[Completed] Can't get past bootloader htc m8 - XDA Assist

I recently rooted and did the s-off for my htc one m8. I had ClockworkMod on ym device and used it to restore my stock rom. everything went fine. then I updated the device firmware via sd card and now i cant get any further than the bootloader. When i try to boot up, the screen shows the htc logo and never changes. I tried recovery mode, but it brings me to a screen thats shows a red triangle with an exclamation mark. Not sure how to reverse this. Anyone know how to get past this?

Sounds like you have stock recovery to me and you wiped system.

[Q] MyTouch 3G Slide Not Booting

In December of last year, I had my friend root and install CyanogenMod onto my Mytouch 3G Slide. Everything was working fine until I wanted to update my ROM and tried to boot my phone into recovery mode to make a NANDroid backup. A screen with a picture of a phone and a red exclamation point inside a triangle would appear, and I'd have to pull the battery out to restart the phone.
Then, I tried to access the bootloader by holding the volume down and power buttons. After some loading, it asked me if I wanted to update. Not knowing what it was asking, I said no, and tried to access the actual recovery menu, but the same screen showed up.
I tried again, this time accepting the update. Now, when my phone boots, the stock mytouch splash screen appears and the phone does nothing from there.
At this point, what would be the best solution? Is my phone just bricked, or is there a way to restore it to the stock firmware/recover CyanogenMod?
EDIT: For clarification, I can still access the bootloader, where I have four options: Fastboot, Recovery (See problem above), Clear Storage, and Simlock.
EDIT 2: I left it on the splash screen and discovered that it seems to have just thrown my phone into a stock factory state, running 2.1-update 1. Not sure if it's still rooted.

[Q] MyTouch 4G Slide accidentally removed CWM

I searched everywhere on this forum and found somewhat similar problems but none as d\ifficult as mine. I have a Tmobile htc mytouch 4g slide and I attempted to root it tonight when I got kinda stuck. I was using MyTouch_4G_Slide_All-In-One_Kit_V1.0 by Hasoon 2000. I got CWM v 5.2.0.7 installed and attempted to install cyanogenmod from my sd card while in recovery mode. It installed successfully but when i restarted it got stuck on the boot up screen (I guess its also called the splashscreen). In order to get back to recovery mode i had to pull the battery. I tried formatting from the CWM menu in recovery and then re installed cyanogen but the same thing happened again. Then one of my family members came in and clicked on the install stock recovery button to see if that would help. So now I have stock recovery installed but also installed the not working cyanopgenmod. Now I cant get my computer to recognize my device to re install CWM. This is my first time rooting a device and I have no experience with development so please be patient with me. My computer recognizes it when i first enter recovery mode but then it says it was unplugged and my phone shows a picture of a phone with a red triangle and exclamation point. I am worried there is nothing i can do since doing a factory reset just results in a frozen splashscreen and my computer wont recognize it and i cant get in to recovery mode to install a different rom. Any help would be much appreciated

[Q] Stuck in "Android system recovery" & Mount SDCARD failed

I am not exactly sure what happened, but I am stuck in the "Android system recovery <3e>" menu. I had unlocked the phone before and was trying to relock it and get it back to stock because the new update wouldn't install.
While the HTC update utility was installing the stock firmware, I think the cable came loose at some point because it stopped part way. Now it boots, shows the HTC logo, goes black and then eventually shows a phone lying down with a red triangle and an exclamation point. I can push vol+/power to get "Android system recovery" to show up, but that seems to be all. It says "Mount SDCARD failed".It will only boot to this menu. I cannot load the bootloader or anything else so I can't seem to use fastboot or adb and can't seem to copy any files onto the phone. Does anyone have any ideas? Is it totally bricked?
Edit: doing a factory reset from recovery does nothing.
Edit2: Sorry!!! False alarm. After spending about an hour going back and forth with this and finally breaking down and posting about it on XDA, suddenly the bootloader DID appear. I have absolutely no idea what I did differently. I guess the 500th try was the charm. Reflashing stock now!

[Q] HTC One S stuck on logo screen

I tried to upgrade my phone to 4.4.2 TwistedKat, but after a while i decided i didnt like it and deleted the zip file from the phone completely and attempted to reboot my phone. I tried to relock it but when i did the phone never turned back on. When i unlocked it again it would go back to TwistedKat and i really just want my old JellyBean back. Now when i turn the phone on it stays on the logo screen with the red writing saying this build is for development purposes. I could not really find any RUU to use and im still searching but having no luck. Please help
EDIT: Its a T-Mobile HTC One S. I can also still go to the hboot screen and
clockworkMod Recovery
Ok i ended up being able to bring back the TwistedKat 4.4.2 version, but i would still like help in returning my phone back to the OS it was. Can anyone help?
if you are s-on, did you flash boot.img ?

[Completed] Htc One M8 Bricked

Hello everyone, i come bearing bad news. Over the last few months my Htc One m8 on Verizon has been deteriorating slowly. I was running a dirty unicorns 4.4.4 rom with TWRP custom recovery on 2.8.4.0. Then, one day, out of know where, my recovery stopped working. I couldn"t boot into it no matter what i tried. So naturally I tried reinstalling it but it gave me an error. So I gave up on trying to install custom roms. Soon after, my phone began swiping and typing and opening apps on its own. This got out of hand very quickly so I decided to factory reset it. The reset was successful and I though maybe I could flash CWM over TWRP then re flash TWRP. So i flashed CWM and everything was normal there up until I rebooted into recovery. The recovery mode looked like the stock recovery and if i try to reboot, It sends me to the splash screen and wont load my rom. It just stays at the HTC screen with the red text at the bottom. I can get to fastboot mode but can't do much from there because adb doesn't pick up my phone. I've decided that ill probably have to get a new phone and use bluestacks until then. But any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
