anyone having issues playing certain gameloft games on latest fw with ics,
I can't get tintin or assassins creed working, it just force closes, and tintin just closes down without fc,
however asphalt adrenaline hd work with modern combat 3, gta 3 and need for speed shift, 9mm hd
It's ICS, some of them aren't compatible. NOVA 2 won't work, and even though it works Asphalt6 has random red lines during play.
for the random red lines to dissapear you need to use the updated apk file, so the red lines are gone for me
except now fast five has red lines everywhere, polygons or something i assume
brothers in Army II also FC after playing several minutes each time on my XE with sense3.6.,but modern combat 3 and 9mm hd running so good!
eternal legancy and MC3 not playable for me on ICS
asphalt 6 hd 1.0.8 = wrong accelerometer control..
NFS hot pursuit = bad cars sound (skipped)
game faults, not ICS....
using chainfire 3d for some and they work
nova 2 not working for me
For me latest asphalt works fine.
MC3 not works.
GTA3 works fine

i'm on elegancia and tintin, asfalt , modern combat 2 works for me .... i bought them on android market ....
Dont know about ics but the recent mc3 update screwd it up completely.. runs like a snail on acid

Yes, issues with Spider Man Total Mayhem, Shrek Kart and the free racing one who's name evades me right now.
Running DXLP7 on SGS2, same results rooted and un rooted.
I even wiped everything including /sdcard re-flashed and still the same.
C'mon gameloft get some updates out, my son will love you!

Having emailed them, Gameloft have admitted issues with certain games and ICS. Apparently they are working on updates...? Meanwhile results same on XWLP3.
Spiderman version 1.0.0 works a little better than 1.0.2 but still hangs/crashes

exactly! version 1.1.1 is totally messed up! i had to revert back to 1.0.1
any update on this issue? nova 2hd loads up for me then just shuts down after the intro vid and assasins creed shuts down after the first tutorial level after i pickpocket the key for the gate.. ics 4.0.3

Hi all!
Which is a really problem with HD gameplay on ICS? Multi Touchscreen driver?? because All the time FC. and i look that if i pressing 2 place on my screen after i have FC if i playing just one fingers after good but this not good.
So i just want ask. Is there any ICS builds which we can play HD games? If solution the oldered build than ok just pls says that which is.
I think lot of people needed good game and this is a one thing that lot of people not upgrade hd2 to the latest ics!!!
For example installed to my friend and he love the "new" phone just Hd games doesnt work after he said that flashing back Cm7 or mokee os.

every site that I go to with game recommendations has the same crap all over again. it's like all the games are in this form:
level, there are 3 stars. you need to get 3-star play to pass the level with highest score.
I DO NOT want that, and everywhere I go to for games, everyone is recommending that. Piggy adventure, Shoot the apple, Annoying Birds, etc.
Android and the accompanied hardware are capable enough to run extremely extensive games, like some adventures and such, and I cant find those.
what I actually want:
A game that is long-hours playable, that has any kind of the in-game development, and that is not "in levels" type of game.
I like mystery kind of games, like Room escape games (finished all of Android REG, which are few and mostly retarded), maybe some RPG games that have a little bit more graphic than those "pokemon" type games.
some career games, maybe where you develop your car/character/vehicle but all that I played become monotonous after time.
"Defender" Game is an example of how it should be, and how they should have added stuff when you reach 300+ level. After you kill the first Dragon Lord and 2 Pig-man (at the same time) the game becomes boring.
Are there any BIG games for Android .. ? you know the feeling when you played Resident evil 1 and 2 on PSX, and you played it for hours and days, trying to figure out stuff, and it was sooo good that you wanted more and more .. ? (now that Im writing this I see that PC also lacks that kind of intellectual games and all you do is kill bunch of stuff for 6 hours of a single day and that's it)
look at these games:
Sacred Odyssey: Rise of Ayden*, Eternal Legacy* - RPG,
Samurai II: Vengeance - action
Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X*, Winds of Steel - flight simulator
FIFA 10, FIFA 12 or PES 11*, PES 12 - sport/football
or maybe GTA 3 for android.
Maybe you'll like sth of these games?

