I have the Galaxy Note 4, I love outdoor activities and I bring the Galaxy Note 4 with me always, I have the Rugged Case for Galaxy Note 4, i-Blason Armorbox Dual Layer Hybrid Full-body Protective Case to protect my phone from bumps and other accidental drop when I do some activities, and it serves me well, I wonder if what are other alternatives for it, I would love to have one but reluctant to buy other brands, any recommendation based on your personal experience?
Here is the one that I bought
, i-Blason Armorbox Dual Layer Hybrid Full-body Protective Case
Can anyone suggest me another one?
Otterbox Defender...THE last case your Note4 will ever be in.

+1 for the Otterbox Defender, the commuter is also a perfect case for the Note 4.
I read that Otterbox defender this year is not good there are a lot of issues

I dunno where you got that info from. I've had the defender on mine since day one and no problems with it at all.
I don't know how you guys can put such an ugly bulky case on something so beautiful. Trust me, I'm all about protection, I've never cracked a phone before (*knock on wood*) but I feel like putting something like this iBlason case or the traditional OtterBox just covers up the true beauty of the phone. I usually go with a Spigen case (good protection, yet not as bulky). This time around I'm going for the Ringke Slim case with a wrist strap.

I understand where you're coming from and I too find the Ringke slim case exceptional in terms of looks and minor protection. But after using it for a whole month, I finally caved in and ordered an Otterbox Defender. I just don't want to be afraid of damaging my phone. Being able to use it with an extra peace of mind is worth sacrificing the appearance in my opinion. After all, you can always take it out of the case and it'll still be the beautiful, slim phone you purchased. But each to their own, I can only speak for myself.

so far i love the iBiason case I bought above, anyways going to try the Otterbox case maybe its good also, thanks for sharing
Is Tech Armor for rugged case a good buy?
I have the UAG and the Otterbox Defender for mine. I used a UAG on my Note 2 for 2 years and was completely satisfied and feel that it is a solid case. However, I like the amount of protection the Otterbox Defender gives and I also like the way it adds some bulk to the phone. It seems easier to hold.
That being said, it does not fit well in my pocket and I've actually started using a belt clip (included with the case) for the first time. The belt clip also doubles as a stand for your phone when you are charging it.

I wanna keep the phone as sleek as possible , what cases do you guys recommend ? any nice bumper case because I can't seem to find anything nice like I don't want those otterbox cases they make a phone look like a transformer.
Thanks guys

ive had a cheap little sleeve, and it really did nothing for protection. I know your against otterboxs, but I will still recommend a otterbox commuter. It DOES add some thickness to your phone, but it offers amazing protection. a sleeve really only protects from scratches, not big drops.

I went to the mall to test out the cheap cases and I could hear my phone hit the glass counter top when I gently turned it over. I went directly to Best Buy Mobile and overpaid for a Belkin... which is what I also bought for my original Incredible. I love the fit, protection, and coverage of the buttons. I clean my phones daily, so I like that the buttons aren't exposed.
Just my 2 cents.
Good luck with whatever you decide!
The inciPio silicrylic case. It's a slim 2 piece case at a reasonable price. It looks so GOOD to me. ( I have a white galaxy s 3 with the white and gray version of this case ) it's stylish, slim, and provides great protection

I have been really impressed with this case...not too bulky, nice grip on the side, the corners have extra reinforcement.
I have the Incipio Dual black/black on my white phone. Looks super sexy and really doesnt add much bulk while still providing great protection.

You can look at SGP's line of cases,
http://www.spigen.com/cell-phone/samsung/galaxy-s3.html
Samsung Galaxy S3 Case Neo Hybrid Color Series (TPU back cover and a polycarbonate frame)
Samsung Galaxy S3 Case Neo Hybrid Lumi Series (Same as Color Series but brighter colors)
Samsung Galaxy S3 Ultra Thin Air Series (Polycarbonate back)
Samsung Galaxy S3 Case Modello Series (TPU Case)
I've tried the Incipio case and currently use an Otterbox. The Incipio case was nice and the color complimented well, but felt too loose. The Otterbox fits tight, but is too tight for those who need to change battery frequently or whatever. I haven't completed decided which I like better.

