☆It supports all Samsung devices!☆
It's aimed to support all Samsung devices running Android 2.3+ for the EFS feature.
This application let you save a backup of your EFS partition on any Samsung device running Android 2.3+, this help you to keep your IMEI safe from getting corrupted after any bad Rom flashing issues, this is a common issue with Samsung devices, if somehow you lost your IMEI, you won't be able to get registered and connected to any mobile network.
User will be prompted to choose which partition to backup within all partitions list when there is no EFS partition on his device.
With this application you can also backup any other partition, just make sure you have enough space for bigger partition on your device sdcard.
What's new compared to other EFS backup Apps?
This application was made to be a generic solution for all Samsung devices, it does NOT use any static block numbers.
This App support 3 backup formats:
Stock image copy (img)
Tar archived image (No compression)
Compressed GZ image (Small size)
Notes:
The backups are saved on /Sdcard/EFSBackups.
Do NOT leave the EFS backup on your Sdcard, make sure it is saved on a safe place
It supports stock and custom Roms (CM, Omni...)

Great idea, it's in my todo list.
Is it work on custom rom? like ParanoidAndroid?
The app successfully located the EFS location. So I try to make a backup, and it says successful. But, I don't see any folder called EFSBackups on sdcard directory. (both sdcard0 and sdcard1 (even sdcard2)
Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini (GT-I8190) running ParanoidAndroid-4.6-Beta5-unofficial.
While I can't make any efs backup, I just translated your apps to Indonesia through the app menu Maybe there should be an option to save the EFS on custom location. Will PM the syslog.

CHANGELOG for 2.6.0.0:
Special Note: If you are running a custom theme, you will likely need to remove that theme before updating to 2.6.0.0 as your custom theme will likely not have some of the new changes visible (e.g. you won't be able to encrypt a backup)!
-Can encrypt a backup to prevent theft of private data from your backup files

Notes about encrypted backups:
Why encrypt your backups? -- Most people store their backups on the device. Any app that has permission to access storage could potentially read your backup files and try to harvest your data. Encrypted backups also provide an added layer of security if you move your backups to other storage devices or to the cloud. The encryption that we're using is probably not strong enough for enterprise level security, but should be strong enough to make it significantly difficult to get to your data.
Encryption is using OpenAES which uses AES 128-bit cbc encryption. If you happen to use a longer password (over 16 characters) then the encryption strength improves to 192 or 256 bits. Do not forget your password. If you forget your password you will be unable to restore your backup. We don't encrypt the entire backup. Encryption is very CPU intensive and can be fairly slow even when we spread the workload over multiple cores even on the latest high-end devices. To ensure that encrypted backups don't take forever, we don't encrypt any other partitions besides /data and in /data we don't encrypt /data/app (or other app related directories where apks are stored) and we don't encrypt dalvik cache.

BUGS:
If you have found a bug, please consider posting it to our github issues log. It's pretty much impossible for us to keep up with the more than 40 threads that we have for the devices that we "directly" support. I decided to take this for a test drive by flashing cleanrom 2.1. It seems that it does not get installed properly. Is this a fail of the recovery or the rom itself? Someone else want to try?

Flash it then go to advanced and "copy recovery.log to sdcard" then get me the log. Ideally come to #twrp on freenode and pastebin it for us there - webchat link in OP if you don't know how to use IRC.

Very interesting and intriguing, but I have a few questions:
1) does it charge the battery when in the recovery (I think CWM doesn't?)
2) are you planning on fixing the two issues listed, including compatibility with CWM backups?

I woldnt be quick to call it a scripting problem because its the identical script to my other ICS ROMS that DO work on twrp (Rezound and Evo 3D).
But who knows, I could be wrong. But generally speaking, if it works on one Recovery and not another then I would think the Recovery would be the issue and not the script.
I will flash this and test it myself and see what the deal is. The scripting I use with my ROM is pretty basic.
Format, mount, extract, symlink, unmount. Nothing fancy there.
I'll join IRC channel after I have to time to play to help T/S if OP wants?
EDIT: BTW: I love twrp and its always been my recommended recovery. I have been bugging Con24 who ported twrp to Rezound to do this for us so I am really happy to see twrp here!!!!!!

Sorry,
Missed this from your feedback PM
Just fixed the zip on download server
Now, it should flash correctly
Many thanks for the support :good:
Finally Flash it (Thanks Adam)
Working Great.
1) Touch is working great. - It will work after 5-6 Seconds.(If possible just press back Hardware key)
2) Its Superfast.
3) Approx 90% functions are working.(A normal day user can flash it without any problem.
4) Taking backing up normally & deleting data & caches also.
Few bugs:
1) you can't view what you are flashing ( Texts are going quickly downwards to front page & hence you can't see it)
2) 1 or 2 functions aren't working(might be my R problem).
I m attaching the zip file with Adam's Update - binaries.
Flash it & Enjoy. :good:

thx alot for reply! deeply appreciate it! how about using ur aroma browser that is built in inside the recovery and mark all files and just delete them ? will i be able to reboot into recovery mode after that? i was thinking that recovery files where flashed into a flash memory outside the phones internal memory to be a fail safe place harmless for beeing erased unless flashed with odin or flashed with any compatible recovery we got availible. am i right about this?
so my short question again is can i mark all folders and files and delete them directly through the built in aroma browser?
:good:
im willing to write you good comments and review here or on youtube if it is in ur demands.

