General:
These are UNOFFICIAL CM12.0 Lollipop Nightlies brought to you by Open Desire Project and TeamCodefire as a continuum to CM10, 10.1 and 11.0 builds. Builds are generated automatically on Sundays. Process starts around 00:30 PST/PDT. If it fails, then there will be no build until the reason for failure is taken care of which can take time. Last 7 nightlies will be kept on the server. If you want a longer history of them, you are free to archive them yourself.

DOGE1 Preview
DOGE1 Preview build is now available for download.
Notes:
WiFi works
Expect everything else to be broken.
MTP is default access to sdcard again due to UMS not working properly and even MTP is still wonky in this first build (you need to select it manually).
First boot takes around 40-50 minutes. Likely due to encryption or ART cache creation, or both. Hopefully we can get the boot time down in the future or testing will be very slow.
It's only tested with @jrior001's TWRP 2.8.1.0 recovery. If it doesn't work on your recovery, too bad. Flash TWRP in that case.
Recovery gives errors about mounting system and data partition. It flashes fine though.
Big thanks to @kylon and @paulb_nl for the cooperation with the bring-up work. It wouldn't be ready for download already without them.

Great news, my DHD is patiently charging ready for action.

The rom is excellent, fast and smooth. I found two big bug:
1 the network is not working
2 audio not working
For the rest seems to work optimally

Kernel 3.0.x on our DHD!!
PS. Haven't had a chance to test this yet, but hope to test next build, no time this week for a long first boot.
Edit:
Sorry, just checked / was reminded, that our DHD's were already on 3.0.X.

3.0.x karnel is present more than 2years...

Amazing, my old phone got 5.0 Update
5.0 is really fast, i hope you Desire HD user see the advantage of this.
For Galaxy S4 there were also no kernel 5.0 available, but we got a fully working 5.0.
Maybe you can get it to work with the old drivers

wow the awesome dhd has entered into the 5.0 era , watching this carefully
thanks for all the hard work Mustaavalkosta

Thank you Mustaavalkosta and the team for keeping DHD alive!

Yep, Google claimed that encryption will be completely transparent for user, nobody really believed it, but it wasn't also expected to bad as bad as it in fact is:
http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/1...us-6-encrypted-vs-unencrypted-its-not-pretty/
With modern devices it shouldn't matter though, but DHD doesn't have a hardware support for encryption and with its memory architecture it might have a significant impact on performance. I guess encryption will have to be switched off for Desire HD as soon as it will be possible.

Yeah, it's not encryption that's slowing down the first boot. paulb_nl discovered the switch for it later last night and it's not even turned on on Nexus 5 by default which I already predicted based on my testing on official 5.0 factory images. There are couple of other changes too in addition to ART like block mode flashing which completely changed what's inside the zip you are flashing. Hopefully fixing or reverting one of those will decrease the first boot time but this is just speculation for the time being.

Where would u like questions and or comments?here or other thread? I see that there are several for this ROM.

Well, this one is the development thread and the other one is Q&A thread. It's sometimes drawing a line in the sand to decide where to post and I won't be enforcing any strict rules. XDA is already enforcing a rule which prevents users with less than 10 posts to post on development thread and will be redirected to Q&A thread instead (AFAIK).
Edit: I mainly created Q&A to allow newcomers to participate too.

Yeah, those are filed under "Expect everything else to be broken". I was surprised that the first successful 5.0 build ever even booted up without being a total mess. These preview builds are not for daily use. They are just to satisfy the curiosity so I don't have to answer questions about CM12. When the basic functionality is ok, I'll start nightlies again.

This is an AOSP-based build with extra contributions from many people which you can use without any type of Google applications. I found a link from some other project that can be used to restore the Google parts, which can be found below or elsewhere in the thread. I've still included the various hardware-specific code, which seems to be slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Visit the CHANGELOG for a full list of changes and features!
All source code will eventually available at the CyanogenMod Github!
Kernel source code is availible at kornyone's github!

