Huawei Ascend P2

Hi Guys,
Just wondering whether anyone has plans to create custom ROMS for the Ascend P2 now that Huawei have released the kernels.

We really need custom ROMs. The stock firmware is awful. Music player cutting out on me ect. We just need the boot loader unlocked.

I've just huawei for boot loader unlock. They sent a link to page but our device model isn't on the drop down list. I hope they add it and hope I can unlock the device even tho I'm rooted with eroot

Bricked phone - HELP!
So my p2 is bricked (stock at boot logo) and usb debugging is disabled so i dont know i i can fix it does anyone know any methods to fix it

please help i own an Ascend g700-u10 huawei after flashing the stock rom from this site now the IMEI is iinvalid i've tried different ways but no luck and the engineer mode says (AT send is failed) any help ??? please i cant make any calls ??

The Huawei G700 has an MTK Processor, thus this tool should be able to fix your problem.
Alternatively use this guide.

Anybody know a good tutorial to install a custom recovery on this model?
I already searched this forum and google, can't find anything

That androidforums thread virtually ended in november 2014... with a question related to this topic. Besides, that one was for an older Ascend. Frankly, it seems no one really has an answer regarding bootloader unlock or custom recovery for any G730 version yet. Perhaps we'll never see a straight solution on that matter for this device, since apparently there is no developer interested on it out there. Sad
... But man, at least we can root!

I don't know. That's a 2011 topic.... It say's 'for Huawei Ascend', but there's a lot of 'Huawei Ascend' phones and not everyone of them is created equal...

[Completed] Root and flash CM 13 in Huawei GR5 ( KII L21)

I just updated my Huawei GR5 to Marshmallow , it's great but I want to use CM 13 in this phone. I am a little new at this so if anyone can provide me with the info on how I can root this phone (as it may not be popular) ,how to unlock bootloader, flash twrp, get CM for GR5 (KII L21 variant) and flash it?
And please give instructions to revert back to stock firmware if things dont work out.
