First thank you for all your hard work. I've been tryn to root my lgg3. I've used codefire stump method but i get a "file has been patched" error. So i decided to go with Purpledrake program. I could not use the script option so i whent with the manual installation, after educating myself on how to use and install sdk and ADB files I finally got the program to work. Once I finish transferring all files manually with the command screen and reboot my phone it looks like everything worked but my phone is still not rooted. So any help with this will be greatly appreciated, Thank you

Hi,
I can't find anything relevant on XDA about this, so you can try one of the generic root methods at the top of the list here,
XDA Root Directory
And if nothing works, you can ask for help here,

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
I see there are three options to root the G3, and the other two seem to require a PC. You can borrow the use of one, be it a friend, or a computer at a library or community centre (the ones I worked at used Deep Freeze to protect it, which allowed to install anything without risking the PC - just reboot once done).
There may be more options than that, so please go ahead and create an account, and from there you can post in other forums. But the thread of interest right now is the [FAQ][HELP THREAD] LG G3 | Ask any question | FAQ in first post [Noob Friendly] thread of the > LG G3 > G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
