i m flashed my xl with aokp kitkat 4.4.2. after flash my xl model number changed frm c2104 to c2105. is there any prblm? thanks in advance

No problem at all
You can change that number to any random no
Install build.prop editor from playstore
You can edit the device name to c2104

basically this mod makes fake DPI for playstore and makes almost all the apps compatible with your device and its pretty easy
here are some screen shots of playstore taken from my xperia tipo

PROCEDURE:-
download Multi DPI Play Store v4.1.6 for ICS/JB depending on your OS version
place it on SD card
reboot into CWM
just flash the zip without wiping anything
reboot
DONE!!

go to system folder using root explorer and you will find a file named build.prop. long press on that and select "edit in text editor option". now find ro.product.device=ST21i and change it to ro.product.device=softwin now tap on menu button and select save and exit, then reboot your phone

hmm.. buddy its not compatible with my device (ST21i) also..... so pls can u tell any other device name so that i can suggest you the coresspomding changes in the procedure..

buddy do one thing, just change "ro.product.device=(your device name)" to "ro.product.device=tf300t" in the build.prop, reboot and try again
it's work on my xperia e ss but i'm not sure the games can play workfine...

Thanks! Downloaded the US one before this, flashed it without baseband but it would start and then bootloop again. Btw prefer Dev-host over mediafire, it prvodies MD5, which is necessary to check before flashing. Could you provide the MF5 of the file? You can find MD5 checker for free online for Windows.

I'm confused with the 'a' in the back of the model number and I'm going to install a custom rom on it.
The question is, can I use st26i rom over st26a? Does both model have different hardware or what??

Unlock your bootloader and switch to kitkat
BTW , that is liquidsmooth (by me )

You should be rooted .Take a backup ,if something goes wrong!
Install xposed framework .Activate it.Then download the module called advanced roboot( something lyk DAT the name not so sure) Activate it in modules. And ull get the reboot option.Configure it.And ull get the reboot option.
