I have a mt6582 phone, its been rooted but i decided ti get everything back to stock and unroot (including stock recovery)
now i wanted to root it back but the problem is my usb port on my phone is broken. (able to charge but not recognized in pc, tried another pc same problem)
I wanted to try rooting via wireless adb but the app requires me to connect first via usb to configure adb wireless.
Is there anyway i can do everything wireless? try framaroot and every one-click app but exploits dont work.

Hi I can't find anything relevant to your device so here's a couple options.
1. Get your device repaired

Hi Guys,,, I got Tf300Tg....I just updated it to new firmware ww 10.6.310..Now there is Stock recovery,,,,Bootloader is showing "Unlocked Device".
Now problem is that USB is not working even i have purchased the new cable,,,but my pc is not detecting my Asus TF300tg. However charging is ok.
Now i need to root it,,obviously rooting requires TWRP and specially USB pc link......
Is there any way to Install TWRP Without PC support?????????????????

If you root with motochopper you can use Terminal Emulator app on the tablet to install TWRP. You can also try installing the Universal Naked Drivers for ADB and fastboot to connect with your computer.
Well I am aware of all these methods but problem is in My tablet's USB/Charging slot, may there is some pin damaged that is why USB in not detecting,,,,Even i have every thing in my PC like Universal naked Drivers,,,Android SDK,,Motochopper Etc, Not only This couple of Months ago I have "unbricked" my Asus TF300tg using Fastboot Commands and Flashed New Blob,,,,, Everything was working well now i have decided to Root it but TWRP was replaced by the Stock Recovery....That is why is asked whether there is any way to root it through any App or WIFI...
I had to install the 4.3 firmware on my S3 since it got soft-bricked, but it seems that even though I installed the Samsung USB Drivers and installed Odin, my phone won't connect to Odin. I tried using different charging wires and different USB ports, and that doesn't work either. Even my friend's phone, which was an S3 as well, managed to connect to Odin with the same charging wires. Is it something to do with my phone? I need help with this.
My S3 updated to 4.3 (locked bootloader) and I can't make it connect via USB, it won't connect. I've tried everything, every link I can find, reghacks, drivers (countless installs/etc). I know what I'm doing, I've been using computers longer than a lot of posters here have been alive.
The thing is the device isn't telling the PC what type of Hardware it is, let alone the PC having drivers. I actually think my phone is toast - I'm glad it still charges and you can (if you're not rooted) root via Towelroot without a PC.

But it is not working (the mouse is not powering up). As I can not access my phone to install any apps or even if I install an app from browser, I can not open it. So is there a way to install any package or something which can enable the OTG support? My phone is rooted and I can access recovery mode.

New to this forum and new to Android root. I'm excited to get started!
I'm on an LGG3 850 and running Lollipop 5.0.1.
I've followed the root instructions, when I power off the phone, hold down the up-volume and plug in the USB, I get to the Firmware screen. I then use Command Window to insert command string and all looks good, but they don't actually install on phone. I think it's because every time I unplug USB and plug back in USB tethering is off and has to be on for phone to connect to computer. USB Debugging is on. Any suggestion to keep USB tethering ON as the default?

You don't need USB tethering for adb the problem is probably with USB debugging. Had the same problem with my Lenovo A6000 and I don't have a solution for this but an alternative method. First install kingroot to root your phone and install flashify for flashing custom recovery
Need help. I have VERIZON s6. Need root or update. Problem is that, usb conection not working. It motherboard problem. Usb otg working, charging workin.
I cant ota update, because have not verizon account. So I have just one way. Root it. But soft is OG5, it cant root without pc.

While you can adb connect to a device via WiFi, it requires root access afaik. So, unfortunately I worry you won't be able to connect via Wi-Fi. What's the rooting method you were thinking about?

I didnt anderstud samsung sidesync haw can get conection :/