Thank you to EVERYONE involved in helping with testing, coding, debugging and documenting! Enjoy!
The current buglist:
- Recording in HD Video is limited to 720p currently.
- Camera zoom is limited to 2X.
- Certain browser issues, such as reported crashes and flash 11 movie compatibility issues. (CyanogenMod).
Other than those (relatively) minor bugs, this rom is perfect.
New Changes
- New release SelfKang1.
- All the good stuff in CM 7.1 / AOSP 2.3.7. I suggest looking at the official changelog for more information.
Please note flashing someone else's kernel may ruin your experience with this rom and I advise against it. This rom was a joint effort between Kmobs, Bumblebee, cretin45, toastcfh, defer, myself, and the rest of the CM team.

The official recovery was the first thing I flashed.
Odd that this would be necessary, but it appears your suggestion was spot on. Never had to do that for any of the other devices I've got running CM7. Thanks!

[ROM][Official]MyTouch4G Slide CyanogenMod 9 Alpha 6 (07/23) - 4.0.4

CyanogenMod 9 is a free, community built distribution of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) which greatly extends the capabilities of your phone.

*/
This is an alpha, with most critical functionality working.
Working with Senior CyanogenMod team members, I brought TBalden into the project. TBalden has brought his large amount of Doubleshot experience to CyanogenMod Doubleshot porting, and together we have created (in very short order) a stable Alpha. TBalden created a team for maintenance of the Doubleshot with CyanogenMod going forward, "TeamDS".
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Upgrading from previous Doubleshot CM9 Alpha?
1. It should be safe to flash the Alpha5 zip on top of previous alphas. DO backup your phone in case something goes wrong, but a wipe shouldn't be necessary coming from CM9 Alpha1.
NOTE that the install wipes /system, so you may find you need to reflash gapps.
- First time flashing CM 9 to your MyTouch4g Slide (or coming from another ROM)?
1. Unlock/root your device and install Clockwork Recovery via ROM Manager.
2. Do a Nandroid backup!
3. WIPE
4. Install the ROM
5. Optionally install the Google Addon
- Upgrading from earlier CM7?
1. Follow instructions above. CM upgrade from CM7 Alpha1 will likely incur weird issues.
HOW TO REPORT BUGS OR PROBLEMS?
- Was your problem a hard reboot? Get us the file "/proc/last_kmsg".
- Was your problem a soft reboot or a "boot loop"? Run "adb logcat" and get the full output.
- Pastebin links preferred.
- For now, please leave comments in the forums. TBalden and I will will be monitoring for activity as we continue to fix known issues.
- Join #TeamDS on Freenode to talk to us directly.

As of Alpha4, Doubleshot source (device and kernel) has official open source CyanogenMod repos, with Gerrit access (https://review.cyanogenmod.com)
----- CHANGES -----
Alpha6 Changelog (from Alpha5)
- Updated kernel base to v3.0.36 from upstream AOSP branch.
- Updated keylayout. TAB now mapped to ALT+TAB, www./.com functions properly.
- Camera is no longer crashing (in our testing). This is from an upstream CM frameworks change.
- Bluetooth wake lock is "fixed". When paired with handsfree audio, etc, and in standby, deep sleep works as expected.
- Bluetooth tethering is functional, though not 100% yet.
- Upstream changes in CyanogenMod. See http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#/q/status:merged,n,z for info on these Upstream changes.
Please note that camera and bluetooth functionality are still a work in progress. In testing, we find more compatibility, less crashing, less power consumption overall. If you find steps to reproduce crashing, etc, please capture logs.
The current buglist:
- If you use Face Unlock, I have experienced an issue where sometimes the screen will go "dark" when attempting to unlock the phone, requiring a battery reset. This is infrequent, but only Face Unlock causes this problem.
- Recording in camcorder @ 1080 doesn't work. (Other modes are fine, we have not removed 1080p from options yet).
- Lights issues (more than one):
-- Function keys on physical keyboard do not light up (CAPS/ALT), but the buttons work.
-- Backlight on keyboard works most of the time, but can randomly go dark.
- Random battery statistics issues. Not all people have this issue, it seems specific to the battery you use.
- Google+ Hangouts do not work right now.
- Very occasional radio (4g and sometimes bluetooth/wifi) dropoff/reset. Some have reports a SIM card message requesting power reset, which can be cleared by hitting back. Other times, turning data on/off resolves issue.
Please note flashing someone else's kernel may ruin your experience with this rom and I advise against it. This rom was a joint effort between kornyone & tbalden. A LOT of core works for msm8660 was put in by many CM Team members, and much of our work is based on their: toastcfh, Kali-, Kmobs, Bumblebee, cretin45, and all of the rest of CM!
You can get all of the Doubleshot source from the following URLs:

