Hey everyone!,
I just got my One Plus One today and I was setting up Google Play Movies (Stock ROM, No Root) and whenever I try to play a movie (regardless of being HD or not) it doesn't play. It just shows the spinning circle. When I try to download a movie that is HD, it shows the download to only be around 353MB and gets stuck at 0%?
Can anyone help me out?

If you are talking about playback, yep the build in video player is glitchy. Try VLC beta on the play store.

Has anyone tried to purchase TV episodes through the Google Play store or through the Play TV & Movies app? I noticed that when I search for TV episodes in the play store on my One X, no TV shows are returned in the search results. I also noticed that if I select a "featured" TV show through the Play TV & Movies app, there is no option to purchase a TV show episode. I contacted Google Play support about this and I have an open ticket, but I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this issue on an AT&T HTC One X?

have you installed the play store apk that came from jellybean? You need that.
Thanks, I didn't realize that I need Jellybean(or components thereof) to purchase a TV episode from the Play Store though. I'm not sure how that makes sense for Google to cripple the ICS version of the Play Store. Google is saying that anyone who doesn't have Jellybean can't purchase TV show episodes?

They just haven't pushed out the official update to the play store yet.

Subesequently found out it's not just me, not just my handset, and that google play sucks bawls.

Have a mk808 with 4.2.2 firmware running on a 1080p connection. Pretty much everything works fine. I can watch mpg videos from my micro sd, can watch youtube sd and hd movies, can even watch trailers inside google play movie store. The problem is with my purchased hd movies. Even when I downloaded them and have them locally when I click play that little spinning circle (waiting signal) starts spinning in the center of the screen and I can wait there for an hour that the video doesnt start playing. This is weird and I could not think of a reason for that, since every other type of video I've tried works fine. Any ideas ??

I had nothing but video problems with stock 4.2.2. The only thing that made Google videos, Netflix and hulu plus work on my mk808b was flashing finless 1.7 rom. Even his 2.0+ roms didn't play the above right on mine and I don't have a clone.

Try the mx player from the play store and download the custom codex
Tanx man. That was also my solution. I found the new 2.1 ROM by Finless and it worked perfectly. Now all video services are working, and the system seems to be performing nicely too.

Dunno? Slow internet? I am watching Transformers Dark of the Moon (free with my nexus 7) in HD or so my shield claims I am. I am starting to hate google, youtube is broken the movies keep crashing and if I try and skip back to where I was at the last crash it insta-crashes.

Yea, google play movies got issues...had trouble for a few days tryna stream Epic and Olympus has Fallen. finally works. Looks like i'm getting HD...on Shield...little icon at bottom right says it's HD (tap to turn on HD, turns Red)

So I just flashed the 4.3 ROM by dreamcwli, and graphical glitches aside it seems to work perfectly - except for Google Play Movies, which is a huge part of what I used my tablet for. Unfortunately movies will not play on it, and will just give me the spinning circle but eventually tell me that "There was a problem while playing." This happens on multiple movies on multiple accounts, but does not happen when I play it via Chromecast. If I try to download the movie and play it, it gives me a similar message with a "-2000" error code at the end. Any tips? Thanks everyone!
