Is Quick Connect broken for anyone else? - Note Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

When I try to use Quick Connect it says that it needs an update to work and then goes to the Galaxy App Store and gets an error saying that the product isn't found.
Does anyone else have this problem?

It successfully updated on ATT Edge here. Used it twice with no issue.

I have an AT&T Edge too and this is what I get when I try updating. How did you get it to work?

honestly, I didn't do anything special. Did you update everything through play store first?

Yes everything is up to date through the Play Store

I rang Samsung Tech Support and they recommended clearing the data in Application Manager and doing that fixed the issue. Not sure why though.

[Q] Can't send apps to One S from Play Store

Got my new HTC One S from TMo today. Pretty psyched! Getting it all set up and I can't send applications from the Play Store to the phone.
I can install apps just fine from the Play Store on the phone, but I was trying to send them from the Play Store on my PC to the phone. It looks like it's working, says "This app will be downloaded to your device shortly" but it never shows up.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
I'm able to do that but I'm with an unbranded one.
I did encounter such behavior when my phone was on a wifi network which is behind a firewall when the Play store on the phone is not communicating with the internet one.
I'm still waiting for my One S, but I have the same issue with my Desire while beeing connected to wifi. it starts as soon as I enter Google Play on the phone or when I disconnect wifi.
The One S isn't on the supported devices list yet. Could that have anything to do with it?
Never had this issue before...
I know that this is basic stuff but:
Are you sign up to the same account on your HTC and on you PC?
Do you have turn on the syncronistaion on your mobile?

Yes thanks - I do have all the basics just fine. And I can buy apps directly on my phone that work fine.

Since for me on home wifi or cellular data connection all works fine, it got to be something else.
Either some firewall blocking or any other settings.
Did you restarted the phone? background data or any tasker/other rule to block?
issue resolved...
Mods, please close this topic unless you think it might be helpful for anyone else... The issue resolved itself. I'm able to send apps to my phone now.
Thanks!
It didn't work for me at first, but after downloading a few apps manually, it worked from the PC also. I think you just need to make the initial association between the phone and your Google Play account.

Major problems with Google Play

Hey guys. So, I got my BPXL about a week ago, and I instantly loved it. The first thing I did was reinstall all apps from my previous phone. All 180 apps. No issues (except for the -504 problems). Two days ago, I was prompted by the Play Store about some updates. I told my phone to update all apps automatically, but there was a list of about ten items that needed to be updated. "okay, whatever." So I initiated the downloads. About two hours later, I realized that in the notification drawer, the download for the very first app in that list was appearing as paused. Return to the Google Play Store, see what's up, and the download bar is just running running running, but never actually showing any download progress. Paused them all, tried to run them one at a time, same problem. Tried to install a new app, same problem. Tried all of Google's troubleshooting steps, same problem. Here's where it gets real fun: Performed factory reset of phone, same problem. Acquired replacement phone from Amazon, SAME PROBLEM.
Apps can be downloaded and installed from the Amazon Appstore, but Amazon's app market couldn't hold a candle to the Google Play Store. I'm totally at the end of my rope. Google doesn't know what to do, Blu doesn't know what to do, and I have no idea what to do. I have no idea what is causing these issues. Anybody had anything similar happen and know what to do?
New here but I've had my Pure XL since December. I've been having the same issue for about a week or so. The only thing I've found that works is to cancel the updates, turn off Wi-Fi and start downloading them again. Of course that uses a lot of data, so it's not really an ideal solution..
and the download bar is just running running running said:
Dear friend i got the same problem. But i was very confused when I when to other WIFI location and suddenly the downloads start working....I change my originally router and seens to fix that..don't know why... but it never happen again...

I actually just got off the phone with Blu CS, and it seems that this issue is common enough that they're rushing out a patch to try and fix it. There's a lot of other broken stuff I hope they patch over too, but in the meantime, being able to download off of Google Play would be a big step forward.
So there it is. Anybody experiencing the issue, wait. That's what they told me, that's all we can do.
Received an OTA update today that appears to have resolved the play store issue.
Blu Pure XL pause download problem *Easy Bypass*
I recently bought a Blu Pure XL, shortly after I rooted it no problem, then I had the store error that everyone else is talking about and people say there was an update released to fix it. Unfortunately when I try to start the OTA says my system is damaged so I downloaded the app: DataEye to see what processes use the internet while downloading and long story short when the download says paused open Dataeye and Toggle data saving mode on then off! Fixes every download that pauses hope this helps!
I try to to update today through wireless update but i only get the message "network connection failed". So i unroot the phone using the the tutorial forum.xda-developers.com/pure-xl/general/twrp-recovery-root-blu-pure-xl-allview-t3269447 by bemolx
it keep saying "network connection failed" on WIFI or 4G, internet is ok and working.
But i notice something weird: I can't set the camera Storage Location to Internal Memory, only to SD card. (Also whatsapp can't receive any media) . I don't know if i did something wrong at the first time when i root the phone or if this is related to the update that i am not able to install. By the way if somebody manage to download this update as a zip and share with the community. ? maybe others are having the same problem?

