[Completed] rooting wileyfox spark x - XDA Assist

ok, i dont normally turn to forum boards for help/advice, but i really want to root my new android phone after loving my rooted samsung s5.
my phone is a wileyfox spark x
i have tried kingroot pc and apk
kingo root pc and apk
and irook apk
non of these have been successful
does anyone have anyother tools i could try? or a working method?

for the record i know Cyanogen is collapsing and wiley fox is moving to stock Android N, in which rooting should be easy.
i dont want to update from cyanogen and i wish to root it how it is
dont suggest anything involving updating or flashing stock android, rooting isnt that big of a deal for me

Yeah I need some help with it too.
Lenovo a336t
Hi,
I have the Lenovo a336t bought from china. It has android 2.3.6 with a MTK6513 CPU. I have rooted the phone. But I have little knowledge on custom roms. This is the first time I'm using an android phone. And I have a few questions.
Can anyone suggest me some good roms that will go with with my phone?
Can I upgrade the android version without a loss in performance?
What will happen if I (can) install roms that were made for other phones like samsung, ZTE, HTC... etc. or a rom that was made for a different model of lenovo phone.
I cannot use activesync and therefore the android market doesn't work, and a lot of apps doesn't install as well. Specially browsers like Google chrome or Firefox. And so I thought flashing my phone should be a good idea?
Can anyone give me a solution? I searched the whole internet!
Thanks!

I am also in the same boat as this user. I just want to remove the default apps that came pre-installed. I have searched the forum with key words 'Alcatel OT922' and didn't get many hits.
Make that 3 of us. So far, I've tried One Click Root (failed), Superoneclick (hangs on step 7 every time) and 74root (failed). Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Me too please
Make that 4, I would also like to know this please. Thank you :good:

[Completed] [Q] ZTE Blade L3

Hello World!
So I have a problem with my device, I rooted a lot of phones before but I just can't root this one, tried faramroot, towelroot, rootgenius, kingoroot, oneclickroot, mobogenius.....I just can't root it, it says it's "too sold" so, are there any tools I've missed?
Sorry for bad english, it's not my native language.
Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist You cannot root a device straight away you have to first research few things and then you have to adapt it to your device
Good Luck!
I tried too, but all instructions say to use the tools i already tried, so what else could i try, it's running kitkat 4.4.2, mby root by using update.zip, 'cause i can accses the chinise recovery, but there is no option to install from zip, just update.zip
Sent from my ZTE Blade L3 using XDA Free mobile app
EDIT: I solved my problem using the IRoot app, the pc version, not the apk version
Glad to hear that it solved

[Completed] [Q] G-Tab P700+ isn't getting rooted up!

Hey there! I've been around all this ROM and Root stuff for almost a year now! I have a Tab called G-Tab P700+! I'm stuck with rooting the device! I've used Framaroot and KingRoot to gain access to the tab to change the firmware to try something different! It didn't work on both! I'm trying to fit a Lollipop firmware in this tab! Can anyone guide me on how to root this tab! Thanks in advance! :

Hello, this is herna from XDA Assist.
Well, the only three ways I know to root a device are Kingroot, Framaroot and flashing SU throught recovery. Since you´ve tried both of them, I would suggest you to search on Google about it, since we don´t have a G-Tab P700+ section in our forum, which means nearly no development for it.
You could try to search if there is other developer, and the best way to get root working would be tweaking the kernel, which requires a little of knowledge.
As said before, try on search information along Google, and good luck with it.
Cheers!

[Completed] Rooting Wileyfox Spark X Please?

Hello XDA
I need help with rooting a Wileyfox Spark X;
I have googled for methods but nothing has come up on XDA and I only trust this site not to brick another phone! lol.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Edit: I see XDA offers root options such as Kingroot and Framaroot, are these safe to just try?
Hi !
Every device is different and the methods above may be risky indeed , unfortunately not all devices can be classically rooted via supersu
Read the threads you`ve found and draw yourself a conclusion , as there is a possibility to not work , we can`t say they are safe
Cheers !