if you're S-On, then get the installer zip, extract the boot.img from the zip, and

[ROM][Official][4.4.4] CyanogenMod 11.0 Nightlies for the Verizon Galaxy S3 (d2lte)

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4.4 (Kitkat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Q&A Thread
Code:

* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.
Instructions
First time flashing CyanogenMod 11.0 your device, or coming from another ROM?
Download the zip(s).
Install a compatible Recovery (see here)
Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
Wipe data & cache partitions of your device (required when coming from stock!).
Flash CyanogenMod.
Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package.

DO NOT REPORT BUGS FOR NIGHTLY BUILDS!
Other Issues?
Before posting on this thread, make sure of a few things:
Make sure you have the LATEST version of ClockworkMod recovery. Other recoveries may work but will not be supported by CyanogenMod
You've utilized the search function of the forums. Nothing irritates me more than lazy people who do not search for an answer before asking.
If you are the only one having a problem. Boot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, reflash the rom/gapps and nothing else. Boot up and see if the problem persists.
Make sure your post is relevant to this thread. "I'm having problems rooting/unlocking" is NOT relevant here.

Experience issues? As these are nightlies, bug reports are not accepted. You are relying on yourself and your peers in this thread for support!

Might be a good idea to include a note about making sure you're on the latest firmware under the Before posting on this thread section. That seems to be a big issue for a lot of people.
GApps
Should we use the PA KitKat gapps when flashing or use the 11-19 gapps you have in your collection?
NVM I answered my own question.
So glad to see your name in this forum. A trusted name for years now! Thank you so much Invisiblek!
Is this based one 4.4.1 yet? Will the camera upgrades make its way to us on the S3 or were they just for the N5? Just wondering.

One thing to note, DO NOT flash over the 10.2 or any ohter nightly. I get constant reboots.
I had to wipe all and flash from scratch.

rom review
post flash- clean flashed rom, gapps, restored from TiBU, flashed kanged gapps and kt kernel and everything is working perfectly so far! Awesome rom!
Thanks Invisiblek for this thread and your work!
I got some early errors with gapps crashing after I switched over to ART but rebooting after that, haven't had a problem.
Not supposed to be using ART on this phone. Its for devs only. No need for it. It doesn't do anything except make certain apps unusable.

Thanks for the information guys. I appreciate it. Its turned on now and everything works for me - I'll probably shut it off if something becomes unstable.
I did notice that the "Location" item in the Quick Settings menu says it is off even though location services are turned on. Not a big deal I don't toggle it very often but just thought I'd mention it.
Also, anyone know any setting to make the new launcher do landscape?

Camera quality seems to be great on CM11. I tested this next to a stock Verizon G3 and the only difference I noticed between the 2 would be the color temperature. One macro image I took with both was noticeably better on the one with CM11.
so does the laser auto focus still seem to function correctly with this?
is there any real way to verify that it is working except supposed time to capture image by estimation

CyanogenMod and D2VZW: Together Again!
--------------------DANGER!! CMUpdater is providing the new CM13 Marshmallow nightly builds and notifying you of an update. IT SEEMS THERE ARE NO MORE UPDATES FOR CM12! 12/10 seems to be the last one. If you flash CM13 without looking into things first, you could be in for a world of hurt! Check out invisiblek's Official CM13 Nightlies thread in this same forum. BEWARE!!--------------------

