Thanks! Downloaded the US one before this, flashed it without baseband but it would start and then bootloop again. Btw prefer Dev-host over mediafire, it prvodies MD5, which is necessary to check before flashing. Could you provide the MF5 of the file? You can find MD5 checker for free online for Windows.

Probably depends on which firmware/kernel? version you've got installed. You could try Bin4ry's method. I'll provide a link in a min. Hang on.
Though if you got one of latest firmware versions it wont work.

Not true, it DID work 100% until the latest firmware versions were released.
For Tipo that was version *.4.22, for Miro it was the *.5.5, for the Xperia J I wouldn't even know, but since those firmware versions, if you update, you cannot use Bin4ry's method, as Sony disabled the "Restore my files" function.

Peoples bypassed this in Xperia T.
You do root for the old firmware then flash CWM (for locked bootloader) then flash *.zip package with newest rom.
At the end you flash (flashtool) kernel from newest firmware. It's all. Root has not disappeared (only CWM you must re-flash)
BUT at this moment, you can root Xperia J with Bin4ry method on any firmware. I don't now how in Tipo and Miro but this topic is about Xperia J

When I tried to run the Flash FlashTool said it was the same version that is already installed. Are you sure you uploaded the right file?

xperia sp already have cwm for locked bootloader
the Xperia L and we have not yet: (
The problem is, that the kernel source needs a patched gl wrapper to get no glitches in recovery! So you all need to wait until i or another dev gets a fully working graphics.c for recovery working

Did not complain of the Xperia L for not having cwm for locked bootloader. Just made a comment that the sp which was released later and we already have not.
And now with unlocked bootloader to even'm already cwm / TWRP.

What a pity , still no simple way to install MODs , many other newest Xperia-s have working CWM on locked phone. But Xperia L is looking too hard for build CWM or users and developers group is too small ?? Maybe next week ??? :crying:

Maybe CWM from XperiaS http://www.xperiaguide.com/2013/06/...-xperia-s-sl-jelly-bean-on-locked-bootloader/ will be working on Xperia L. I will try , maybe will work .

The phone shows C2105 as model and has Singapore customization. If you have unlocked bootloader, you can always edit those values.

***Includes stock 15.0.A.1.36 kernel. If you want your old kernel or if you have installed Vengeance Kernel by @Rachit Rawat, then exclude the kernel from being flashed.
