[Completed] to install stump root - XDA Assist

for my LG G2 the phone alarmed " virus Trojan"

Hi,
Almost every file we use on XDA will be reported as a virus, cause many manipulate system files. That's completely normal.
Any more questions about your issue should be asked here...

Hi,
You will need to ask for help here,

You will likely need a computer to do this though.
Any future questions about your device should be asked in the thread above.

[Completed] [Q] Broken Phone (mostly)

I had rooted the LG G3 D855 a while ago and I wanted to get the lollipop update so I unrooted the phone and tried to update it but it didn't work. After that I said since I did that why don't I go to lollipop so I found a rom here on XDA that worked. I downloaded the files but realized I needed root again and searched for a way to root it. Long story short I tried both root programs there and after a factory reset I am left with no home screen at all, no keyboard, and no way to launch almost any app. Is there any way to install a rom without root?
Hi,
You don't need root to flash roms... What you need is a custom recovery.
Here is a dedicated help thread in your device section that you can ask for help in,

Hi,
It would probably be helpful if you elaborated on what exactly was fixed so others have an idea. You can add details when you ask in this dedicated thread for your device I found here,
> Android Development and Hacking > Android General > LG Optimus VU 2 ( F200S / F200K / F200 L) - discussion, root, recovery, ROMs,
You will need to register on XDA to ask for help there.

[Completed] [Q] rootin lgg3 with purpledrake

First thank you for all your hard work. I've been tryn to root my lgg3. I've used codefire stump method but i get a "file has been patched" error. So i decided to go with Purpledrake program. I could not use the script option so i whent with the manual installation, after educating myself on how to use and install sdk and ADB files I finally got the program to work. Once I finish transferring all files manually with the command screen and reboot my phone it looks like everything worked but my phone is still not rooted. So any help with this will be greatly appreciated, Thank you
