Hi Everyone,
these are straight from AOSP Nexus 4 5.0 rom, flash them on your own risk. i've tried them, they all work for me. the zip contains Google's DeskClock, Calculator and Contacts app.
if you use LG's dialer, you have to swipe it from recent's list, otherwise contacts app will redirect you there, sorry, could not fix it.
Dialer is not working ATM.

Not possible, you must have the Desire Rom to run it. And it is the same for all the HTC apps and widgets.

Get NubDial from the market, Opensource equivalent of the HTC dialer by Wysie. it's rather nice

they are both for CleanRom, what;s the difference between the 2? and all functions work, pics send, group messaging, quick reply, etc? just trying to see before i check it out. Loserskater definitely did a nice easy write up on how to, but he even says it's only about 90% complete.... thanks!!!
One is AOSP, the other takes you back to TouchWiz original. I just changed the attachment method to include the name of the file, makes it more obvious.

Thank you so much! I can't wait to get rid of TW messaging. It's probably the one thing I really despise about Touchwiz.

Once you've loaded these AOSP mods, any AOSP mms should work. Try this:

i noticed that right after i posted. i backup my secmms anyway, but good to know there is a fix here if needed instead of pulling it out of CR6.zip thanks for your work here. and there is an inverted one that works on CR6 by amiblindyet located here- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2133556. just choose the right one...

Sorry for the potentially dumb question, but I've never used AOSP.... The thing I hate about TW MMS is that when a picture is received, it is always considered a slideshow. There is no way to expand or zoom the picture unless it is downloaded first, then opened through the gallery. "Go SMS" and "handcent", in contrast, let you directly zoom on the MMS pic. Will this solve the problem as well?

Yes it does, that was actually one of the main reasons why I jumped messaging apps. I think you'll like it. I'm normally a TW guy but I definitely like what was done for this. Plus, it took care of that sluggishness that I had with the TW messager.

I installed this ASOP zip (along with [APP] User Themeable Messaging +Quick Reply +Group Messaging +Emoji 4.2.2 (3/04/2013)) and the SMS seems fine but when I try and send a picture, I get "Unfortuantely, Messaging has stopped." Any ideas?
Edit: Okay, I reflashed the ASOP zip and now it works. Then I tried to theme it with the User Themeable Messaging and it won't work again.

I think the framework is different? Honestly I'm not 100% sure but I think each one is different.
It's gotta be the themes, cause this zip file works fine without the theme. But once I flash the blue/white TW theme, my MMS don't work anymore.

I found with Andybones AOSP theme that you need to flash the theme before this. And if you want to flash a new or updated theme you need to flash back to the TW Mms App first. Flashing a theme over AOSP Mms was nothing but problems even with reflashing AOSP Mms afterwards.

Oh, I really wish I read this before flashing the Andybones theme... I had CR6R2 with the AOSP MMS, and flashed the AOSP Theme, and everything broke. I was getting constant com.android.phone and Messaging force closes and the phone was completely unstable. Even reflashing CleanROM and MMS again didn't fix it. Ended up having to wipe my phone and start over... Oh well. Lesson learned.
EDIT: I ended up trying what you stated by flashing Andybones theme before flashing the AOSP MMS, and still had the exact same issue. Constant Phone and Messaging force closes, and the phone's signal would disconnect constantly. Stock CleanROM with this MMS? Perfectly fine. Very strange... I realize this is two mods running at the same time and that can cause issues, but having Andybones theme with the stock AOSP MMS would be perfect!
I just tested this, and I can confirm it does work with my theme.
You must first flash my theme (reboot into the ROM..)
Then back into recovery to flash this MOD.

Very strange indeed... I did exactly that, and had the issues I mentioned previously... I didn't flash any other mods either... I wonder if it's an app I have that is interfering somehow. Now I'm curious what my issue is.
Here are my Inverted and Transparent Apps. More will come!! As always make a back up prior to flashing just in case.
Flash using your custom recovery or extract the zip using your file explorer and take the modded apk and replace if with the stock one, set permissions, reboot, and enjoy! Sometimes you may have to go to your phones settings>apps>storage and clear cache and data then roll back the apk to stock (in some phones disable then re-enable the app) in order for it to show or work.

After flashing this Hangouts doesn't work. Says I need to update Google play services BC my device isn't supported. I tried clearing data/cache
edit* So I restored my rom back up that I made prior to flashing this and the Play Services issue went away. I am in no way blaming ur app but I did not change anything besides flashing the inverted zip. this is not a complaint, I am fully aware its flash at my own risk. Im just letting u know what happened in case it happens to anyone else.
I know dude its okay that is a issue with rom makers and signature verification with play services,,,happen on some and not others.

Thank you very much! I can do that, but how good are you with 7zip? If you are then get a copy of the original play store, unthemed and then take mine and open them both up with 7zip (right click hit open). Go to the Mipmap folders and move (drag and drop, do not cut and copy) the ic_launcher_play_store png out of the Mipmap XHDPI and XXHPDI folders from the original apk to my themed one. Hit okay and then place my apk back in the zip and reflash,,,then you will have the original icons as opposed to mine. As far as text, it is white LOL? If you have any problems PM me and I can help!

Yes it is possible!
Do you mean the App Drawer in Launcher or the background of the APK?
In the Launcher it is transparent!
You have to decompile the APK and recompile and then replace the background with an encoding in the XML! Since I'm not even so new to LG G3 and am also on odex files I need to be smarter with LG G3 first !!

Yes you can change the Background in the Google Now Launcher.
You decompile and recompile the apk and write other code in your xml File and than flash the apk or change with Rootexplorer.

Moved libs, changed permissions and installed both apps but I can't choose to use the launcher at all. Isn't popping up as selectable on the default launcher popup. Any ideas? Google Now works fine.
I downloaded Asus Zenfone Lollipop update Rom for someones phone. Its a 600 mb zip file.
UL-ASUS_T00G-WW-3.23.40.60-user.zip I used.
I extracted some apk files to see if they will work in LG G2. Interestingly launcher, mirror, do it later, file manager, minimovie, music, photocollage, quickmemo, clock, sound recorder, supernote, calendar, backup, data transfer, telephone, weather, flashlight, email, powersaver with fc, auto start manager, whatsnext, calculater, galery, setupwizard, supernote, browser, and some more all work without any fc. On cloudys 3.3 rom i could not run asus message and asus contacts but asus dialer works. Dialer has recording option a nice dialer. Maybe someone put all these apks in a zip file and flash it over a Aosp rom but other than a fex things all are working, functioning without any problem. I did not use any lib file, i only either installed apk or put apk to system. Maybe camera, message and some others can work too.
I dont post these here, you can find the zip from asus page. If anyone wants me test something i can. Or i can send apk files if any request.
I only need advice how can i run asus contacts. Deleting lgcontacts or renaming this does not work.
If someone can give me a empty zip file i want to add system folder and flash to see what happens. I dont know how to make zip file.

i know that zip is an lollipop update but some companies uses on lollipop base API19 architecture .
if they are based on API 19 i may get interested in this project

A few things did not work. Dialer works but contacts and incall iu did not. It starts but does not work, maybe it needs to have lib files or something else. I dont know how to find missing thing if i knew i could try.