I dont pay for anything so it doesnt matter if it's in stores or not (Im from Serbia, and lots of software and content are unavailable even If I wanted to Pay, I only payed for Adobe Design cause I work for foreigners and cant have final products made with pirated versions )
On another topic - Does Anyone remember Desert strike and the Strike series for Genesis/MD2 ... ? It would be avesome if that kind of games were for android, A simple helicopter you could play for months, cause of various levels n stuff... ?

For games from psx u can use emulator like FPSE. Im using it to play eg. Metal slug or tekken 3.
However i have XPlay and it has build-in emulator.

Yes. In FPSE u can go to setting/input/hardware keys and configure it. Im using XPlay ps buttons to play...

Wow man, Im in for some awesome gaming! Android game pallete really sucks knowing how it is a powerfull platform (stronger than 2003 average PC's in pure FLOPS power) and there is NOTHING good to play. Emulation is the way to go.
I've found Dead Space quite a good game once you get into it.

You have to aim at the door and press the glowing blue hexagon on your back, this should freeze the doors. Worked for me.

have you checked street fighter 4 ? is it working without lag and glitches ?
Well i have played modern combat 3,4, gta 3, asphalt 6,7, nfs most wanted, shadowgun, six guns, and much more without lag on atrix 2

Yes... Street Fighter 4 works perfectly with the Qualcomm plugin of Chainfire3D and GB 2.3.6. Absolutely no lags or white background. Street Fighter 4 does not work on ICS. This is not a limitation of the ATRIX 2 however, but a compatibility issue with the game itself.

There is a way actually as I remember playing Samurai II: Vengeance THD (Tegra version) a few months back on my ATRIX 2 device. You will need the Chainfire3D app along with the nvidia GPU plugin for it to work.
I suggest buying a Tegra3 device if you can afford. Very high end is Tegra territory. The Optimus 4x HD is available for a sweet price, after the launch of the Nexus 4.
Atrix 2 is capable. I guarantee it will run most games (non-tegra), but, it is not something that will last. If you were asking this same question 8-9 months back, I would've suggested you to go for it, but, not now.

Nova 3 is smooth. No problem in any game at all. Tested almost all HD/3D games including games like MC4, GTA III, Nova 3.
Though facing problems with GTA VC(Screen freezes though phone is still working and multi-task can be open with all sounds from the game), Gangstar Rio(controls messed-up) and Sims Freeplay(Not Compatible).

I think that problem is that these games are not optimized for our phone. Such problems are always prevalent with Gameloft, Gangstar Rio is old now, better wait for Gangstar Vegas as Gangstar Rio is not optimized for Nexus 7 also. Though GTA VC is very old now, it is not optimized maybe because even 1GHz single core devices can play it easily.

Yup you might be right. I think the devs should update the games and optimize them.
I also noticed that in FPS games like MC4, the multi-touch dosen't work properly! I can't move and shoot at the same time. Does this happen with anyone of you?

played asphlat 7,max payne,dead trigger,shadowgun dead zone and nfs most wanted on my c2105 and all of them ran quite smoothly ,deadzone had a little lag when i switched the setting to high but on medium it was silky smooth :cyclops:

2 point multitouch works fine for me although it screws up after placing 3 fingers or placing fingers closer,try cleaning your screen protector :fingers-crossed:

With GS it got little but with MW it got more hot...
But it normal my Neo V will get super HOT with 30 mins of Play
i dont see any lag when i played any games on this phone..the terrible one is only high temperatures of the battery

I didn't try these games, but I can play Asphalt 8, Real Racing 3, Nova 3 and Modern Combat 4 smoothly with graphics set to max. Almost no lag when playing.

Well, i can't even found those games in the Google Play market. I assume must be the compatibility issues. I am using the stock one that come with the phone. I haven't changed anything.

Which Android version is installed on the phone? I played those games and some more graphic intense one real racing 3 and gta san andreas almost without any lag at maximum graphics. I was both on 4.2.2 with Sense 5 and 4.4.2 vanilla and didn't experience any problems. The GPU inside the One S is quite capable even in 2014
Mine's fine just get's it just heats up loads when playing!
Me too, I'm very angry with it. Why should htc one s have not these games while other devices less powerful can play them??