I had the Spigen for my S4 and absolutely loved it. But, for my S5 I went for this one. I like it a lot and it is quite rugged. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IEFUC4C/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have both the Otterbox Commuter and Spigen Tough Armor Case. I use the Otterbox if I'm going to be outdoors at the beach or in the sand dunes 4 wheeling. It's bulky but does a better job at protecting the phone from the elements. However, the Otterbox case is NOT waterproof so keep that in mind. I use the Spigen case when I'm going to be in the office or indoors most of the time. They are slimmer and fits better in my pocket.
Seeing as our phones are waterproof and dustproof (for the most part anyway), the case not having that distinction isn't very important.
That being said, I have that exact Spigen case, and the only complaint I have so far is there's no beltclip for it. If that's important, get a case with a holster, otherwise, the Spigen works just fine. The Otterbox adds too much bulk for me..

Whatever anybody does, do not get the OtterBox preserver case. HORRIBLE! The two pieces that "snap" together come apart VERY easily. Pathetic.
there I said it.
-fits perfectly
-protects, like seriously
-not too thin, not too thick, just right
-not slippery, adds hand fitting design, holds well
-not fugly too thick for the sake of protection
-doesn't cost an arm and a leg
-isnt a lint or dirt magnet
-nothing crazy like waterproof or seethru
-protects your camera too, and front screen
-won't scratch your bezel
I just have to share this as many of you are still wasting time and money trying out diff cases. I suggest getting yourself a Thor first then knock yourself out with experimenting with all the others if you must. but for now, Thor is the best.
other companies really failed us on this one. they just wanted to release cases faster than they can test them out. turning us into guinea pigs.
Im sure that it doesnt have tech21 material on it. Tech21 cases are probably better than any cases out there and it has evidence with videos..
Pics?
I have to agree about the Tech21 case. I have it and it is light years away from the others I tried. Very nice case for the Note 4.
lol so superb
Agreed with LeoNote4 100%. I haven't removed the case since I got it. Much better feel than the Spigen cases. I have all of the Spigen cases and UAG Scout. May try the Tech21 Impact Tactical.
Anyone know if either of these will fit if I am using the OEM wireless charging cover?
Yes a very nice case and I really like it but I hate to try to find a holster to fit that.

This Pouch will fit it: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OJNK1B2/ref=pe_385040_127541860_TE_3p_dp_1
gpo1956...I don't think the case will fit with the charging cover. The note 4 fit with the Thor is tight. Fits like a glove.
Bought the Thor and IronShield Day 1 on Amazon. Loved the Thor soo much bought another. Haven't searched for a new case, nor taken it off since.

at some point, a company has to find the perfect balance over one perfect feature. tech21 major design flaw is it's design. it prides itself and rightly so on total protection of the device. this comes at a huge compromise in design. in addition to that dull appearance, the case also creates a lot of smudge from your hands and fingers. it gets annoying to clean up everytime and it looks too gross to show others.
users would find themselves looking for a case that still provides decent protection, maybe bulletproof is overkill, but just enough safety feature and still covers all the other points. nobody said its perfect in all areas, but what Thor provides is that reasonable balance in design, protection, grip, price without compromising so much on one or two features.
Bought this case in silver on ebay. Selling priced at $23.95(shipping included). This is the best one for the Note 4 so far

Umm except you forgot the fact that its thick and ugly lol. Rinkle slim is my favorite one so far. I mean I got a beautiful looking phone and I'm not gonna put that kind of case on it. But that's just my opinion.

