Why is the iPhone the top phone in the forum list and not the HD2?
This is purely a question and in no way meant to start some kind of crazy "Which is the best phone" argument that can be found all over this forum. I just find it ironic for an anti Apple community. Or is that the point, showing off what we don't aspire to be?
If anybody knows I'm interested.
Regards
what list?

Because XDA is not really meant for the Iphone, but they had to include it somewhere. And its not really the phone specifically. It is for IOS. So if you look at the forum list, it goes Android, Windows Mobile, WP7, then IOS. Below that is when it starts going into actual devices.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A
I understand w8 is supposed to one is for all, but how about a section just for w8 devs / apps for the surface? I'm assuming this is going to be mostly PRO versions of the device, given the shortcomings of the arm version.
thoughts?
There was a full Surface section and now its just under the Winodws 8 section
What happened?
Hacks for Win RT or Surface RT can go under Win8 dev forum, or here. I think any additional forum would depend on how active the development community will be for Surface. It wastes resources, and makes XDA look bad in the bargain, if created forums become ghost towns--to wit, the Kindle Fire HD dev forums.

I see your point. My thinking was if any deving happens on the surface would disappear in the w8 dev section, quick.
Short of things related to the hardware, there's nothing about Surface RT that's not relevant to other Windows RT devices, and nothing about Surface Pro that's not relevant to Win8 tablets in general. I actually think what we need is more WIn8 forums, rather than more Surface forums. For example, one forum specifically devoted to dev & hacking on RT, where stuff like the work to get around the third-party desktop app restriction would go, and one forum for general Metro-style development, where people could post beta (or homebrew, non-store) versions of their apps, ask for advice or translations, etc. Currently there's just General (which is almost all Q&A, much of it quite basic stuff) and then the dev&hacking forum for all of Win8 (and by extension Windows RT) which covers everything from Store apps to registry tweaks.
I have just seen youtube review of this perfect device and I think it is very good one to buy! The only thing I am concerned is tablet pen!
I had laptop 8.0 of this brand and laptop pen in it hanged out it irritates seriously!!! What about tab pen in this Samsung Galaxy Tab 12.2?
You are posting in the wrong section. You should be posting questions in the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting section. I suspect you missed the the first thread in this section is titled NO QUESTIONS in This Forum so I have quoted it here with my reply:

To keep this from being a pointless reply I will answer your question, albeit in the wrong section:
The pen is stored completely flush with the edge of the device and is removed using small ridges that you hook with your finger nails or finger tips. It is secured very well and I have had mine for a few months and it is just as good as when I got it.
Dear expert team & Forum members ,
I really appreciate your advice and looking forward to have your inputs based on your experience .
Iam not a mobile fan person however I prefer to have the best business and practical phone that will last with me for the coming 2 to 3 years.
my short list among the current mobile phones will be between Huawei nexus 6p and Microsoft Lumia 950 XL.
Kindly advice which one you recommend for business and normal use.
Awaiting for your reply
