Few hours ago I installed 8 launcher just to see how does it look like but when I un installed it and revert back to nova navigation bar is not transparent. How to fix this? It's not only on nova launcher, it's on all launchers. I booted into safe mode, didn't help, wiped cache, nothing. Maybe if someone gives me his system Ui so I can paste it on mine. I'm running latest lollipop factory image.

System UI wont help because your systemUI won't have changed. It's a /data issue if anything.

I suppose what I mean is was it black whilst using launcher 8?
It sounds to me it messed with a setting when you uninstalled it. There may be something in a database somewhere it changed, but you may need help from app dev for that.

Yes it was, everything, even status bar, but status bar is fine as you can see in picture
I found a solution. I switched wallpaper few times and it didn't work. Then I switched wallpaper to live wallpaper (muzei) and it's transparent again. Weird lol

Thank you for that. Another question, anyway to set custom led colors for app notifications?

That feature is built into PA so no need to download any 3rd party apps!
Just go to the following:
Settings
Display
Pulse Notification Light
+Add

Yeah I figured it out, under the PA setting hit the menu button and select apps. From there you can assign the size of each app. The best one for GS3 is the smallest one which is 1.26p I believe (I switched to CleanRom 7). From there use the slider and bring it all the way to the right. Apply changes and you should be golden.
Edit:
I just used G2 Xposed and set my nav bar to 50% transparency. Done and done. If you have any questions, just ask.

I've read a transparent is possible with certain settings but I've also read that it is not possible. I'm half way there but I need the help of others.
Right now, I do have a transparent navigation bar on top of Nova Launcher. My only issue is the gradient behind the dock items and I'm not sure how to get rid of it. Anyone else run into this issue?
My Device:
VS980 - Malladus 4.2.2 - Nova Launcher - Xposed Framework w/ G2 Xposed

You'll just need to uncheck the 'show shadow' option under the desktop settings and you'll be good to go.

It has been a while since I last used Nova and the suggestion above sounds good but in case it does not solve the issue I would look at the Dock options in Nova and see is there is a transparency option there. By the way your screen looks it seems to be shaded from Nova on the Dock.

Lol no problem. Right after doing some xposed stuff I can understand not realizing it was a separate issue.

Nice idea, i will reinstall nova... i used before but i forget to reinstall it
Hey guys,
long time gone since I asked something in Q&A section, but no idea anymore...
I tested xposed framework again after some time. Problem always was the icon themer module which always want to get activated, even it already was.
This time I could change the icon theme once and afterwards I couldn't get back into to change to default, because the module wanted to get activated again -_-
After deleting all I had the default icons back, BUT my icon size and distance isn't as it was.
So with changing the density to default, u won't see any problem, but with setting it down (like I always had) u can see what I'm talking about.
Actually:

Thanks in advance for any ideas and tips.
PS: Because I already tried so much, today I also did a fullwipe, without success.

Use the up to date icon themer (Unicon) from the play store

That would maybe let me change the icon, but this definitely helps to reset the sizes and distances?

Yeah, like I wrote I always have changed my dpi. I always on 435dpi.
Only default (480dpi) will show all correct.
CHEERS
OK guys, I got it back again.
1st of all, like @thereal_bigjake mentioned, u need the actual icon themer!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=sg.ruqqq.IconThemer
But now it's not just done with changing icons...
- U have to choose another icon theme first
- Reboot
- then choose the default/system one
- Restart launcher
=> now it's fixed and u can change to another theme if u want.
Thanks guys and CHEERS
EDIT!
*push*
I was wrong -_-
After a reboot it's back to the 5*5 than 4*4 raster and having the normal icon size...
Any more idea... Really disturbing
PS: So I always get back the original view when restarting the launcher via app. But after reboot it's bad listed again.

I use a dual-sim version of Moto G. My phone has been updated to 4.4.2 for over a month now, but suddenly a couple of days ago the bottom navigation bar lost the transparency (screenshot is posted) that's a prominent feature of the kitkat update. This is really bothering me, and i have not made any changes in the settings in the last few days.
p.s. this is not a wallpaper issue. i'v tried atleast 20 wallpapers since facing this problem.
help would be really appreciated. thank you!!

try to crop the wallpaper with another app, eg. Zedge
I had this issue
I had this issue too. Turns out all you had to do was try out different crop sizes. When selecting your wallpaper, try pinching and zooming. I use the Google Now Launcher at the moment and it scales the wallpaper for your automatically.
Seems indeed an issue with the wallpaper. Nothing wrong with KK.
There is a problem when you try to set the wallpaper from the photo or gallery app. As someone else said try to set the wallpaper from zedge, Rwilco12, wall base any other app of your choice. It's gonna work.

Anyway to get right clock like in Oreo back?? And also anyway to get nav bar buttons back and not use gestures? I can root if I have to or anyway is fine! Let me know thanks
Sent from my SM-N960U1 using Tapatalk
You can get the button NAV back without root following this XDA tutorial: https://www.xda-developers.com/disable-android-pie-gestures-google-pixel-3/
But I don't think there is any way to get the clock back on the right. If you really don't like the clock on the left; you can remove it altogether from the left via the system UI tuner, but then you have no clock at all in your status bar.
There are some Substratum themes that can do that including my Translucent Substratum Theme which moves it to the right hand side.

nothing on stock?
Also interested in putting clock back to where it belongs
If you are rooted and have TWRP than the Tulsa mods can adjust the clock.
Check out my retro look in the attached screenshot.

I like the centered clock. Finally makes use of that wasted space in the middle since Android Pie doesn't use it.