Version - 2.6.1.0 does not work. I got stuck in htc quietly brilliant screen.
Updated for 4.3+ roms, also fixed some features. Encryption now enabled. All devices work
Nice update. So far as i have tested, everything works.
in the old version, when I turn off the power and connect to the charger...then I can not boot up until remove battery and try again
in the latest version, has this issue been resolved ?
thanks
Thats not an issue per say, as it is more of an aspect of htc phones. When charging the phone while off, hold the power button for 15-30 seconds then it will turn the red led off then press it again and it will boot up to android.
solved
Why do we have less options to be backup than previous version?
Because now we have soff. Those partitions shouldn't be backed up or modified. Now only partitions that should be updated backed up ect are available

I don't have S-OFF and don't really intend to do it, which version should I use?

Special Note: If you are running a custom theme, you will likely need to remove that theme before updating to 2.6.0.0 as your custom theme will likely not have some of the new changes visible (e.g. you won't be able to encrypt a backup)!
-Can encrypt a backup to prevent theft of private data from your backup files
-Updated graphics / icon courtesy of shift
-Updated exFAT to latest commits
-Fixed a problem with Samsung TouchWiz decryption
-Update SuperSU binary
-Fixed saving of backup partitions list
-Fixed saving of last used zip install folder
-Fixed backup of datadata on devices that use a separate partition for datadata
-Fixed some issues with the advanced wipe list (android_secure, can now wipe internal storage on data/media deivces and wipe data on the advanced list no longer formats the entire data partition)
-Fixed some problems with partitioning a SD card
-Various other bug fixes and tweaks

Fashed from CMW 5.0.2.7 to Twrp_6.3_Unofficial_20140211_d700.zip. Then tried installing any of the following:
cm-7.2.0-epicmtd.zip
cm-10.1.3.1-epicmtd.zip
Try to go back to cwm-5.0.2.7-epic4g.zip
ThePeoplesROMv2.22_BML.zip
ThePeoplesROMv2.22_MTD.zip
I odin back to "pit & Deodexed-FC09.zip" and then installed CMW 5.0.2.7. I'm on CM10.x. Didn't bother with TWRP. I could be have been the new Samsung 4GB micro SD card I was using who knows.
Thx any way.

I second this, my backups & flashable zips that worked fine with 2.6.0.0 are no longer working in this TWRP version, even though the md5 checks out. There is a problem with this new release, imo, as this was an occurrednce with both of my Epics.

Probably because of the updates etc that were done. I can't guarantee older backups will be compatible.

I don't think that's the case, the problem occurs when flashing ROM & kernel zips too, not just when attempting to restore existing backups. I re-downloaded a couple (& checked md5) again to confirm this. (Of course, I also checked md5 for this new recovery prior to installing it)

(UPDATE 02/11/15)Version EMUmIZEROCompleta......full EMUI3 Experience!
For a SUPERLEGGERA (superlight) version of it check this thread: EMUmIZERO SUPERLEGGERA
******************************************************************************************************
INSTALLATION using ROOTJOY:
For the ones who prefer to flash the rom with ROOTJOY:
1: Download the Rom zip and replace " updater-script" inside folder "META-INF\com\google\android" with this one(unzip it before)
...now flash it by selecting the new created zip in rootjoy....that's all my friends...
******************************************************************************************************
INSTALLATION using CUSTOM RECOVERY (FOLLOW ALL THE STEPS TO AVOID ERRORS) :
1:DOWNLOAD Rashr - Flash Tool from Google Market (to flash Recovery)
2:DOWNLOAD ROM
3:DOWNLOAD RECOVERY(NEW VERSION WITH FIXED PARTITIONS LAYOUT)
4: Now select the downloaded recovery with a file explorer (Rashr - Flash Tool will ask you to flash it as recovery & reboot in recovery mode)and flash it
-------------------IMPORTANT STEP----------------------------------------------
5: Once you are in recovery mode make a full backup of your actual rom.
THIS STEP IS VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE MY TWRP MAKE A BACKUP OF VITAL PARTITIONS WHERE IS STORED IMEI,MAC ETC...
it's a good idea to copy the backup folder on your PC, it could be very useful in future in case of problem with missing IMEI and other trouble...
-------------------IMPORTANT STEP----------------------------------------------
6: Now ( note:due to the fact some people had problem during this step in TWRP-Settings select "Use rm -rf instead of formatting.")select: Wipe-Advanced Wipe and tick: Dalvik Cache,System,Cache,Data.
7: (Without exit from recovery) Select Install and choose the rom zip (on upper part of the recovery screen you can select Internal Storage or SD Card).....
....reboot....
....OK!....now you are on EMUmI!

BUGS&TIPS
BUGS:
....probably you will find "G750-T20" or "Huawei" in some places:this is needed for the firmware to working(many libs and function refering to those names)
........
TIPS:
NVRAM WARNING: ERR 0x10 (& random WLAN MAC ADDRESS) ???....HERE THE DEFINITIVE SOLUTION
To download Themes and Songs remember to have simcard inserted and not to be in "Flight Mode":Those apps need to access your IMEI number to finalize autentication..
EMUmI is PREROOTED but there isn't the Supersu apk,all apps needing root will work well,i suggest to install SuperSu(from market) only if you need to manage apps permissions..
The rom is FULLY ODEXED (more stable&fast)....so is not reccomended using Titanium or similar app to remove and then restore apps:It will remove the related libs from system but it will not restore them...so i suggest to use it only if you know what you are doing..(to reinstall an app you need to extract the libs from his .apk and copy them to system/lib again.....)..however you can restore "Only data" of apps without problems.
Many Google related apps are not present(tts,search...)first of all to gain space, second because they are often updated....if you need them you can download from Market without problem..
How To Enable On Screen Soft Buttons:modify this line in build.prop:
#qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
TO
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
(remember to left an empty line at the end of build.prop!)
