[Q] HELP!!! CWR Problem!!!

Hey,
Im on nexus i9023 with NSCollab rom and netarchy
Today i decided i wanted to try Cyanogen mod and downloaded it throug rommanager, al good up until that point!
Download was complete and i selected to contineu with the rom, it asked me if i wanted to backup my current rom and wipe cache/dalvik wich i said yes to!
Then it shutdown and stayed on the Google logo with the unlocked lock , i left it hanging to see what would happen but it just remained like it was stuck, so i decided to pull the battery and fired up again, all seems back to normal still running NSCollab!
But i cant get into Clockwork recovery anymore, it always shows the Google logo as said before, as we all need CWR, can you guys tell me what to do or what is going on?
Thnx!
If you can't get into CWR through the bootloader, just flash it again using fastboot like you did the first time.

did this, didnt help, still stuck on logo!
ROM Manager has never worked right for me when I try updating CWR.
Can you explain exactly what happens when you try to get into recovery from the bootloader? Your phone reboots and is stuck on the Google logo? Or do you get a message along the lines of "no recovery img"? or what?

I reflashed the recovery image through command, like when first setting up CWR, and it worked, i have recovery back!
Thnx!

I don't understand your problem I guess. Does TWRP work?

does cwm recovery works after couple of reboots?

Any reason why you don't want to just use twrp?
I had cwm working after 1 reboot, but I like TWRP better.

no idea there's a one click for it. I suggest asking in the dev threads for CWM what's up.
I had the same thing happen because I was flashing the recovery for the international version instead of the ATT CWM. One won't work with the other. Not sure if that's your case but maybe that helps somebody out there.

This is exactly the problem I was having. I tried every *[email protected]#! thing I could think of flashing from fastboot, to one click, to you name it. Multiple reboots etc, could not flash into recovery
Used goomanager once WHAM recovery thankyouverymuch.
Mine was cause by confusion between the international version vs ATT version. I'm an aussie with an aussie phone, so I thought "hey, I must be international"... nope needed the ATT flash.

[Q] Help i hosed my Nexus 5

I hosed my nexus 5 trying to root it. I can get to the bootloader and recovery but when I try to use adb twrp says it failed. I have tried using a couple of different tools to get it back to stock but they reboot from the bootloader and it stops at the boot up screen and never goes any further. I really hope i can fix this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Have you tried flashing the factory image?

Do you mean that after a succesfull flash of the factory image in fastboot it will not boot and you`re stuck on the bootscreen? If so go into fastboot, go to recovery and wipe the caches and data factory reset and reboot.
I tried just tried to boot into recovery from the bootloader after flashing and got a android screen with a red triangle.

Won't boot into and from recovery.

When I select to reboot to recovery the phone attempts to reboot and never shows the google screen. I have to enter the bootloader and enter recovery from there. After i install what I need to install and click "reboot to system" in the recovery, the phone does the same thing. It just goes to a black screen. I have to re-enter the bootloader again and select "Start" to boot into the ROM.
What could be the issue here? Do I need to reflash the bootloader?
What rom are you on. Stock doesn't give you an option to boot into recovery. I'd try and re-flash the rom

PSX. This started to happen after I flashed CWM so I switched back to TWRP but it seems like clockwork might of screwed something up. Might have to flash the factory img.

I would try flashing the recovery image in fastboot. That should fix up the recovery issue. Cwm seems to have some issues right now.

I would try flashing the entire factory image then. But i think you have something else going on if you need to have it plugged in to start it up

flash TWRP for your phone, then test to see if the RECOVERY mode works by selecting the ‘RECOVERY’ option. your phone should boot into TWRP Recovery mode now and this means that the install has been successfully completed.
Select ‘Reboot’ from the TWRP Recovery options and wait until your phone boots into normal mode. or if all else fails, and you have a backup of all your data/files just run a RUU and bring it back to when it first came out the box.
