Sending messages while doing work on my laptop without having to type on the phone's keyboard? Yes please.
I would easily pay for this app.
I would like to see a novel contact manager built into the app. Something that is really functional and efficient. We all know that google contacts and android's address book are both a little weak in the functionality department. If the developers of the app can make such a solid app, I'm sure they can come up with a creative contact manager to integrate into AirDroid.
awesome app, but it would be even more awesome if u can fully utilize your phone (like literally browse through phone functions on a PC) on the web browser

This looks absolutely amazing. They must have spent quite a bit of time to make this app as awesome as it is. And completely free? Crazy.
Which is the only reason I have qualms about it. How can a company invest so much into an app that generates no revenue whatsoever in the Market?
I am always weary of apps that have complete access to all of your personal information (which the app needs to work correctly) and have no obvious avenue for generating revenue.
Maybe I'm missing something here? Are there ads?

Thanks for supporting AirDroid. Actually now, AirDroid also supports remote access to your mobile, even when your mobile is not around and not in the same wifi, you can access it to Web browser by enabling the auto wake up mode in APP.
There should be a screen viewer option.

To the first point, Kies is Samsung proprietary. They may do similar things and Airdroid is faster, but for the HTC phones I have, Kies really lacks in the "working" dept.
Secondarily, I am unsure if your statement includes the web-based Google Contacts in desktop browser but I find it quite sufficient for my needs and is obviously synced with Android if you use Google apps.
For every other need, I would imagine the import/export functionality of Google Contacts would make it easily portable to other platforms and then able to be ported back. "Insert simple script here " tacked on to said platform enables full auto sync.
I just published an early version of an app that allows you to browse and manage the contents on your device using just a webbrowser, the only requirement is that your device is connected to the same network as the computer or tablet you use to browse with.
The Video and Image galleries shows thumbnails, and if you have the correct plugins installed in your browser you can stream audio and video without downloading.
Here's a video clip featuring the web interface:

This is an early version, and if feedback shows it's worth it, I will implement ability to transfer files TO the device within a week.
I have only been able to test the app on an HTC Sensation with ICS, and an emulator running 2.2 so I can't guarantee it will work for everyone yet, just remember to send bug reports to me so I can fix all issues, if there are any.
Current features
- Browse contents
- View thumbnail galleries
- Download and Upload files from and to your device.
- Create folders, rename files and folders and delete stuff.
I would really appreciate feedback on this.
Thanks for reading.
Suggested plugins for your browser to get streaming from your device working:
Quicktime, http://www.apple.com/quicktime/?
VLC Media Player, http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html
Pretty decent and fast, but quite a bit of wasted space. Maybe you also also direct us to some of the plugins to enable video/audio playback in browser.
Not too bad actually. Streaming video seems to work well in Chrome. I'm excited to try this at home on my Google TV. That's the real test, in my opinion. Excited for some more features too.
Nice app.
Only Mp3 is being streamed. Even Mp4 starts downloading.
Thank you for all the nice feedback guys, and what a great honor to be featured on the first page
I've already implemented the below mentioned features, but need to test them through some more before publishing on Play.
1) Renaming files and folder
2) Transfering files to the device, either one file at the time or you can transfer a zip and have it automatically extracted on arrival to the device.
3) Deleting files and folders
There's also a few minor changes, and bug fixes. All (apart from a few minor non-critical) strings are in the strings.xml, so if anyone feels up to translate to another language, drop me a note and I'll send you the xml needed.
The issue with non streaming is probably a mime type misconfiguration on my part, so I'll have a look at it for a coming release.
I know there's a lot of empty space when using the web interface on a larger screen, but I'm working more and more towards having the same interface fully functional for both stationary and smaller devices, there's probably a few glitches left for me to fix in that area though...
p.s. I'll have a look around for decent plugins for streaming to web browsers, if you know of any good ones, feel free to post them here and I'll edit my first post to include links.
Cheers guys, The update will be available later tonight or by tomorrow.
smooth and fast. works better than some of the others out there. looking forward to the update :good:

Quicktime is one. VLC works sometimes.
This sounds really great but I am kind of afraid of using it in my company network.
I really would like to run it 24/7 in my private network to have access all the time to the content, but as soon as I arrive at work my mobile connects to the company wifi and would share it there. Is there any kind of password protection or anything similar?
Yeah of course I could disabled it manually, but I am lazy and I bet I will forget it sometimes.. and I guess tasker is no option for this, is it?
Or do I get it wrong that this 'service' is also working when the mobile is in deep sleep?!
Sorry for not publishing an update yet, I will have to postpone it one more day.
I just gave the thumbnail galleries a really great performance boost, and I want to make sure it's stable enough before
releasing it..

Yeah, in the currently released version there's a setting for username and password authentication, and yes, once the server is activated it will run until it's manually closed, even if you restart the device. Next up for implementation is also a way to restrict which networks the server is allowed to run on.
Thank you all for testing and posting feedback so far.
I'll get back to work on the update and report back once it's complete.

Version 1.02
So I just published version 1.02, but it might take a few hours before the update has propagated through all the google servers as usual.
Here's the latest additions:
Version 1.02
- Transfer files to your device, (You can also upload a zip and have it extracted once it has finished uploading)
- Rename files and folders
- Delete files and folders
- Create new folders
- Performance boost in the gallery views
So it's more and more starting to look like a file manager.
ToDo
- Multiple file uploads
- Restrict app from running on certain networks, and have it automatically start on others
- A *bonus feature* named QuickShare for those who purchased the ad-free version..
(I'm not much for limiting functionality, I'd rather like to add a few bonuses and helpful features for those who help me in return)
Please, report bugs and feature requests and post your feedback, and thanks again for your time.
Came in right when an update is going, about to try this out thanks

Anyway I expect to have the update ready in about a week, so post your bug reports now for me to be able to fix as much as possible!
Known issues:
- Not always restoring the scroll position after renaming a file/folder.
- Uploaded files doesnt show up in galleries immidiately.

@deja_vu: Yeah, but use the ctrl key for multi selection. Shift key will be implemented in a couple of weeks, once I've straightened out a few other issues, dealing with navigation, but thanks for taking the time to post. I appreciate it.
Thanks for all the helpfull feedback so far! Later, I'd better go and care for the critters, cheers!

Finally got some time to work on the update I spoke of earlier!
Version 1.04
- Fixed crash on Honeycomb devices
- Drag and Drop upload of files in Firefox and Chrome
- Drag and Drop Download of single files in Chrome
- Fixed invalid mime types
- Improved performance when starting server
- loads of minor fixes
Download from: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.droidstop.droidxplore
@drraptor, I hope to have fixed the issue with the app not closing, let me know otherwise and I'll investigate further.
