[Completed] bricked redmi 1s need to disable xposed - XDA Assist

Hi,
I've installed xposed framework on my phone and now it's in bootloop.
The phone has a broken micro usb port so it's impossible connect it to the computer.
The phone has stock mi-recovery with root permission.
I've tried (with no results) to:
-do all the wipes from mi recovery
-download a cyanogenmod, rename it update.zip and put in the microsd
-download a stock miui rom and do the same as the cyano but I think mi recovery just reads the internal memory of the phone ( and I can't put files in it beacuse of the broken micro usb).
Now I'll try with xposed disabler but I think the problem is that the files must be in the internal memory...
Can someone help me? Is there a way to put files in internal memory or disable and wipe the xposed framework?
thanks

Well you really should get that broken port fix asap.
But in the meantime you can post your question here and one of the experts in that forum may be able to help you out.
Good luck to you

[Q] [A510] Install rom by usb connection or external sd

Hello everyone !
Few minutes ago, I wanted to install a new rom, just to try it, on my acer iconia tab but after having wipe the previous one I saw that I had forgot to put the new rom on the internal sd card.
Do any of you know how to install a rom through usb connection or at least transfer a file from pc to the internal sd card ?
I already have tried to transfer a file with the bootloader and with an adb command but nothing works. (adb didn't manage to detect my tablet).
I have "google" my problem but nothing interesting seemed to work.
I know my english is not perfect so if you need more information don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks in advance.
I manage to solve it by restoring the flexrom (I completly forgot I had a backup)

[Q] i can't access and write the internal storage

StockAndroid 5.0.1
I have flash other room with the multirom on my nexus 5, but it can't boot, when i reboot my internal room,i found that i can't access and write my internal storange,i use root explorer to access the/legacy it is empty, strangely i can access it on cm11 in multiroom.i don't know if it is the multiroom's problem. I am sorry i have poor English. Thanks!
Any one can answer my question?
What's the problem now?
U can't boot into Rom or u can boot into after reboot?
I personally had also some problems with multirom for some time,
which didn't let me access the internal sd card, but after reboot all was fine.
If it's compatible I can't tell u without more infos...
Did it already work? did u flash another kernel now? did u look for multirom update? .......?
CHEERS

After flashing a rom mod storage (SD and Internal) access denied.

Hello, i'm having a problem here. I have a Galaxy S5 and i am using XtroLite Lollipop Rom for quite some time now. Yesterday i decided to flash the aroma mod of it's rom so i could add the option fo multiple windows. I had done it before with the same aroma mod and it worked flawessly so i flashed and it did work, but then i noticed some errors and when i looked the explorer both of my storages (internal and external) are there but show no files inside and apparently give no access permissions, the only thing i have permission to access is the root folder. When i go to philz touch recovery i can check the files on both storages and they are there its most likely they are just not accessible. Tried to plug to a pc while on recovery but no deal. I searched google a lot but didn't find anything related, i also can use most of the apps that were installed on the phone but can't install any newer, cause of internal storage being inaccessible, and im without a terminal installed atm.
I kindly ask for some help, thanks in advance.

[Completed] Wiped all system data, now stuck on cwm custom recovery mode

I am a complete newbie to rooting. I followed the kingoroot guidelines and rooted my Idea Aurus 3 phone. Root was success. The next step I did was downloading custom recovery and cyanogenmod ROM from here to my memory card
I flashed the custom recovery with flashify. The next step I did was wiping all data from the device by entering in to recovery mode (including cache and everything)
I was hoping I could simply install zip from sd card. But when i click on this option, I cannot find my sd card nor zip file (I checked most folders including emmc, etc, sd-ext and couldn't find SD card. The custom recovery name is Phylz touch 6
Now basically I have a phone without OS and all I can do is accessing custom recovery. I don't have a back up too
I can also see an error log "Cannot mount custom path"
I formatted the memory card to exFAT from exFAT 32 hoping that would work, it didn't help as well.
Also tried to connect phone to pc using USB (thinking I can move rom to system memory), but wouldn't detect phone memory
Now, is there any way to get this fixed? Any help would be awesome
Thanks!!!

[HOW-TO][ROOT] Use SDCard as Adopted Internal Storage without Formatting

Introduction:
Hey guys , Im new to xda and Marshmallow , I've recently have taken interest in Android and Am successful in porting Marshmallow to my device Spice-Mi526n .I faced an issue for which I have found no solution. I'll be teaching how to use SDCard as Portable and at the same time as Internal without Formatting .
**If some one is successful in doing this in Nougat , please let me know**
Advantage:
SDCard needs no format , so you need not take backup if you are sure you know what you are doing and are following the steps exactly
SDcard can be used as both Portable and External at the same time , to avoid app crashes , it is advised to turn off device before removing sdcard and put if back into phone before turning device on once the job has been done.
SDCard can be used on Any other device without problems as card has not been Encrypted.
Internal SD would stay intact and is fully functional.
MTP/PTP works flawlessly. Both Internal SD and External SD are working. UMS has not been Tested.
DISCLAIMER:
Before proceeding , I hope you are aware of the danger i.e possibly a soft-bricked device or a toasted sdcard.
Proceed with caution only if you know what you are doing.
Make sure you have a backup of your ROM , contents of your SDCard ,NVRAM incase things dont go as intended
I DONOT take responsibility for damage to any part or component of your device , though you may seek help from me.
Pre-requisites:
Rooted , Unlocked , S-Off (if HTC)
)Basic Knowledge , In case device gets stuck in Bootloop
Procedure :
Before starting , Lets make sure that your device has Xposed Installed.
If not , check below for provided link.
Make sure the SDCard is fast enough to handle the load, else OS may become slow/laggy.
Configure your SDCard as Portable to avoid formatting and Data loss.If SDCard has already been formatted , save data elsewhere and reformat it as portable.
Download XInternalSD(link at bottom) to your device , Enable module in Xposed Installer and then before reboot.
Most of the time , xinternalsd detects External Pathcorrectly , but if it listed incorrectly or missing, change it.
Enable for both user apps and system apps to avoid confusion , then reboot your device.
Conclusion:
Once you reboot your device , you'll see the magic.
Note:Some apps cant be moved to sdcard because of restrictions imposed by application's developer(s), but most of them can be.Data can always be moved to external sd as it would be treated as internal.
