For anybody running CM12 BETA on their D850 G3, I got it to work by doing the following,
Make a backup of your boot img in twrp.
Copy the backup from your external SD to your computer, using a micro SD adapter.
Make a backup of that folder somewhere else, in case.
Open the folder until you find two files. Edit the one that is NOT the MD5 (for obvious reasons)
Replace the values as posted above.
Save the edited file
Go back into twrp and hit restore, then select the boot file and restore.
I Think it is working, but i can't find any text or anything that used to look over sharpened to compare. help me out and post a link or photo to view?

Running D850 and this kernel takes very long to post. Sometimes it will not start to boot the os until I press a volume key. Any idea?

[Q] (TOTAL newbie here) after I do 1 click root, how do I go about downloading CM 10?

Hi, sorry I didn't post this in development...but I don't have enough posts to do so.
Anyway, I came from an iphone, and just got a galaxy s3, and I want to run CM 10.
After using this guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2332825),
How would I be able to run CM 10?
Thanks guys!
This is a question so you don't post this in development you post this in the Q& A section.

And just to answer your question there are stickies in the development section that help you with all your flashing needs. The only thing different from flashing a TW ROM than an AOSP ROM is that you need to flash the Gapps. But basically you need a custom recovery, after that download the ROM and Gapps and place them on your SD card. Not sure if the one click unlocks the bootloader (too lazy to check) but if it doesn't you need to unlock your bootloader. Once all that is done you boot into recovery, make a backup, wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, format system (OPTIONAL but RECOMMENDED), then install ROM, install Gapps, then reboot and you should be good to go.
Please note this is very basic guide and I don't go into much detail. So if you're confused check the stickies. I actually HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking them anyway. Lots of good stuff.

try using their website. it has all the information on there. if you want some of the unofficial builds you can pull one out of one the deverlopment thread sections. i hope you know how to flash a rom if not they got directions for that under the general support section or you can read through the threads on here. Beans is amazing for modifying the casual root method but i liked it so much better when odin was involved. there was just enough steps to keep people away from trying because they was afraid they would brick the phone.

I would recommend an app like goomanager where you can flash cm and gapps all at once and it appears to also give you the options to wipe before you install which is very handy and you can do it from the app which is great for beginners.

Lightspeed mod, info displaying on home screen?
I installed the Lightspeed mod on my SGH-i727. When my phone is on, on the main home screen there is about 15 lines of phone info, displayed in black text. It runs over the top of my app shortcuts. Is there a way to disable this, so that it does not display the information?
Thanks,
-Goatchicken-

Awesome tweaks man will try them out.
Ok,
I'm having some build.prop issues...
My edits revert back to default after a reboot or two.... I've looked for a duplicate build.prop file in other folders that the ROM may be using to restore from but have found nothing.... It's really frustrating, because my phone starts lagging and gets buggy without my prop edits, sms delays and fails never-ending app installs stuff like that... And once it reverts back to the default I can't edit it again without the phone being forced to reboot and not taking any changes I make. I have to do a system wipe and re-flash the ROM or a nandroid restore to be able to edit it again... very very frustrating. Please help
Using the only ROM around for now thanx to snovvman for making it available...

Hi. How can i change only the dpi from the Edge screen through the AppSettings???
Where can i find it? What is the package name?
Hi. I am with "super fast and famous" and can't change the dpi individually. With official Rom rooted it was possible. What's the problem now?

In currently working on USB detection so when the device is plugged in it automagicly gets the model, android version, state and mode it's in. But I'm getting some errors I need to fix before release...
As for the update. Don't expect one for a few weeks (roughly 9 weeks) as exams are less than 2/3 weeks away [emoji15]