I have the Tech21 Impactology wallet case and the OEM charging back; regrettably it does not fit but it's my favorite case with the normal back cover.
Can anyone using the Verus Thor case recommend, ideally from experience, a good car mount? In part because of the curved sides, it's difficult for me to judge the case's effective width use in a car mount.
TIA

only $16.95 now still worth the money??
I'm still a fan of the Otterbox Defender and the UAG cases. I have used both on my Notes. I don't mind the additional thickness in exchange for protection. I have dropped my Note 3 from chest high onto my concrete driveway with each case and the phone has survived just fine. I have gotten out of my car and forgotten that my phone was in my lap, only to have it drop onto the concrete. No problem!! I have seen all of the video's and listened to the claims of other cases, but I can personally attest to the fact that the 2 cases I have mentioned will protect your investment should you ever drop it.
Hey Guys,
After a long time with iPhone 5 i decide to Move to android and to buy Note 4, so i I ordered the note few days ago and now i have to choose which case i will buy. now i have 4 options of cases and i will glad if you will help me to choose.
its very important for me the case will be good for drops and shock and will fit nice on the note 4 and to have access to all buttons and to the fingerprint scanner and with the screen glass protector fit well. one more important thing is that the cover does not scratch the phone.
in short the the case have to be a great one
well here is my options,
i tried to put links and its gave me an error beacuse im a new user.
1. Spigen Slim Armor ( 1 Layer ) - spigen.com/galaxy-note-4-case-slim-armor.html
2. Incipio Dualpro ( 1 Layer ) - incipio.com/cases/samsung-smartphone-cases/samsung-galaxy-note-4-cases/samsung-galaxy-note-4-dualpro-case.html
3. Case-Mate Naked Tough ( 1 Layer ) - case-mate.com/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-4-Cases/Case-Mate-Samsung-Galaxy-Note-4-Naked-Tough-Cases.asp
4. Otterbox Symmetry ( 2 Layers ) - otterbox.com/Symmetry-Series-Case-for-Samsung-Galaxy-Note-4/sam28-galaxy-note-4,default,pd.html
which case do you recommend?
thank you very much for your help!
i would get the iblason armorbox + samsung wireless charging cover. they work great and no need for wired charging. the iblason also makes the phone water resistant for light rain.

If you want your phone in a case that's slim, easy to hold and offer decent protection choose the Verus Thor. If you want more protection and a badass looking case choose the UAG case. If I were to chose on your list, I'd pick the Otterbox Symmetry looks okay and for sure it offers good protection too and I will also stay away from Spigen cases, there's a lot of reports that their cases causes scratches on the chamfered edges of our Note 4.

Guys finally i bought a case, i chose Otterbox Symmetry. what you say about this case?
It's a great looking case with above average protection no doubt. The only thing that turned me off from the symmetry case when I had tried it on in store was the fact that the volume/power buttons were difficult to press. If it weren't for that I would have bought the symmetry then and there. Are the buttons hard to press on yours?

after i saw the spigen slim armor and the incpico i can tell you the otterbox symmetry is much better!
yes you right about the volume/power buttons but you get use to it.
So I got 3 cases for the Note 9. Defender, Samsung rugged case, and Caseology Legion.
I'm torn between the Defender and Samsung case.
Which case do you think is better protection wise? Do you think the rugged case offers good drop protection even though it's thin? I do like the kickstand on it though.
Which would you choose? Defender or Samsung Rugged case?
I'm using the Samsung case. I need the kickstand, it's light and provided the 360 protection.
I'm currently rocking the Caseology Legion, and I'm loving it. I usually switch back and forth Spigen/Caseology when it comes to cases because they've provided enough protection to my phones. Legion provides plenty of protection if you don't want a bulky rugged case, does add a bit of bulk but not the kind you'd get from an Otter defender imo (which I've tried). So out of those 3 I'd definitely stick with the Legion, the rugged Samsung is too bulky and ugly imo.
samsung rugged case. it's not really that thin. it is very well designed. pretty light, too. you won't find a better fitting rugged case for this phone. kickstand is so useful.

Yep! I usually prefer really thin cases but I feel that this case is the best balance between style, size and protection. May not meet OtterBox standards but also doesn't make your phone a brick
Spigen Tough armor has always been my go to case. Been using them ever since the Nexus 6p. I love my blue case with kickstand to go with my copper color exynos note.