Native phone dialer not supported?

Today I started getting a popup on the phones dialer app saying "This device is not supported and phone calls may no work correctly". Anyone else getting this?
If the native dialer is not supported, what good is this phone?

I haven't see this. You could try clearing cache and/or clear data of the phone app.
Did you get phone app updated? Go to play store and see when the update was released. I know that google recently released an update to the phone app and it would be interesting to see if the update broke functionality.

The app updated recently and I reverted back to the older version and the same thing happens. Cleared data/cache and the problem still exists.
Am I the only one?

This looks like a carrier is upset that you brought your own device...
What carrier are you on... And where did you buy your device from?

Apps won't install

I've got an issue that I also saw on my note 8 before I switched to the op 7, when I go to install or update apps from the Google play store it gets to 99 percent or 100 percent it hangs and doesn't finish the install. I've tried all the wipes and clearing data and cache. Any ideas? Thanks.
Updating in case some one else has this issue, seemed to work for me. I wiped the following:
Play services
Playstore
And this one I hadn't done before
Download manager.
I've never really looked into something like the dm but after all the wipes and force stops I rebooted the phone and it seems to be working now.
Hope this can help someone in the future.

Scratch that, worked installing 2 apps, back to the same.
I have the same problem. There are brief moments when everything just works, but they are rare and it's ultra annoying
So I had a VPN installed, and I deleted the app, and now it seems to be working fine. I didn't have it enabled when downloading the app, and I found it sometimes gives me issues on my pc with connecting at first to an internet connection, so I thought there might be some correlation. The VPN I use is express. I'll keep trying to install apps and see if it resolved the issues.

So did I, and it started not installing again. I'm thinking its possible the sim might have something to do with it.

And you tried with New one? It works with New sim?
I haven't, need to take it in to have it copied, or do it myself. Never done it.
Another thing, never really took time to learn about sims, but if I pull the card in my phone, and just threw the new one that came with the phone will it work the same? With my number and everything?
I am also having this issue and even after a factory reset apps will not install. I tried removing my SIM card etc. Nothing seems to be working. The next thing I am going to try is installing the latest OTA update again manually via the downloaded zip from OnePlus's site.
Update: I tried installing the OTA manually, wiping all data, cache, etc and still the play store is not working correctly. I have never installed customer ROMs on this device or modified it in any way. Oxygen OS has been great so I never saw a reason to mess with it. In addition to that I have not even unlocked the bootloader.
Update 2: Some things are installing but it is exceptionally slow. I do not have any VPN apps or anything and this is a fresh wiped device. I cleared all system data, cache etc. Could it be a Google server side issue or something like that? Tying to side-load open source apps they install without issue instantly.

Google Playstore - Download Pending

Ok, so recently jumped ship from iOS to a Pixel 3a. It's been a couple months and now the past 2 days all downloads, including updates refuse to download or update with the message "Download Pending"
I've cleared the cache from both the Play Store and download manager, rebooted and also force rebooted.
I REALLY do not want to have to factory restore this phone to fix this issue.
What are my options to fix this issue? I trust people on XDA are a lot more reliable and smarter than a random forum to post in.
The Pixel is rooted, Magisk has Play Store hidden. No changes in the OS to guess why this issue has popped up.
Help needed, thank you in advance

I don't think it would effect this issue, but you don't need to hide the Google Play store in Magisk.
Have you changed locations or at least networks? It very well may be a network issue and not a phone issue.

Just wait one or two days and it will back to normal.
It happened on my device and I tried everything and couldn't fix it. I just let the "download pending" there and the next day it just worked.
It's not a network issue as I had another pixel 3a working at the same time.
It's more like google is updating or checking for update for play services silently and that process is somehow stucked. As a result, the system think there is something downloading/updating and put all other download into pending.
Another temporary fix you can try is to restart the phone while it's showing"download pending" (don't cancel the download) and re-open play store. You may see the previous pending download will start downloading but any new download will still be pending.
Ok i cleared the cache & data from Play store, download manager and download (sys app) and it worked for about 10 minutes and we're back to download pending.
Doing the same thing does not now work.
RIP my patience

Nope, still with the same network provider and on the same wireless network & ISP at home.
Nothing has changed, one day just decided it doesn't wish to work
