When using the voice to text, how do I send the message without pressing the send button? When I say "Enter" it goes to the next line. When I say "send," it types out the word. Is there a command to send the message without pressing the send key?
Edit: I am using Swiftkey.

Is there any way to enable confirmation message box when I click the left "Send" soft key on the display?
This can happen accidentaly because "Send" button is located just under the T9 button on the HTC Numeric Keyboard and I really don't want to send empty or incomplete messages...
Thank You
Hi friends
i noticed, each time if i want to send a message, i've to go to message-> selecting the account->and then new.
And what abt recently used numbers.. Each time have to select from contacts
I love this phone.. but why this phone lacks these basic stuffs
You can also start typing the number or the name (i.e 5->6->4->6 for John) on the home screen and switch left or right to SMS (txt) and then press the click on it, it will open the messaging app and you can start texting that person! Just a little tip
Otherwise look for AEButton which can assign a function to every hardware key!
Also, when you are in the messaging app and the "to" field is highlighted, just start typing the name, just like I told you above and a popup will open with all the possible names!

Hello All,
Is there a way to create an app that will open and record a voice note and insert into my text message.
It would simply be a on screen button and when I press and hold....it records.... and if I let off it stops and inserts into my text message.
Is this possible?
Thanks
been wondering this for a while...let's say I click the microphone whilst in a text...speak some text and want to send it...is there a command to do this w/o hitting the send button?
I am using Hangouts as my default SMS app and my keyboard instead of a carriage return (enter), it sends the message I'm making. I have used EvolveSMS before and the default keyboard enter key works just fine. Is this a Hangouts bug? Or my ROM?
EDIT:
Pressing Shift + enter keys do not work either.

I think it may be a Hangouts thing, whether it's a bug or a built in "feature" I'm not sure. I normally use the Google keyboard when I text and it doesn't even list a return button when the keyboard is open. Switched to my stock keyboard, which did have does have a return key when texting, and typed up a message and pressed it. Sent the message straight away.
