Help me about Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman?

Hello friends,
I'm new to this forum and also to Android phones just have a rough idea about it. Now I've just bought a new SE LWW and upgraded to Android 4.0.4 from 2.3.4 using Sony PC Companion. But when I opened bluetooth tab for the first and tried to change the Device name I was unable because I was not able to see any tab of "Change Device Name" (I've turned ON Bluetooth), so anyone can please explain me how can I change Bluetooth Device name?
And also What are the benefits of Rooting? Should I root my phone (I've fear of Bricking)? If yes how should I root my SE LWW Android-4.0.4? Also can I unroot my phone back? How? Also please give every detail in brief! Hope so the members will help me to the extent.

Try asking Google?? Or look around forums maybe even ask somone who is in the Sony forums they more likely to know

Don't try to root if warranty matters to you. Also remember that a failed rooting effort can brick your device. Rooting benefits are:
Installing root specific apps
Installing clockwork recovery mod
Changing OS and ROM of your device.

I have lww too my friend.
For rename Bluetooth in 4.0.4 you have to go to settings and Bluetooth and touch menu ( that's a touchable button near home button in down of you phone ) and now you can see : Rename my Device ! Enjoy !

But about rooting.
You must downgrade ( by flashtools ) your phone to 2.3 and root it and now again upgrade to 4.0.4 and now you can root this phone.
You can root your phone by flashtools.
Download it ( flashtools )
You can install custom rom by it....
And do very things! And enjoy...

That very not true..
U will void a warranty on a sony by unlocking the bootloader..as u got to do it officially and they have the info in their server. Rooting however, would not as they won't know if u ever did it. Just flash it with stock rom before sending it.
2011 Xperia has some limitations than can only be solve by root.
1)link2sd to solve the low internet memory
2)swap, to maybe help with the low ram
3)uninstalling bloatware
4) install 2012 Xperias apps like walkman
Xtra reason
1) stop seeing advertisement
2) use vpn to safe some data quota

[Q] few question about chinese smartphone and there rom.

hey
i just got my new android smartphone, im surfing here alot but im new registered user so i cant put link after 10 messages...
the smartphone is NO.1 I9400 can be found in sites like pandawill and lightake.
and i got some question... by the way the phone have root and the normal android recovery
1. i wonder if i can put on it rom that beased on other phone
because there is no custom rom for this one..and the rom i got with him is lame,
2. where can i get the rom that already on the phone..is it possible? the company have no web...or at least i didnt found the site.
3. is there any rom that made to work on all phone
i mean to install it and it will reconize the phone hardware and all, like a general rom for all phone
4. is it possible to put total clean ics 4.1.2? that never have been change on this phone? if so where can i download it?
i have 4.1.2 but it look like it have been customed by the supplier..
5. can i take custom rom like cm9 and change it to work with my phone? like self customize it but in nooby way with guild because im not a developer so i have no experience with building roms...

Basiclly your out of luck here, Almost no China based devices are here. So your better off looking on some china sites.

[Q] NEWBIE!!

Im 50 yrs old and my family upgraed me to this boost galaxy s2 phone, a buddy showed me this site where i could root phone with this free app called kingo root !!; i did so and a root checker basic program says im rooted as he put a program called titanium backup and super user on it and said if i wasnt rooted threy wouldnt run!??? Anyhow i am reading on several different threads or sites my phone is considered an epic 4g touch!?? Is this correct?? I want to change to the new kitkat mod 11 i have been hearing about but dont know what programs i need to imnstall it or where to find a complete list on all things needed to put it on my phone!! I am dredfully sorry if im asking this for the million time!! Could u please help me fond on ur site if u have all i need to upgrade my sphd710 bst galaxy s2 by boost mobile!! If you don't have access to a PC I highly recommend you don't root. With root, if you mess something up you'll need a PC to return to stock and get your device running again.

ok, i dont normally turn to forum boards for help/advice, but i really want to root my new android phone after loving my rooted samsung s5.
my phone is a wileyfox spark x
i have tried kingroot pc and apk
kingo root pc and apk
and irook apk
non of these have been successful
does anyone have anyother tools i could try? or a working method?

for the record i know Cyanogen is collapsing and wiley fox is moving to stock Android N, in which rooting should be easy.
i dont want to update from cyanogen and i wish to root it how it is
dont suggest anything involving updating or flashing stock android, rooting isnt that big of a deal for me