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 5.1.x which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Notes:
Please Use Firmware: VRBMF1
and
Modem/Baseband Version: NE1 (Also, see "Notes - Possible Bugs" section below)
(EDIT: The following statement might not be true. It happened to one user. Unsure about circumstances... If you've done it or want to try, please tell us what happens.)If you have recently downgraded firmware from 4.3 to 4.1.2, DO NOT flash the MF1 firmware. You'll brick your device!
If you know you never took the 4.3 OTA, then you can flash the firmware and modem to your hearts content.
CWM Recovery addicts: Please seriously consider giving up CWM and come on board with what works for sure with 5.1.x, TWRP. Problems have been coming up with CWM users so if you have one, that's were to start. Hopefully there's a 12-step program somewhere for y'all

Download Links :: Download Links Broken!! - On or about 12/18 the links for 12.1 ceased to function. The links for 12.1 and 13 are all listed on the same page at the moment as well. While 12.1 builds have continued to come out every few days or so for other devices, the last one for the d2vzw is for 12/10 at the moment. I don't know if this is a temporary of permanent state of affairs but inquiries are forth coming. In the mean time, the 12/10 build is in the "d2vzw ROM Extras" link below so at least we got that, thanks to XdrummerXboy.
Also, if you have a build from about 11/15 and later hanging around you could upload it for others to access, if need be, by following the instructions from this post: Upload Instructions

Google apps addon:
TK Modular GApps by TKruzze. Get your GApps from the Master. Follow his installation instructions.
Open GApps:opengapps.orgThey are modular AND have the option of Aroma Installer. Updated daily. Very interesting story on these. There is the website, and an XDA thread.
>>>WARNING!!<<< The first time one installs Open GApps, you have to do it with a ROM update (or reinstall current ROM) AND manually wipe the system partition first. Then install the ROM and the GApps normally, then wipe Dalvik and Cache. After that, you can flash them anytime. (More info on Website.) ALSO, for now, don't install Webview as it might not work. There is an "Android System Webview" in the Play Store that will work.
Other Options:
The Gapps Central For those of you who just have to be different, a GApps Smorgasbord, by TheXGX
Banks Gapps removed after just one too many malfunctions... If you use 'em and have a problem, update from the Play Store your offending app or flash one of these others, but don't come complainin'.

Other Possibly Useful Stuff
d2vzw ROM Extras
Link to TWRP Recovery You can flash the .img file right in TWRP recovery 2.8.4 or later!
- All you ever wanted to know about how Cell service works but were afraid to ask: Cell Wiki
- Samsung Galaxy S 3 the most popular phone of all time? Still? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S_III
Notes - Possible Bugs
Bluetooth observed as flaky with some connected devices.
CMUpdater apparently only functional with TWRP 2.8.7.0
4G/LTE Data might not start on bootup (lately) - With Wifi disconnected or off, go to Settings>Mobile Networks>Access Point Names and select one of those not already selected. Give it a few seconds. Should be good till next reboot.
Addendum to Data Issue: If you can't live with the above solution (like me) then downgrading to the ML1 modem has fixed it, seemingly without any ill effects. Modem is in the "d2vzw ROM Extras" link above.
>>Attention ATT, T-Mobile and other GSM Network Users (International)<<
If you use your d2vzw on one of the GSM networks, you will have to flash the d2gsm_rilblobs.zip file in the 'd2vzw ROM Extras' link above or your phone won't operate properly!
The CyanogenMod team (of which I'm not a member) always thanks everyone involved in helping with testing, coding, debugging & documenting! Enjoy!
Another Note: CM12 was introduced to our phone first by mastamoon and Invisiblek: Many thanks to them! There may be data on those threads that can help someone, so I've included those links for reference:

@Master Cylinder, you can use mine for now.. http://mastamoon.truelinux.net/firmware/ Just note that you have to flash the firmware first, then the modem. Otherwise the firmware, which contains a modem, will overwrite the newer modem.
CyanDelta sounds greate. However, I get FC with it. Reboot does not help.
